Dwrood

just waiting

I've made mistakes
who of us hasn't
said I'm sorry till it hurts
asked the lord to forgive
So why can't I find her
this love of my life
Is my penance loneliness
for the rest of my days?
even though I see daylight
though I've changed my ways
I've seen the bottom......
and glad to be back
tons of love to show
before I feel back on track
I try not to judge
And wish folks were the same
when I'm just a memory
who'll remember my name?
just need to love
and feel some in return
I'm not perfect, I know
and still much to learn

You Are The One

You, my best ever catch.
You, my perfect match.
You, the one I always think about.
You, the one I can't do without.
You, the one who sets my heart on fire.
You, the one I desire.
You, the one I love to kiss.
You, the one I miss.
You, the one who is so far away.
You, the one I want in every way.

Hugs N Kisses

The mailbox

A horoscope's like a guide sometime
Hellps you;tellin' you about lifetime
Can be a friend or not's comin'
Every day with sunshine without harmin'
Givin' you clues and words
So you can feed your moornin'
To enjoy your day without warnin'
Can be somethin' deliberate
But sounds interesting can be a fate
Shall i open Pandora's box
Or shall i send first a fax
Maybe i've to wait..to see
What i can get..in the mailbox.

ocean in the sky

blue sky
a cloud or two
land below
river runnen through
heat of the sun
melting ice
vaporing water
clouds getting larger
sky's turning darker
wind is blowing
clouds are roaming
gravity it's decoding
covering a blue sky
mist in the air
a drop on my hair
soaking wet
a minute it took
from the ocean in the sky

About this poem:
clouds defying gravity should be one of the lifes mysteries, i think.
all clouds are is evaporated water. so technically it's an ocean in the sky.

Simple Thought

You are the eyes of the sky
The light of the sun, the tenderness of the clouds;
Stars are your thoughts, the moon is your dream.

You are the scent of all flowers,
The beauty of all species, the wisdom of the mountains,
Nature is your smile, wind is your touch.

You are the heat of the fire,
The energy of the thunder, the strength of the waves;
Earth is your flash, oceans your blood.

You are the immensity of the space,
The charm of the dawn, the colour of the sunset;
Lakes are your ears, rivers your voice

You are the white of purity,
The black of mysteries, the red of passion;
Peace is your music , love is your poetry

You are the tale of many,
Essence and meaning;
You are a simple thought.

she

From monuments high
On pillars of stone
She stands alone
Her gaze

Her features
Her sensual body set in stone
Frome granite stone
Her gaze fixed

She stands
For all to see
Model set in stone For she is the attraction
The model for all to see

Heard a Noise

gather around, feathers from all shapes
emerging, collecting
and trivial fly, to where all started
the noise that wasn't
sound from all over, except my ears
commotion is created, by, not me
gosh, never been so rested, and alerted
vicious, definitely, burden, all the way
yeah, knowingly.

Gazing from my Windows

Gazing from my Windows
Oressie Simmons

Will society eventually weaken and numb me, blinding my eyes to what I’m actually supposed to see!

From these windows in which I stand I’m able to gain a glance of the meager and as well as the grand.

Although they measure just .09 I’m able to define.

Life!

For it’s not the lavish, beautiful or gangster images I observe or any other adjective selfish self-promoting sounding verb.

By treating others how you want to be treated because by going so evil will always be defeated.

Do ya’’ll think?

So why not embrace the differences in one another because the human race will go heaps further turning my foe into my brother.

For my window represents a lens, enabling me to see great compassion as well as the deplorable sins.

Of society!

My human filters are always in focus allowing me the time to recognize and notices the real from the bogus.

In situations!

Showing me humanities’ bigotry, racism and prejudice from above, my windows give me a perfect view on how people love.

As well as hate.

These windows have been my key, giving me the insight where before I could not see, allowing me to diagnose society as it must be.

So what if I see all the clues and the world still eventually lose, for who can I blame for I have no team in this game and if I lose and the world win it’s still the same, a damn shame yet I’ll be still looking out my windows the same.
