Many, many, law enforcement personnel have been killed with their own firearms. So many it is SOP just about anywhere that if he is going for your gun, you may meet the attack with deadly force.
No one (normal) ever completely forgets a past relationship. It just fades and is less important today. We can't postpone dating because we still remember him or her. Fact is our memory will pretty much always work, at least until we get really old.
What most do once the hurt eases off a little is go on some new dates with new folk. They may not be all that great, but we call that moving on.. The first few such dates may not be very good ones because we compare. It isn't their fault, but my/our ex used to do such and such. Somewhere around date 3 we stop comparing every second and instead compare just a few times an hour. :)
We know we are halfway healed when the introspective comparisons are down to once every few days. Eventually we will only think about ex's every few months. That's normal and healed.
I am thinking you are still waiting for it to ease off a little. Your parents attitude didn't help. Good that nonsense attitude of theirs has moved to the background. The cultural expectation you must have a child before 28 is just nonsense. You can have one at 40.
You seem to be a nice girl. Like I wrote, if I were closer I would probably be bothering you for coffee or trips to the mall. Maybe if we got along, ask you for a date. Where I deffer I think from the guys locally asking you is I am old enough and (sadly) experienced enough to think I understand where your head is.

Seems back in 99 he twice kidnapped his 6 month pregnant girlfriend. The second time a few days later he did it in the Lear Plant they both worked in, in Winchester, VA and he used a gun to do it. In the standoff that followed he traded her for a can of soda before surrendering a few hours later.
He got 12 years in jail, but in a fashion that is typical and much explains how he got to do such a thing again, all but 3 years of that sentence were suspended, so actually only drew 3 years for armed kidnapping and endangerment of the woman and their baby inside. The Lear plant closed in the flurry of lawsuits spinning out of that day and never re-opened.
Under US law his possession of a firearm this weekend was a crime in and of itself. So too was giving him access to ammunition. So much for a gun law preventing a crime.
This time he killed a girlfriend who had dumped him. Her new boyfriend who also drove a tow truck, and since she had a romantic relationship with another woman, he killed that person too. Ultimately he killed himself too.

If you mean the never contacted, yes, I suppose they could have blocked all contact, but I suspect it is more of a case where they put up no photo, so why would we contact them when the others all have photos?
Nothing in the Universe is scarier than a cop bar, especially if you are the only one who isn't. LoL you will probably be dead or laid by closing time with nothing in between and maybe laid and dead because of that.

Well I see one unifying thing right from jump with the ladies who no one has contacted. 98% have no photo. A lot of those never filled out their profiles anyway. To me, no photo is the same as a sign saying keep away. I will honor the implied request and not waste more time in this category.
Just another store clerk taking the goods back from the shoplifter. Happens all the time. Hate searching shoplifters. They often throw stuff there in the belief no clerk or cop would dare go there to get the evidence. Males too. Yuck.
