I think, the one thing today accomplished is to put another nail in the coffin of political correctness and tolerance.
If there is a God who cares about us, I give him a heartfelt thanks that I am not a Muslim living in France today because I suspect a lot of tolerance for them just went out the window.
I am thousands of miles away from where that happened, but my own local Fox media pundits are already screaming how we should react here too. God knows what it must be like in France today.

The thing about OP's suggestion that the Taliban be targeted is neither the Taliban nor ISIS exist in a vacuum. Both have the support of someone, or else they couldn't exist. Hiszballah is an official democratically elected government in one previously Israel occupied territory.
My point is, like it or not, to combat this with true combat, OP is talking about waging war against the supporters as well as people holding the guns. I am not sure how Jesus would view that. Bad enough when the Hellfire missile strike is accidental. We now propose to launch them against anyone who may someday join (or vote for) them.
The best of all possible solutions of course is for Muslims in France itself to identify the wrong doers and help them be captured and the situation defused. If that does not happen, things will very probably continue to spiral downhill for them.
I found some chuck roasts on sale, at about 3.50 a pound. Threw 1 of 4 pounds in the crock pot with a bag of steamable red potatoes. A two sitting meal. But I have a second one for tomorrow. :) Also a pork roast and I bought a few bags of those potatoes too.

The problem with 370 is they waisted a critical week looking in a place the plane wasn't. By the time they realized their mistake, most of the debris had sunk.

The third video with Kevin Richardson reminds me of Timothy Treadwell who thought he knew all about Grizzly Bears. This is how that turned out. Sadly he had convinced a woman to visit the bears with him.
I remember a time, during the early Vietnam days while LBJ ruled, when I rode with my father and he drove a station wagon into a service station and the gas station attendant (something else vanished into history) was handed a $5 bill and Dad said, give me 5. I do not recall for sure the price per gallon that day (I want to say $0.18), but suffice to say the attendant was shocked and bewildered. Five, he said, how? My father laughed and said he meant 5 gallons not 5 dollars. They both then laughed because whatever the price was that day, there was no way on earth our little 21 gallon fuel tank could possibly hold $5 worth. Two or three cars would be needed for that.
I too am sure there is a better way than fracking. But fracking is their cheapest way. And thanks to the Saudis even that (TG) is not economically viable.
We used to have one of those on CS. Transplanted there from elsewhere. She was full of horror stories about the way women were treated in KSA. I truly doubt having heard them you will find many women from elsewhere interested in living with those kind of restrictions on how to dress, prohibitions against traveling alone, no alcohol, no dancing in public with men not a spouse, etc., but I may be wrong. Oh yes, Saudi Arabia (as the head of OPEC) has made no secret of why they are doing this (lowering prices) is to destroy fracking. LoL, environmentally at least, I totally approve as fracking destroys water supplies and water IS our most precious resource after air to breath.
I like the first and last ones. Just sent the first one to a friend. Will wait a week or two before sending her the last one 'cause she spent the day at the doctor with her daughter who has flu and she may not be receptive of the humor in that one tonight.
Fairly high certainty this morning that wreckage from the plane has been found at sea and it definitely crashed about 6 miles from where it was last seen on radar. My condolences to all of those who lost someone.
Regarding the decision by the ATC to deny permission to climb in altitude above the storm. Radar maps show it wouldn't have made a difference. The plane's ceiling was 40,000 feet. The storm in question went another 10,000 feet above what the plane could have maximumly climbed to. So either way it would have been in the storm. Circling around also may not have been an option due to the storms sheer size.
