RE: Another one gone

Well there is more than one. There was a nice lass I chatted with and just before I could ask her for an alternative contact, someone wrote some nasties to her and <poof> the same day she sent me an email asking me to write her, she was gone before I could. Maybe she reads this, waving.. wave

Several women have gone invisible for varied reasons. And I understand that. At least most of them give us a heads up first.

At least your friend left for a positive reason (finding someone). That too happens. At least one of mine here got married and <Poof>.

It happens.

RE: rate your mood in this current moment...

You owe me $60. $10 for each line. laugh

RE: Eye candy!

In this state, taking such intentional photos of strangers walking down the street could land one in hot water, so I will pass.

RE: why all the fake profiles

Yeah, but they kind of stand out by the stupid stuff they write.

Seriously, even presuming the OP is real, if he just sits there and doesn't participate anywhere, of course no one real will see or contact him.

RE: why all the fake profiles

In those 6 months, what sections of the site were you most active on? Maybe that is why?

RE: Eye candy!

Young women, with average butts by local standards here.. laugh

RE: Dating outside your faith?...

Actually Moses seems to have had several brides. Also interesting was after presenting everyone with rule 5, he then turns around and executes someone for violating the rules (i.e., gathering firewood on the Sabbath Day).

My latest annoyance

LoL, from the time I crawled under the truck till the time the little cranberry sauce can went shoooop over both ends was about 6 seconds. I quick tacked it with the wire welder in the back end so a shop can back it off to replace the pipe or do an all around weld and also sealed it with high temp silicone.

RE: naivety...is it sweet thing..or ignorance ?

Er, actually, in the Bible, Moses carved them. Both times.

My latest annoyance

Six second repair. This will hold until I can pick up a new exhaust pipe. Perfect tight fit. laugh

My latest annoyance

The ground gets wet when the snow partially melts, then at night it all freezes again. Water turning to ice expands with great pressure. Meanwhile auto traffic stresses the road from another direction. The road alligators and fractures. The next day the ice melts, the ruptured pavement subsides back down, and voila, a pothole. The cycle may repeat which causes an even bigger pothole.

RE: naivety...is it sweet thing..or ignorance ?

Well if it was a space ship, then no need for many grown animals. Just a few thousand fertilized eggs in storage and a few cows to birth them later. But of course, then we would also not need Noah or his kids for the cute tale..

Kangaroos obviously had the good luck of riding on log caught on the crest pf a tsunami wave.

It is the Tasmanian Devils and how they traveled that puzzle me, also the Dodo birds.

RE: GOODBYE TO THE TZAR OF RUSSIA

Well Bernays was decades too late in his 'discovery.' Randolph Hearst had already determined that decades before, he just never bothered to brag about it.

RE: What's left to eat?

LoL, actually I thought the glow was from the plutonium sample on my bedroom dresser reacting with U 235 sample sitting next to it. Downstairs, from the radioactive component in the old Radiac.

RE: That's incredible! Wow! I've just found out somet

It is the most read only because it is in some places their only book. As education progresses throughout the world it will of course become just one of the more widely read books.

RE: GOODBYE TO THE TZAR OF RUSSIA

Well the world is watching to see if Putin shows up for the meeting on Tuesday, but I think it is premature to speculate his days are over. We have seen such non-appearing behavior many times before from Brezhnev, Andropov and others (even Mao did it a few times) only to reemerge a few days later and put all the speculation of a coup having occurred to rest as false.

RE: Promiscuity

CH, when you close the account and make a new one with a new photo so someone doesn't recognize you, send me an email so I know it is you. :)

My latest annoyance

Snookums - Too much typing for something already done. :)

See

RE: What's left to eat?

I am sitting here, eating my pizza, surrounded by invisible pulsating electromagnetic waves, sipping hormone laced milk and smoking a cigarette and wondering if I will have enough room for some chemically laced cherry pie later. laugh

RE: THIS IS A SERIOUS BLOG

When I was 14 we moved our grandmother in with us. It made my teen years hell. She was invalid, infirm. crazy and homicidal. One had to make her put the steak knife down before approaching her as she would stab at you and giggle. We had to take the phone our of her room because she was fond of calling the police or fire department for fun and reporting armed intruders in masks in the home, or a fire for the fun of it. She also used diapers. For two years I experienced that.

Later, 30 years later, I took care of Mom who also had a brain tumor and was, er.., a little off in thinking.

I can say with honesty, the temptation did exist to warehouse both of them.

RE: International Pi Day (Century Wide)

Truly I am stunned that the Cupcake Queen is not embracing, and did not even advertise, a day named after a sweet.

PIe Day

I am told even the Green Lantern Corp like this day.

RE: THIS IS A SERIOUS BLOG

In an agrarian society where large families are prized, taking care of the elderly is easy. In a modern society where the children work minimum wage jobs 400 miles away, not so easy. Sometimes the kid gets home only once every 10 years or so and doesn't even know there is a problem. Even if they do know, with an apartment landlord who charges rent based on how many heads are there, low wages, and the parent needing constant nursing/observation while the grown kid has to go to work, what do you want the kid to do? Medicaid will pay for a nursing home warehouse. Most folks live at least another 3 years after arriving there. Some go 20. When I get that old, just shoot me.

RE: Dating Hermits.. a rant!

I know, right? That is where I stumbled...

Mind you I do not have anything but 'pen pals' here on CS, but still there are a few that I use CS with, I use personal emails with, I use Facebook with, one or two we even also talk on the phone. All that. So to have a GF, but only CS as a contact means, that is like super duper weird.

RE: Singapore 2015 March

Surely there are things to do for fun in Singapore after work?

RE: Changing

Hi Mimi. Absolutely.

RE: Dating Hermits.. a rant!

Ian, no. Go read above. the quote is up there.

RE: "COULD BE THE LAST TIME".("DARKSIDE NAM")

The picture reminds me of the GEICO commercial and Fran stepping back into light shadow and believing she is invisible. laugh

RE: Obesity is on the rise

The existence of the Internet and Twitter and Facebook insidiously discourage physical activity.
