The impacted pipeline carries gasoline from various refineries to most of the East Coast states. There are multiple similar pipelines that deliver to the mid West and the West Coast, etc. All of them use SCADA systems. Us oldsters remember the 1973 Arab oil embargo and lines at the gas pumps two miles long. This attack is not that all embracing. However in my neck of the woods most gas stations ran out of gasoline today. President Biden on Monday changed the ICC rules so that gasoline trucks can now fill up directly at a refinery and make deliveries to other states. Of course the numbers of gasoline tankers available is woefully inadequate to meet the needs of automobile owners in the North East. I am running a 2005 SAAB and I don't much go anywhere, and I have 100 gallons of back up fuel (this is a farm property) stashed so it will.take a few days or so before it directly impacts me. Hopefully it will be fixed before then. If not fixed real soon you are going to hear some howls from the folks doing those daily 30 - 80 mile each way work commutes. Luckily the diesel fuel pipelines were not targeted so the trucks carrying food continue to run.
I was pretty disappointed in tonight's 'The Dream' episode. The ending was exactly as I thought it would be the second she realized who was with her. I don't know why they keep having these little sidebar episodes that add very little to the main story.

Sigh, 25 years from now de-classified documents will probably show it was made at the obsolete Palm Island Animal Disease Laboratory by a govt. contractor and it got our here in the US. Clearly the thing to do was have someone sick go to China with the military games, then blame China when the outbreak got bad enough. Right now the efficiency rate of the various vaccines in 90%/ This means if 100 vaccinated people are exposed to a Covid rich environment only 10 of them will sicken. That is a lot better than 50 or 80 getting sick.
Fatal side effects are hovering about 1 out of every 100,000 vaccinated. The greatest good for the greatest number. 1 of 100,000 is an acceptable loss rate, far better than 10,000 dead.
Speaking as semi pro YouTuber, yes, you can pay some groups to submit 20K likes or fake subscriptions a day to your videos. Once upon a time that did fool YouTube. FB still allows it on your company support FB page. You may also for a little more money hire a few hundred positive reviews or comments. Of course when Google took full control of YT they realized this was costing them revenue by allowing ad revenue distribution based solely on likes. They now have both dark web spies and algorithms designed to detect fake reviews and likes and punitive actions (including suspension or exclusion) have been done on YT in some instances.

There are two space station crews docked to Earth's only space station today. Today is the first time both crews are using SpaceX brand rockets which are both docked to the station. Since one crew went up after the solar eruption we can presume their Earth basrf controllers believe the shielding on the station is adequate.
