Z - classic case of blue chip suddenly going belly-up
And yet - this may be the time to buy. I suspect a lot more fraud will suddenly be uncovered with other car companies and VW will end up smelling if not of roses, slightly less bad than they smell right now!
K I know you are one who works weekends for extra cash, but no worries if you don't want to comment have a great weekend yourself and I've told my sister she just has to get another villa much closer to the CS action instead of being 3 hours and more away from most of the people I'd have liked to meet!
Well, the blog seemed to be about friends, then turned to meeting someone. Very different things. Yes I have a few friends on here. Only actually MET one of them but I have talked on skype to several.
Crazy, where you been!! Been waiting for a lively blog to jump up!
I've lowered my standards so far in the last year that hell I could match up with anyone. ANYONE. They only have to be handsome, kind, rich, clever, amusing, witty, tall, charming, faithful, loyal, and madly in love with me, and I'm happy.
Depression is evil, it twines tendrils around you and drags you down into hopelessness and makes you feel the world is grey, and will always be grey.
Nothing I can tell you that you haven't heard already so I won't say any of it. I lived in the grey for 2 years, not far off your age, and thought it was a life sentence, but it wasn't. You CAN escape. It isn't as easy as staying there in the grey, but there are colours, and always will be, waiting.
As soon as there is a choice, you've had it. That's the universe saying no, option A isn't the way, let me tempt you away with an option B.
Jobs, loves, opportunities - when you can't decide, take neither. If you can't bear the thought of giving up one of them - that's the one to take. Never choose the sensible one, though. Wait for the universe to show you the one you should really be taking ...
Follow your dream - I did, and was not crowned with brilliant success but I had the best time of my life. Wouldn't change that 3 years for the world even though I am now back in full-time work. The BEST thing about being older is that you have the freedom to take chances - family is independent, no-one relying on you, you can jump in boots and all.
Still paddling in that river, stars still in the eyes ...
Oh, just throw it, man, and step back out of range! This is no time to be mucking about!
Old joke about being faced with a lion - the guide said to the tourists "if this happens, don't run. Crouch down and pick up a turd and throw it at the lion."
"What if there isn't a turd to throw?" one tourist asked nervously.
I was convinced you were quoting lines from a song, but I can't find it. May have been thinking of this, though. He's a bit more cynical about it than at first glance ...
Haha Ken's was one of the first comments, and it was HILARIOUS. Unless of course it included my cousin in which case it wasn't hilarious at all but deeply disturbing ...
Anyone play the stock market?
Ob - shame? Oh dear, is playing the market plutocratic and socially revolting? I'll never get this PC thing right.
