Feeding folks of different cultures en-mass is always hard. Some can't eat pork, some can't eat pork if it is not prepared a certain way. Some can't eat beef. Then you add the health things. The glucose intolerant, the lactose intolerant, the diabetics, and the list goes on.

How many remember the aftermath of Desert Storm and the no fly zones and the US dumping tons of useless MREs to feed the Kurdish people? I say useless because a mainstay of the US MRE is pork and pork products. High in Gluten too.

In the Cuban Haitian crisis the camp meal solution was beans, rice and chicken. LoL 3x a day. 7 days a week with an option of fish at Friday dinner. Okay, eggs and rice with chicken for breakfast and rice crispies or corn flakes. As camp police working 12 - 16 hours a day 6 days a week, with an 8 hour shift on the 'off' day, we ate that stuff too. <One of our 'side' jobs was to search everyone leaving for stolen flat ware (they made sharp stabbing tools from) and food being smuggled out to feed those hiding from us, and also to make sure no fights occured.> I was overjoyed at Indiantown Gap to see hamburgers (beef) at lunches 2 or 3 times a week. All of us welcomed the rare opportunities to drive to town and hit Godfather's for pizza.

RE: Good neighbourliness

Okay the LoL, the LoL was because we literally knew nothing at that point and asking for an opinion before the facts were known is silly.

RE: Good neighbourliness

How do you get amusing from the lecture icon?

So she isn't local policem then she committed an assault. That info about her identity was not available before my post. However, if she had been police, her defense would be she was just trying to help the officer behind catch the folks. Whether or not you like an officer tripping someone running away is considered much more gentle than some other actions. But she isn't an officer so that is that.

Thanks, btw that photo of you inside the Green Zone isn't shabby either.

Yes, surely you too are not going to tell me how handsome I was back then? laugh

LoL, that is a question no one wants to answer. Likewise how many citizenships can a person possess in their life before the next government they apply to can ethically say no?

I knew one man who was first a Syrian, then he became a German, then he became a Canadian, then after coming here he was making noises about becoming an American next before someone realized he had been using a fake identity all along and was as evil as they came.

RE: Where my soulmate?

After all that trouble to get the Dutch out, she picks a guy from Holland? laugh

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMORNTHEP!

I wish her a good birthday if it is her birthday.

Jim, a lot of us (for credit security reasons) provide a fake Date of Birth as it is none of a website's business what day we were born on. That's credit info and we don't post real credit info on the Internet. So take the birthday things with a grain of salt. Also if someone here knows my real birthday (I don't think any do), please don't violate my privacy by posting it. Thanks.

Hint: It is sometime between January and December.

RE: Good neighbourliness

LoL, she may be police just doing her job. We know nothing.

Anyone remember Kosovo and how Europe said no to those refugees?

RE: How can my blogs got remove immediately ???

Change your password. I can see lots of editing has happened on some of your other blogs with many comments (including my own) deleted. If you aren't doing it, then someone else knows your password.

RE: Why Bother With Laws?

Why not just abolish the laws?

RE: The Mod’s profile

A couple of them have profiles. Look through the first 100 blogs and you will find some of the earlier employees.

RE: Am confused

The only time you can properly begin with Am is an interrogative followed by the letter I. Am I not understood?

RE: Animals' Souls

You have two totally different questions there.

Do animals have souls? Sure, why wouldn't they? In fact one concept for dead pets is a variation of the Bifrost Rainbow bridge. When you climb it, all your deceased pets will be waiting there for you and everything/everyone is reunited before entering Heaven.

Yeah, Dark Energy and Dark Matter. It may be life force. Do souls become Dark Matter is a topic being explored elsewhere along with is Dark Energy just life force?

RE: Who loves housework?

My understanding is all women love it. From the time they are small girls they pretend they are playing house with their dolls and doll houses. They grow up dreaming of the day they get to buy their first broom. Secretly, although they don't like to admit it, a sign of true love is the husband who buys them not a new car, but instead a better vacuum cleaner or floor mop. Look how much money the female half spends on cleaning supplies. They wouldn't do this if it wasn't a love of housework and cleaning at the core of their souls. Every real man knows nothing turns a woman on like mopping up around the toilet seat or scrubbing the stains out of his drawers. Those trivial pains the OP whines about, she does it to herself. No man would bother because we know we don't love housework like the women do. This is why we leave it to them. True Love.

RE: What could you do?

It happens. A lot. The price we pay for having more and more people. The roads get crowded and everyone becomes late. Sometimes we have to work 12 hour days to finish the work. As long as the pay is good, that is okay. Sometimes the pay is not so good so we get a better job.

RE: A haunting story with pictures and music

I enjoyed watching it, but I am sad at the tattoos because of what they foretell. Beyond that very well done and my only critique would be no pictures of her having children or a mate and a family. A very pretty young woman.

RE: A follow-up of my kitten blog

What you did not speak of is taking him to the vets for his shots so his life would be long, to be checked for parasites that can infect and live in his heart and liver (the shots from the vet can handle them), flea spray and shampoo, you did not speak of brushing out his fur. You do those things for a cat and he or she will love you always. How long did this cat last without a human who cared to do that? Two or three years? My cats live decades, because I am not heartless and understand long life is about more than just food. The front door to my house is open today for a breeze, but they lay on the floor beside my feet because they know I am not one of the heartless humans who thinks throwing out some food is all they need.

Cats may be Human's oldest companion. There is debate as to whether or not the title belongs to the dog or the cat. For both skeletons 5,000 years old have been found buried with their human companions. Once upon a time it became a partnership thing, a thing of mutual trust. Each caring for the other. The dogs chased the wolf and tended the flocks and in return we fed it and it slept by the fire when it was cold and the Man and the dog talked. The cat killed the mice and rats that infested our granaries, and in return we let it sleep by the fire and fed it. And of course the cats love to snuggle with those they love and to play with our children (or us too) and some talk to us and alert us when something is wrong. Trust and caring, a two way street.

Well I guess you will have to wait until you have a real PC to view the other videos. That youtube decision is beyond my control.

Capricorn, yes, I liked it too, and I was very tempted to add that to the selections. I will consider your response a request, and here it is.
