If the mind is 'dropped' your body is dead, and if you had a soul, well you won't be involved in that debate anymore because with no mind the body dies within 6 minutes or so. What you call a soul, I call a life force. Without a body and a mind to guide it, it is nothing. To those with a mind and a body anyway. It is the mind that makes the body work, telling the heart to beat, the liver and kidneys to work, the lungs to breath etc. All that comes from the brain, which is the mind. Lose the brain and everything dies.
Of course I have. Often even before I do the deed(s). If it is an accident that's one thing. But I know the consequences, so if it is deliberate I do so with the knowledge there are consequences. If there is a God, and he actually cares what us little ant things do, then if he is as omnipotent, with a RAM and memory so large we have no word for the number of data bytes it can handle, they say, then He already knows why I did it. He either agrees with my call or He doesn't. Noting also, for the ones he didn't, a pox on him for not making it impossible to accomplish. <Yeah, that gets into the whole pre-destined thing. If you didn't want me to shoot him, then why didn't you make the gun mis-fire?, or my car not start on the day we set out to gut someone? Etc., etc.> The way the Christians have it, even God is trapped into this whole predestined thing and has no choice but to move forward with his Revelations plan, no matter how silly it sounds. Which of course makes no sense, but then very little does.
Forgive me if you want, or not, for I have sinned all over your rainbow, and being all knowing, you already know which ones I regret and which ones I don't, so there is no need to discuss anything. You know how I feel, so do as you will, which you will, and always have, as you choose.
I have had occasions while awake, when I seemed to feel the presence of someone close I knew was deceased, once or twice I could almost hear their comment about this or that life situation. Sometimes my wife and other past significant others appear in a dream, but they are not the visitations or sense of presence I sometimes have had while awake.
Money comes, money goes. It often isn't that important to me. I have had several occasions in my life when the bank account which currently has about $2 in it had well over (at least once way, way over) $100,000 in it. It tends to evaporate as life occurs. Not focusing on it seems to be the best way of having enough.

Here I am in 1962, 3 years after you graduated. What isn't shown in the photo is nack then I was absolutely in love with one of these young ladies. We had classes together in 62, 63, and 64. There were a lot of upheavals in US society in 1964 and her parents decided to move to a rural part of another country, a place I had never even heard of before, and she vanished from my life. Life moved on. A few years ago I tripped across a web site that had my old class photos (the originals lost by mom decades ago). Instantly when I saw this photo I recognized her and long forgotten feelings poured in. Sigh, I found her on Linked-In last year and have tried to message her there. She is a mid-level executive now for a foreign concern. Maybe someday she will check her in-box, maybe she already did and has no interest. Oh well. I would love to have coffee or lunch with her, but I guess it won't happen..
I have about 6 turkeys clucking away under my office window. I peeked outside and the cats are just watching them. I don't understand their attitude towards turkeys. They are pure death regarding crows, starlings, blue jays, cardinals, baby groundhogs, rabbits, snakes, etc., but something about the turkeys just doesn't interest them.
There is a false presumption in the OP, to wit that normal folks FEAR being single. LoL to that. That's like saying when you see someone sunbathing at the beach, it means they are scared to get in the water. Equally false as it ignores the 'been there, done that' scenario. Sure maybe later on, if they get bored, they will go back in the water, but for now why not soak up some sun?

It is all in the delivery and the timing. I did it to someone in a bar with a quarter 30 years ago. You just have to find someone suggestible. They hypnotize themselves. Great parlor trick.
'Domination' through migration comes in waves. Here it was the English and the Spanish first. Then the land was opened to the Irish for cheap labor and cannon fodder during our Civil War period. Then Italians, then Polish and Russians. Historically each group whined anew about the next group stealing jobs and changing their lives. Eventually they intermingled with only a few in America able to name great-great grandparents, and many with no clue as to even their grandparent's names or origins. Such will continue, and that is just fine with me.
Any young woman, in any business or government office, will always have some people think she got their by doing deeds on her back, or on her knees, or because she is related to so and so who is important. That is how some people are in their minds and it is part of taking the promotion. Of course the sad reality is sometimes it does turn out to be truth.
I once knew a very pretty woman who became an Army General during the time I knew her. I was very sad a decade later when she resigned and told the world she had earned her promotions by sleeping with some more senior generals. Up until the day I read her deposition I had not believed that of her. Does this mean such is true of all of the other female generals I have known? Not in the least.
If you would please give me a full bag of 1/2 ounce gold coins my happiness would increase. As you see I have some, but I would like some more of them.
You can watch slanted you tube videos or you can actually go see for yourself (and maybe in the process learn the youtube version does or does not speak truth). Since the person providing the video has already gone on record (here) speaking out against the religion, would anyone really expect that person to provide a non-biased video? I think not. Sands- go ten miles and visit the center near you and talk with them. I think you will truly find it boring and just like visiting any other church.
