Sure, but I wish the better camera was already built into the cheapest phone. I think in 2 or 5 years all of the phones will have lots better cameras. I can wait. Note also I could have just as easily grabbed a real camera, the kind with film and lenses, but that would have been a pain to transfer to the computer because first I would have to develop it.
Thanks Kn. Yeah, it is healing. Been hobbling on it sans boot or cane. Still get twinges in some steps, but much better. Can see bones to the toes still exist because the swelling has greatly receded. In truth kind of dreading next month when the doctor says, 'go back to work.'
Edison, there are wild boar, but really most of them are just someone's pig escaped and gone feral. They readily cross breed with the real Wild Boar and the thicker fur coat comes in just one or two generations so you can't tell them apart, if apart they be. The like rooting up corn fields and when a big part of VA's tax income came from corn sales that meant they were a problem not wanted. We do have folks hereabouts who raise hogs for slaughter. Once in awhile one will escape and 3 years later 'boar' are sighted not too far away. I would describe them as a bottom tier game animal (if hunting them was legal here). Really boar hunting took a black eye with the Hogzilla scandal a few years ago. What fun is there in hunting someone's pet?
Ms. X has the reins. If she is interested, she will text back in a friendly way. If she is not she will just use the app and block that number and move on with her life.
That's a stunner. Sorry to hear you are leaving. Enjoyed v much chatting with someone local. Hope to hear from you again sometime. Wish you all of the best.
Would I perhaps be inspiring controversy if I asked why those against killing should be permitted to be fed? Allowing a person who is opposed to killing to eat forces them to engage in a practice they are in opposition to, so perhaps they should be denied food.
You kill 10,000 times a day (or more) on the cellular level. If you don't you die. On a larger scale we have zero food (honey being an exception) that doesn't involve killing something. It has already been well proven plants feel pain, and even communicate amongst themselves. The suffering of dying animals is just more noticeable to us, not more intense. The plants you pick they suffer just as much, we are just not set up to hear their screams. To not eat is to die. When we do die, many things will feed on us. To eat is to kill. There exists no alternative.
Noting also there does exist one religious sect which embraces this, then periodically feels guilty and most of the followers stop eating as their way of minimizing the suffering of others, then when most of them have starved to death they more or less vanish for a decade until other gentle folk join it, then the cycle begins again. LoL, in this way Darwin thins the gentle from the herd.
Jazz, if you can come up with a more efficient method than gas (Carbon Monoxide is easiest, all you need is an engine and an exhaust hose) (water drowning of a whole field takes too much water) tens of thousands of farmers would love to learn of it. Of course here it will never be complete extermination because the groundhog that makes it to a bush or a tree becomes exempt from even being chased, much less hunted or exterminated.
I am not getting it. The nun is buying zip lock baggies, some coffee, a jar of jam and some pudding. Also what looks like a small boxed bottle of Aspirin. Where is the controversy?
Long ago I learned try not to verbalize a question if you were not fully prepared for all possible answers. Always collect all possible intel before the interview.
Snook as written earlier. In this state like the mice in a house, they are classified as vermin and may be killed by any means available at any hour of the day.
Like I wrote, what inspired me to very quickly change my attitude about that women shall be untouchable was feeling the knife blade sliding off my ribs. That ended that asinine attitude forever. They want equal rights, from that day forward they got it.
We don't have that particular brand here. I can give you some (virtual) Bryer's ice cream though. It is pretty good. Try a bowl of their peach ice cream.
Me, being the next Wiley Coyote may be okay. I think I can think better and do a better job and I will get that pesky Road Runner.
Regarding question 4, they usually figure it out after watching it a few times. Grandparents, other school mates, etc. As the robot said in the Star Trek movie, That unit no longer exists.
Angel is correct. Many of the local shelters hereabouts are night time only events. Very strict rules, package searches, etc. Some are stores that will open in the morning, some are churches that have agreed on a rotating basis to house 10 or 20 a night, but want their church back in the morning. So in addition to being homeless in an area without public transportation in the morning you have a transportation issue (especially if you have children with you too). The State Park people spend big bucks chasing the homeless out of the woods where they set up camps. So do the feds in their parks.
The good news is it is rare for them to be chased from the woods on foreclosed farms and we have lots of those. As long as they aren't busting into the house, what the bank doesn't know, the bank won't complain about and usually the sheriff leaves those tent cities in the woods alone.
Really the only reason you don't see soup kitchen lines miles long in America is because of the Food Stamp program. Sadly in some places, if you went to jail for drugs, even after you served your time and were released that State will not allow you to get food stamps. They can't get jobs that earn decent money because the aps always ask, have you ever been arrested? Yeah, 10 years ago you say. The company then says, Okay sorry, next applicant. It is like that for thousands both male and female. So, we have both homeless and hungry.
The other side of the story (and CNN after a week did cover it) is the interview with the Mayor. He is alleging there was a woman's center nearby and many homeless in that park. There were allegedly some incidents with women coming and going to the center and attendance dropped, so the town council passed an ordinance prohibiting the feeding of the homeless hoping the problem would go away so the center could resume operation.
I don't mind the Subject, I just feel you haven't been paying attention because I have covered that topic already in many other places. You are probably still in your 2nd decade but we can't confirm that with you using an icon instead of a picture. Trust me, as the decades mount, so will the pile of deceased folks you knew. It isn't easy to get used to, but life is just a way station anyway. Death is the next stop.
RE: It Could Happen To You...If
Many old people run, and run well, so a better excuse is needed.
