I Will Never Forget

Embedded image from another site

I started a canvas with only colors of gray
But then I realized I made an outline of your face
So I painted your lips something I really miss
The tenderness and warmth of your beautiful kiss
I colored your eyes they were as blue as the sky
They held all of my dreams and answered every question why
That I ever wondered about my short life
You gave me a reason to be and hopes to fly
And I didn't mind that we would fight sometimes
Because that gave our friendship a stronger reason to try
I began drawing your features as I remember whispering in your ears
Please don't ever to be afraid and that I love you my dear
So I painted some pink and red on the sides of your cheeks
Because when you showed emotions your colors would speak
As I rubbed on your body your scent would remain on my hands
If the world held hidden treasures then your body was the map
As I kissed you on your neck and I catch the smell of your hair
When my mind was congested you were a breath of fresh air
Then I kissed you on your lips and again on your head
You're just like a dream that I will never forget

"YOU'LL DINE AGAIN!"

You can be the king of the rock, there’s no race to the top.
In the game of hide and seek, I’ll find your Gräfenberg spot.
Your gratification will be expressed in every tremble
I’ll take pleasure in making that cookie crumble.
Lick it, sip it when you drip.
Insider’s information tip is that you’ll be in for a trip.

My tricks will bring you treats.
In the game of seduction I have all the cheats.
Dine in, no takeaways or doggy bags.
On this menu appetizer, main course and desserts don’t have pricy tags
Indulge, savor, eat till you’re fill.
My pockets are filled with stamina, I’ll foot the bill.

Any time and any day you can be serviced.
No Sabbath, there’s no rest for the wicked.
But all customers are required to take fortune cookie before they leave.
Superstitious stuff or prophecy, it’s up to you to believe.
So take a peek at what destiny will ordain.
Your fortune will read “You’ll dine again!"

CAPE OF TWO OCEANS....

I remember, where two oceans collide
Off fore shore, so blue and wide
Seagulls call, haunting presence on air
Emotional explosion, for being there

Focus the cape, a lighthouse stands
Rocky outcrops, sea spray as hands
Wraps you in spirits, of those before
Making a journey, stay in folk-lore

In memory, a special place belongs
Echo of nature, wind plays its song
Draw eyes to far horizon, inner peace
View stays forever, truth not on lease...

lost in thought

walking my dog
looking across
and over mountains
a breath taking view
i began patting
my dogs head
one sadness
overwhelming tears
feeling so lonely
loosing my
best friend
just gave the dog
a great big hug

sweet sadness
carried on a fresh breeze
feeling the yawning
in the silence of grief
sweeping inside
holding out the key
standing thinking
of one beautiful rose
blushing angels
sparkling thoughts

sharing spring time
sheep lambing
listening to the bleats
of the baby lambs
my eyes they spot
a bunch of primroses
plucking one
gently putting
it to my nose

pictures flashed
in this mind
i began smiling
looking at such love
a dream in the soft
gentle fragrance
scenting such beauty
floating spring breeze

tear drops fall
smiling deeply
i never stop loving
until the end
i deserve to be happy
listening to birds
softly singing a sweet song
blowing in
a mountain breeze

tasting spring
floating upon air
oh how i await
that gentle dream beauty
who softy sweeps
over this ocean
on wings
of an angel

Does She Know

Does she know or doesn't she know
Maybe she'll never find out
I've been dreaming on poetry corner
With so many things to write about

Does she know or doesn't she know
Maybe I should stop writing today
But poetry corner is the only house of God
Where I could find a place to pray

Does she know or doesn't she know
Would it make a difference what would she do
Maybe I'm just wasting my time
So why is line after line another line of you

Does she know or doesn't she know
I'll have to wait and see
Where is all this ever going to go
Or will it stay does she or doesn't she

Yesterday Young

It's been a long journey over yonder mountain
No going back to yesterday young
In memories I drink from a sweet fountain
But there's no going back to yesterday young

Sun never seems to age
Neither wind nor rain
But every day turns a page
And older my name

I want to take a stroll
But life wants to run
Once upon a time I was never slow
But there's no going back to yesterday young

I sit on a bridge and see a gentle stream
Reached for a star but could only share a gentle dream
And so I know now what I didn't know then
Sure as tomorrow comes there's no going back to yesterday young

FREEDOM...

Early morning, after first breath of light
Foggy mist drapes, before clouds flight
Wait warmth of sunshine, to lift and give
A spring days filled, with hope to live
Life as you desire, freedom your right
From breaking dawn, to the depth of night

untitled

a spell is cast
a heart is open
it knows, it feels, it decides
it waits for you
in perfect truth
then it listerns

First and Last Meeting

I do love you so
But where have you gone?
I do love you
And it must be so wrong

I got up this morning
You were nowhere my mate
I fell ill in my mouring
For we were to have a first date

I missed you so much
And you caused me great pain
The emptiness as such
I could surely never ever faign

I started to dress as all grew slack
Could find you no where
Singles of blue, brown and black
My face a lonely blank stare

Where is my colourful mate
To even one of my lovely socks
I lament and anxiously state
I'm derranged and in shock

Thirty singles for a single foot
I can't understand a stitch
Who could have gave you the boot
Nothing to wear what a botch

I searched the old dryer
I even searched the washer too
Things have gotten dire
What is a sockless man to do

Matched them up for size
One black and one blue
Fear in my shocked eyes
Traumatized with first coffee with you

Relationships and such

We all take things from past relationships we have had.
So what have I learned? Flossing is important, laughing is essential, actions speak louder than words, perfection is impossible, no matter how good you treat someone there is that possibilty you will be treated like shit instead of the shovel, communication is the key. It's the first thing we really learn in life. Funny thing is once we grow up, learn our words and really start talking the harder it becomes to know what to say. Or how to ask for what we really need.
So it is better to be single than to be in a bad relationship. If its worth it, i will work for it, if its not, i wont. Dont say anything you will regret because you can't take it back. Finally, you must expose yourself emotionally..... its the only way to reap loves greatest rewards.
Somedays I roll, most days i walk
Good days i dance, great ones i fly
Although one thing I have learned in life is some people have the mental depth of a pancake.
Want syrup with that?
