Israel has no position to "allow" any people to have a state. Israel is occupying Palestinian land. Does your neighbour has the right and the authority to you whether you can have a garden or whether your children can play in your own yard?
It is extraordinary to me that questioner thinks that Israel has any such power to determine what the Palestinians do or do not do!
Since when it is wrong for an occuppied people to resist their occupier? If Mexico occupied California, whould Californians have a right and a duty to resist the occupation by any means and at all times?

Who did they steal it from? Certainly not the Palestinians as they never held title to the land so who? The British? They gave it to the UN. The UN? Certainly not as they gave the bulk of it to the Arabs and then split the rest between Palestinians and Israelis so, who did anybody steal anything from?
