Contrition

These sins of mine, persist with time, consisting of bad thoughts...
Then transfer to, actions untrue, just look what I have taught...
I brought truths not, then fought the fight, I ought not fight no more...
I might bring light, laced with pure dark... sick darkness I abhor...

At times it seems, serene in dreams, some dreams can open doors...
Revealing scenes, deep in between, these things should not be seen...
And while it's true, He suffered too, that I might suffer not...
Well I was taught, to be like Him...let me abide with You....

Unsure

Oh life,
Is it to be my path?
Is her path to remain hidden?
Will she see the embers?
Or do ashes cover embers?
Will the waning warmth,
of a weary heart, light her way?

Oh love,
Is hope worth the pain?
Can hope survive the lashing
of cold relentless doubt?
Hours or days?
Should I approach as bold
Or will she turn into my night?

Unsure,
My stare seen as intent to stalk,
My smile seen as desperation,
My approach as attack,
Where attraction lies,
I leave it lie,
And miss opportunity so.

About this poem:
I write how I feel I conform to conventional rhyme schemes and structures when I feel like it.

If ever I find
The spring of love finds my heart
My life will blossom

I ONLY DID IT BECAUSE SHE SAID " BELIZE"

THERE ONCE WAS A BEACH IN BELIZE
UPON WHICH A CHICK BEGGED ME "PLEASE"
SO I PUT MY HAND
WHERE NATURE HAD PLANNED
AND THAT'S HOW I GOT THIS DISEASE

THIS WAS WRITTEN BEFORE WE WERE BLESSED WITH OBAMA
"ME THINKS SOMETHING STINKS

BARACH OBAMA ISN'T PRESIDENT YET
IT'S NOT IN THE BAG BUT HE IS IN THE KNOW
IF YOU ASK ME THIS COUNTRY REALLY STINKS
SO IT'S APPROPRIATE WE HAVE A PRESIDENT WITH THE INITIALS B.O.

AND OF COURSE I COULDN'T HELP BUT WRITE ONE FOR HILARY
"NOT A BAD CONCEPT"
OUR COUNTRY HAS HAD A LOT OF JOHNS AND GEORGES
BUT I'M ALMOST CERTAIN THERE WAS NEVER A PRESIDENT WITH THE MONICA MICHAEL
THIS COUNTRY HAS PROBLEMS NO MAN WILL EVER SOLVE
SO WHY DON'T WE TRY ELECTING A PRESIDENT WITH A MENSTRUEL CYCLE?
thank you for your attention

War. For Yankee's challenge

war the game of power,
the toy of the greedy ones
it's vicious and heinous
it annihilates mankind
history witnessed this atrocities
but man never learns

why?

here are some causes
I know there sre more
but the popular ones
they're hard to ignore

some say to reduce population
some say it's for fun
what's with all the profits
from selling nukes and guns

ah..what about the people
did they die in vain?
or were they just poor victims
and simply forgotten?

well here we are again
with Russia against Ukraine
much like always
nothing ever change

victims here and there
refugees everywhere
would you be so kind for them
and say a little prayer?

now I can say more
but I feel distressed
my heart is bleeding
and yet I am helpless

one thing I can say if I held the key
I would stop this madness
make this world safe and free
for you and me, and the whole humanity

About this poem:
I have written so many poems about war.
They are all in abstract forms.

This is one of the only rhymed piece I have done.
I hope it gives a clear message how brutal and heinous war is.

Time's run out

Time's run out I here you shout, he goes so very fast
Before you know what the future holds, whoosh he's gone he's passed
I point..."There's precious time, there he goes, he's just passed us by"
That's time alright I hear you cry, for no man does he wait
You have to give him credit though he's never ever late.

Shining Knight

I leave the Castle late at night
Looking for you I have to fight.
My Armor all shiny and new
Looking for adventure,
Trying to find you.....

Speaking N' Squeaking

Crawling around on the dirt,
other critters do it, so it won't hurt.

My Stomach spread on the floor,
so much to see, its Never a bore.

a mouse Scurries up and started to squeak
I listened, then i tried to speak.

It nodded back and hugged its tail,
Gave me a big smile and then just Yelled.

"The ground is ours, we won't share,
We've been here for ever, So its ours, it's only fai
r"

I got up, and whipped off my chest.
Those critters on the ground.. they got it the best.

After the sudden thought that we spoke
Makes me believe, i like rodents more than human folk.

I let you go.

Today I opened the door to the cage around my heart.

I slowly pulled each memory out, smiled, cried, kissed it and held it close one more time, then opened my hands and watched the soft beautiful butterflies with gentle colours fly free.

I let you go today.

The woodsman

Winter with snow. The woodsman emerges from the forest. He has a red checkered jacket and blonde hair. He stops and places his leather boot on the top of a stump. He turns and smiles.
