If you head up I 68, between Cumberland, MD and Frostburg, MD there are a bunch of signs saying 'Warning, the area ahead experiences unusual weather.' It means what it says too. Drive with care. Sudden blizzards on 80 degree days, tornadoes with no clouds in the sky, Sudden thick fog on hot, clear days, etc.
In Del Rio, Texas I saw this sign. I have never understood what it was trying to say. I looked for the oil and never found it. That sign was there the whole 2 months of my assignment.
Someone who has been held down while a trepan knife was used to cut a hole in his/her skull. Then they were released and are open minded with their brains plainly visible through the hole in their head. That's a more fun definition than the preceding ones. :)
The true abyss has no bottom. So therefore I never understood why Uriel had to stand guard there to keep folks/things from climbing out. It seemed to me that if it was bottomless, they would always be falling, and before something climbs out it must reach the bottom first, but perhaps there was more to the tale than the scriptures relate.
Based on observation, how good your life is at age 80 or 90 seems to be very much related to whether or not you were smart enough to begin a daily regimes of regular exercise by age 40 or so and continue it past age 70. I played a set of tennis the other day with a man in his 90s after watching him whup a 40 year old. LoL, he whupped me too.

We are working on it. Some progress with a Rhino (cold) virus variant that causes sterilization in mice. We can but hope someone militarizes it and lets it loose.
An office I worked at long ago, we used to put McGyver on our conference room tv when it came on and race him to the solution. Truly some of the improvisations we came up with from what we could see were in our opinion much better than the stuff the script writers would show a few minutes later as his solution. Sure once or thrice their solution was the same as ours, but usually we much better or faster ones.
Sometimes where I go can be to me way more interesting than who I go with. Of course some insecure people get upset when I am more interested in where I am than I am in talking to them. I think it is just because they don't understand why some places are interesting.

Well I hope the stuff moves on out. I didn't know that there was a recall on US Divers MK I tanks, or that the recall ended in the 1990s until I read about it last night. Likewise the newer tanks are much, much cheaper than SCUBA tanks were in the early 1970s.
Once upon a time Schwinn was a US bicycle company. The 1973 Continental was made at about the peak of that time. A few years later a US President and changing tax laws convinced Schwinn to move production out of the US. It went through a dozen new owners. The 1995 Cruiser model (an official 'retro' copy of the 1949 - 1950s Cruiser design my wife remembered from her youth was actually made in Taiwan. Even so, both of them cost way more than $200 when new. Of course today with the flood of el cheapo bicycles from mainland China selling for about $150 (some even marked Schwinn) even $200 may be too much to ask. I spoke with the owner of a local bicycle shop and he summed it up by saying, 'once upon a time Schwinn made good bicycles. Today it is a name available to the highest bidder to stamp on whatever kind of junk you want to sell be it a bicycle with bad welds or a plastic golf club.' The good news is the Continental was a solid bike made while the company was still turning out good products from their Chicago factory. Likewise the original Cruisers (aka beach cruisers) were the ancestors of the mountain bike and although the Schwinn quality started dropping like a stone by 1997, the ones made in 1995 were fairly faithful to the originals and are still sought after by folks wanting to actually build a sturdy, quality mountain bike. Lots of mods can be done to those. So I think $200 is a good price for either one.
The tristar tricycle has had a half dozen makers since my mom bought hers from Zephyr. Even Schwinn makes a (Chinese made) copy called the Meridian. The Meridian retails for about $350. The current holder of the actual Tristar name is a company called Torker. Their current Tristar (which primarily differs only in that the Tristar basket is now black instead of white) is about $400 without a motor. I seem to recall Mom paying about $500 back in 1995. So I think $200 is a fair price for one only ridden once.
Now if I can just get someone reading the local Craigslist to buy the stuff..
It is probably naive of me, but I like to speculate that all the bloggers in South Africa have had get togethers and all of them have met each other and know each other well. Much as all the bloggers in England or Ireland do.
Well glad you liked it, though I never heard of it. Hmm no need for me to ever see it, if it makes it to America as you have told us everything. I kind of agree with Ian though, paragraphs would be politer. I am curious though, why do you pretend you are in America? Are you envious of us? Is India that bad? Or is it just part of the unemployed actor pretense?
I agree which is why I spent the day burning all my evil money in the fire pit in back. I am happy to report I burned about 100 pounds of currency today. Now that I am happily poor I will try to find some true friends.
She has been crying for help for a long time. The problem is this is a dating conversation site, not a psychiatric help line. I am not qualified to deal with the issues and never was convinced she was even real.
