When I was in high school we had to take a class called Colorado history. We had to memorize every county and county seat in Colorado! Then, each county was assigned a number. Crowley County was #36 so our car license plates had that # precede a four digit # so that it appeared like this: 36-1234!
It's funny how some things you never forget and for me high school was over 50 years ago!
Yeah, it's a bummer being away from home. But sometimes you gotta move to get work and that's the bottom line because you can't eat unless you work.
Yeah, I noticed you had included "funny" but I understood because that red color, whatever it is, did make the picture look humorous. But the look on her face tells it all. I looked real hard and I saw those "boils" and I knew then why she had that worried look on her face.
Several years ago I went to the beach with a friend and I fell asleep. The day was overcast, buy my back got so burned that it was "patchy" looking because of the severe burn I sustained. It was not pleasant.
Don't listen to what others say. You are not an "incomplete" woman if you are not married. I do not understand the cultural myths, and I speak about the Hispanic myths too, about marriage and a whole lot of other things that put the burden on women. It's crazy.
You can be a successful woman just being single. So don't get down on yourself. Keep your eyes open because there may have been a very honest and reliable man that was too shy to speak to you because he felt the same way. That is, being taken for granted, being faulted by his brothers and so on.

I don't know what the decision was and I don't care to watch these programs but I thought the girl was beautiful! If she's as good as everyone says then I think she will be doing just great because she will be signed to a recording contract and that's the bottom line.
But I do have this to say: I don't understand why you have such a hard time finding a significant other. You are so pretty and this new picture is real nice. Maybe that will attract someone for you!
@ Laz: I play congas and I love this song and i enjoy playing it with bands. The conga tempo changes from a Merengue beat to a hard core Salsa and it really gets me going when i play it!
You are right! He is a funny one and this is a funny, not to mention sneaky, way to satisfy his curiosity. I would have to say to go with your heart. However, if it were a woman doing that to me I don't think I would care to venture further in this type of relationship.
One day our Pastor was preaching on forgiveness and it got me riled. So I told God (Yes, I speak to HIM and HE speaks to me) I will be willing to forgive if the family gets together in California because I can't afford to travel all over the US because I wanted to see them face to face.
One week later my sister in California called and told me that the family was visiting and to come over and see them if I wanted to. I did and I hugged them and told them how much I loved them BUT I didn't say I forgave them verbally. They would have never understood that and it would've started a huge fracas!
Good for your forgiveness because i know how good i feel. And God gets all praise and credit!
I'm sorry to hear that you have been having a rough time. But you can still make it in life. Get on job sites and apply all over the place. I am currently working for a staffing company. It's worked for me so I am going to e-mail you with the name of that company and you can give it a try.
The "friend request" thing for me is kinda useless. If you want to be my friend then e-mail me here on CS and when we feel comfortable about it then we can exchange our e-mail addresses.
I currently have 2 "friends" and they are far far away! One is "blocked out of area" but will "view" me once in awhile and the other one I have not heard from since we have become friends.
And, "l and s", you are absolutely correct. We are not really friends with these people. And, NO, your not a snob!!
I know what you mean about cynical people. I get it all the time too. But remember what Jesus said: "Humble yourself and people will know you".
HE also said, "Do not worry about what people say about you. Because they did it to me first". "Do not seek vengeance because you are my creation. What they say about you they say it about me".
I think we all know each other pretty well so we can be free to express our happy or giving love feelings with those "little guys".
I will have to admit I don't like to see the barfing guy, the laughing guy or the forehead slapping guy to show our dislikes, but it's not my business to tell someone they are out of line using them.
