Yes, there is some truth in what you ask. However often there are days when no one accompanies me and I do need someone here to clean the house for me or provide companionship in the wee hours of the morning. It is true someone offered to do that only a few days ago, but like you that particular person is on the wrong side of the oceans, and not currently able to come visit. Still I make do with what is available, when and if it is available.
What about the hundreds of thousands of dead civilians killed during the senseless invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention Syria? How is a drone firing a Hellfire missile at a wedding party not an act of terror?

I am of course new to Tinder. My S daughter told me to try it. The clerk at the 7-11 told me to try it. The deli manager at the supermarket, the mechanic at the Pep Boys (an auto mechanic chain), the waitress at the club, they all told me to try it. I did last month. LoL, I am horrified.
Well I thank you for that. Yeah some folk make some wild assumptions. Nothing in the original post said it was about me or my neighbor. It was merely presented as a what if scenario to see what answers popped up.
I feel the answers tell us a lot about the core personalities of the people responding.
We see responses ranging from jump on it, to leave it alone. We should perhaps draw conclusions about those saying they would and those saying they wouldn't.
