Let Your Love Pour

Feel your heart beat …
At times it does pound.
A reminder that there
Is love all around.

The heart is the center
Of the emotional field
Wherein your true essence
As love is revealed.

Place your focus right there
Bring it oft to the fore.
Then send out what you feel
And to this world you’ll bring more.

To be loved is a blessing.
To give love, greater yet.
Go forth as a light –
And others’ appetites whet.

Be so loving and kind
That when they see you they sigh,
For your love will be felt
Such that none can deny.

To feel love is a gift;
To spread it out even more.
So open your heart
And let your love pour.

Dare To Dream.

Climb into my mind,

But be careful, if you walk down the wrong path you can get Lost.

Sink into my bloodstream,

But make sure you get to My heart, if I get hurt you could just spill out onto the floor.

Walk into My Aura,

But make sure you repair the damage with rainbow colour.

Or, I could just imagine that you saw me inside my mind, found my heart and held it, and that you broke all the barriers and put lights inside the darkness.

That would be safer, that I could handle for now.

But ohh how amazing if you were real.

Give of Your Self

By helping others do you grow.
In this way true love you show.
You set aside the self a while
And help another soul to smile.

To volunteer your time is great.
Some may say you are a saint.
But let it not go to your head,
The many things that may be said.

You know inside that what you do
Comes back again to affect you.
What goes to others bounces back.
When much you give, you feel no lack.

To volunteer of time and self
Is to discover newfound wealth.
It shows you a new way to think
When with another you forge a link.

So ask yourself, what is your gift
That you can use to give a lift.
And in this way impact the whole
By sharing what’s inside your soul.

The Girl, buried in life.

The layers we build begin with the child we were.

In life we load on so many layers, like paint being added to a plank of wood.

The plank gets loaded and over time it warped and buckled.

It almost snapped at times but it didn't..

It's up to you to remove the layers of paint slowly and let the girl breathe again, you just have to be allowed to without fear.

About this poem:
Everyone you meet or have in your life gets a part of you they need at the time.

Could one person hold onto All of you?
Maybe only in dreams.

My hope

Be ready to face the harshness of life. If you succeed, you will be happy, and I will always have hope that you did not give up, so you won

Inner Peace

Today I needed to come and sit here, get lost in my memory.

Each one a joy, smile, laugh, tear, but each one precious and special.

I feel like I am floating around in a sea of so many people all of whom have seen parts of the inner me, (the outer me, well that's another story for another time, in another place, ;)

My whole mind and soul is way too much for anyone so far.
Maybe...
I love that word, the fantasy gypsy in me holds onto it like a lifeline.

About this poem:
Maybe... just maybe.
Sighs...
And I begin again to take my inner person out of the Ash and see if She's worth saving.

The willow Tree - introspection

The willow tree bends its branches, silently, leaves words left unspoken
As the tidal wave of emotion borderlines the freedom with a blissed token
Of release, as I sit quietly, by the lake, beneath the leafy canopy
My headache no longer present, my heartache no longer my burden to carry
Painless tears sweep through my essence, the burden becoming lighter
As my future, that confirmation passes into the sunset only becomes brighter

Respect, Love, care, kind, Honesty, Faithfulness

I loved you first: but afterwards your love
Outsoaring mine, sang such a loftier song
As drowned the friendly cooings of my dove.
Which owes the other most? my love was long,
And yours one moment seemed to wax more strong;
I loved and guessed at you, you construed me
And loved me for what might or might not be –
Nay, weights and measures do us both a wrong.
For verily love knows not ‘mine’ or ‘thine;’
With separate ‘I’ and ‘thou’ free love has done,
For one is both and both are one in love:
Rich love knows nought of ‘thine that is not mine;’
Both have the strength and both the length thereof,
Both of us, of the love which makes us one.

See Me, Hold Me.

I am, Child, Sister, Daughter, Mother, Friend, Therapist, Momma bear, Protector, Granny.

Wraps them all in a box lined with cotton wool, places my heart on top, closes the box.

Walks into Hands and arms strong enough to rest in for a while, feeling the tears washing my face.

Will collect my box just now, wipe my face, smile and continue.

Darkness, Waiting.

Darkness, blindfolded, arms secured, gentle binding, waiting.

Being watched knowing He is looking for you, that part nobody knows is there, waiting.

Strong, quiet, watching every emotion chase over me, learning, waiting.

Soft, gentle touch, seeing the smile and the tension fade, knowing You are Safe, because He know to be felt, strong, gentle and to just wait.

For Trust is earned not just given.
