A familiar stranger
Stares back at me
A squeaking sound
My shoes travel where they want
Get to follow them
Eruption in space
Into a new dimension

Dreams transform into clouds
Sparkling drops return
No air left to breathe
Flowing sky following you
Vacuum for me
Locked in the closet
The skeleton felt confined
Those dirty secrets
The night was dragging
Nightmares kept coming back

was an ode to my loving best friend with was taken too fast from me I only hope no one else would ever have to exsprience such loss.
Anew
expand to split the surface
lives engulfed by loss
Tsunami washes
the earth’s crust while salty tears
seep into the core
Hearts shaken, broken
lovely lives drowned, buried, as
seasons’ sun radiates.
Still underneath skin
hope courses veins, awaiting.
Spring, where is thy bloom?
