These fakes are very popular with the anti-vaccine crowd and many have been caught and arrested using them to try and get on planes or use in those circumstances where proof of vaccination is required. There are several methods of spotting fakes. My favorte case is the husband and wife flying into Hawaii who had the name of the vaccine spelt wrong. :)
Also this week 3 State Troopers in Vermont face prosecution for attempting to sell vials of colored water as fake vaccine to illegal immigrants scared to walk into a clinic where they would have to provide an identification. Investigation to see how many vials of fake vaccine they already sold to those in need is underway.
Covid itself is way more devastating to heart muscle and other organs when the virus lands in them via the bloodstream after inhalation or ingestion. Besides an abil,ity to infect and thereby kill those cells through their own ACE2 receptors (which every cell has) they also release Hydrogen Peroxide into the bloodstream which then burns other cells to death. Of course this can also burn the live, kidneys and brain cells and cause death without the lungs ever once failing. That is much more of a concern than the vaccine side effects you mention.

Al Jazeera news is reporting the Taliban is confiscating firearms from business guards and residents, going door to door looking for weapons. Residents are being told you have no more need for weapons, we will decide who needs to be shot.
There is also video footage there of mobs of people rushing military jets as they taxi to take off, grabbing hold and clinging on as best they can as the jets take off and climb only to drop off from hundreds or thousands of feet up. It looks a great deal like the footage we saw from Saigon in 1975 when Vietnamese Embassy workers tried to hang on to helicopter skids or the wheel struts of cargo jets taking off only to plummet downward and die a few moments later. My guess is once again, like Ambassodor Polk before him, President Biden wrongfully imagined a Decent Interval would happen.
