RE: EVERYTHING is made by light and sound frequencies

Not bad. thumbs up

RE: "ABORT THE MISSION!(REPEAT)ABORT THE MISSION!"

Did Witchy go with them?

RE: Thanks...

Well hopefully you have spare covers for him, because eventually he will wear out.

RE: obesity and the new regulations

Try potatoes this spring. Homegrown tastes lots better.

<Witchy is gone??? She been here so long her picture frame was rusting. Why is she gone?>

Congress debates Indian tribe recognition

I was hoping our 'King' could explain the apparent split in his 'Hebrew' tribe, but I just saw a comment he wrote on another person's blog, and it says, 'profile deleted,' so I guess we will not hear from him about this.

Ekself, what an astute commentary, you cut right to the essence of the complaint. laugh

Congress debates Indian tribe recognition

I am so confused. Someone else here already instructed us they are the same. So if they are the same, what's the problem? laugh

RE: obesity and the new regulations

So if I buy a banana, someone will put another label on it?

RE: "AFTER THE AFTERMATH"

Officer Wilson has done as I forecast, announced an intent to resign.

RE: The percentage of motivated and unmotivated guys i

Young men are full of BS, so are many young women. Older folks often know what works, what is good, what isn't, because they already been down many of the trails. They also (usually by late 30s, early 40s, have started seeing friends or associates dying off. This fosters a growing awareness in most that life doesn't contain enough time for BS in their relationships. Some don't get that, but most do.

So when an older person dates, yes, we do go to nice places, show the date a decent (hopefully good, but never less than decent) time and do the things we know work and hopefully we present a minimum of BS in our speak as we know our intended is probably just as tired of things that weren't fun or which were pointless. Older folk also know there are many others out there and if the person you are dating is still stuck in their 20s and all the baggage and nonsense associated with that, well, like a streetcar, there will be someone else along shortly. It isn't necessarily that the older person is bolder, more that they see no advantage in wasting time, as they might have done 15 or more years ago.

RE: "AFTER THE AFTERMATH"

LoL, and they complained about it too. As if other folk had done the burning and destroyed their own kid's futures.

RE: "AFTER THE AFTERMATH"

We have seen it in most riots. They burn and destroy the business in their own neighborhoods. It has been 50 yrs since the DC riots and NE H St. corridor still has yet to recover and isn't a shadow of what it used to be. Similar in SE Anacostia. In NYC Harlem and Memphis, whole blocks burnt to the ground and never were rebuilt. The business in those areas are gone forever. Took a lot of culture and history with them. Can't blame the owners. Why rebuild if they gonna burn you down or loot? Also many are under insured because of higher costs in such places, so no money left to rebuild anyway. Then a year or two later the same folk who spoke so angrily or the ones who did the deeds, complain there are no jobs in their area and somehow it is magically the fault of the people elsewhere who did not burn down their own neighborhood. Trust me, they gonna be whining and demanding tax dollars from everyone else to rebuild the same place they burned.

RE: Are You Worried?...

No need for DVDs. Thousands of TV channels, everything from CBS to HBO and FX available for free as a streaming video online. Also many old shows. Watching Season 2 of Under the Dome now. So many TV channels from other lands, all available with some great shows. I may never bother to rent a DVD again.

RE: Hot debate, I need your vote

I see it a lot. Sometimes the women I know take your side (which I do to, ex is ex) and some like his side where they keep a toe in the doorway so they can always go back. That view type don't last here long.

RE: What is the best line you have heard from a Man (p

Mimi, would it work with yellow or pink sheets?

What about polka dot?laugh

RE: "AFTER THE AFTERMATH"

A cop is expected to sacrifice his life now and then. That is part of the territory.

The officer stopped in the middle of mowing his lawn when he got the word, grabbed a suitcase and he and the wife are now in hiding.

RE: The mike brown aftermath

Er, actually they do use the term Asian-American, so I don't know where you are coming from on that.. laugh

India - Hanging Girls Not Murdered

But my question is, because the earlier autopsy went 180 in the opposite direction, do we accept the new findings?

When you live by yourself

Bspoken then welcome to my Universe. LoL
cheers

Prolly a few flakes?

RE: Cars

Well if you have any syrup dregs in the bottle, fill it with boiled water, add a little yeast, then put it in a closet for a few months. Then you will have something others may drink too. laugh

RE: "THATS THE WAY IT IS"..(2)

Nam, why not call the next blog, out of the dead zone? Or is that idea already in the dead zone? laugh

When you live by yourself

Bspoken, are you actually in Johannesburg or outside the limits in rural suburbs?

When you live by yourself

To the question, the closest (currently unoccupied dwelling) is somewhere between 3/16 - 1/4 mile.

Found paw prints all over the front steps this am. Not terribly clear due to some melting before I went out at 11, but bigger than my cats paws that is for sure.

Kal why do you and Itchy hate my stove? It is honest dirt. laugh

RE: Thanksgiving

LoL, what the heck does Divorce have to do with the blogs Thanksgiving Day theme?

Hey, on that topic on this Happy Day, how many of you guys know the true origin of the Holiday and that it was an assassination plot against Massasoit which turned into a feast when the intended victim brought more warriors than Miles Standish had anticipated? How many of you know of Samoset or Squanto? Or the incredible coincidence that ultimately brought forth Massachusetts? How many know the Thanksgiving Day tale of a happy feast taught in schools was a total fabrication written during the American Civil War by the same woman who wrote Mary Had a Little Lamb?

Darwin rules. Happy Thanksgiving Day to all surviving descendents. :)

RE: Are You Worried?...

They have decided to make a sequel to the Independence Day movie. I am a little worried it may not be as good as the first one and who will be the star of it?

About as serious as I let my worries get these days. conversing

RE: Easu and the history of Edom

Only one comment is possible.. Yellow Bird

laugh

RE: It's Thanksgiving every day!

LoL are there any single persons cooking a whole turkey today who will NOT have leftovers until Christmas week?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY to everyone.

When you live by yourself

It is, truly.

When you live by yourself

Mimi CS says that out of the 100 or so online now you and me are about the only two bloggers online.

Mimi, I promise I ate none of the package. Not even after cooking what is inside the package. :)

It is a sauce you pour over the frying chicken, cover then simmer. Cooks down to a syrup glaze at which time the frying chicken is also done.

I wouldn't even think of being here without a sharper sensed companion to alert me. That the current companions love eating bugs, spiders and mice, but also kill snakes is just icing on the cupcake. laugh

RE: "THATS THE WAY IT IS"..(2)

Mimi, yes. Twice that has happened. One a girl/woman from China and one from Nepal. I was a little startled at the question. I wrote the one in China I was just looking. She wrote me back, you want marry me? So I blocked the crazy lady. Six months or so it happened again and this time I just ignored it. laugh

RE: Easu and the history of Edom

Well, maybe you are a yellow Hebrew or a yellow Edomite (not to be confused with a yellow Cannanite, or a yellow Anakite). Only the King nows.
