RE: how do you get on with your next door neibour?

yep, i know sweetie, there is no comparison but you got me thinking (thanks) and i figured there are similarities - i will work on a fuller answer later on.

Braveheart is one of my favourite all time films, yes, i have seen it lots of times. One of my favourite books though is Boudicca (Boadacea), she was queen of an ancient british tribe, the Iceni i think, and got a really hard time from the romans who were a bit like we are being in afghanistan at the moment except the end game wasnt to empower us to self rule.

Anyway, as i said, will send a fuller reply soon.
by the way, what are you going to do in further studies - your insatiable quest for knowledge would be well suited with social sciences if you ask me. hug

RE: can i have some good luck vibes and thoughts please

this has brought tears to my eyes sweetie - i really thought all this was fading into the past.
i dont do praying even though i was brought up as a catholic but i will sure be sending positive thoughts to you and the rest of yours for success in his safe and speedy recovery hug

I truly find great difficulty in seeing how this - "My profile on other sites has had to include short & polite mentions about not being "attracted" to black men" - could in any way whatsoever be construed as polite rolling on the floor laughing

There was a similar post yesterday about how to deal with unwanted mail or attention - best done privately most agreed - or are you trying to run some kind of recruitment campaign? barf

RE: Why is the G8 not news in the U.S.?

I have just been reading on google; Germany. New Powers for the 2007 G8 Summit - and it really is a wonder any news is getting out to anybody, anywhere in the world. They only tell us what they want us to hear anyway.
I passed by the Gleneagles site when the summit was held there and the police presence was pretty astounding but seemingly, it pales into insignificance with the measures being taken in Germany.

Bush bows out of final G8 sessions

RE: why would a 60 year old man THINK i would be interested?

none of what you say excuses a public condemnation to the extent you have displayed - are you looking for others to fight your battles or what - i suggest you look up the word NO in wikipedia or something

RE: why would a 60 year old man THINK i would be interested?

erm, er, well, take a hike isnt exactly the most sensitive rejection i ever heard - and in public too - shame on you lady SHAME scold

RE: why would a 60 year old man THINK i would be interested?

but the sort of luck you are nurturing here you will probably have a godawful crush on a 29yr old rolling on the floor laughing

RE: why would a 60 year old man THINK i would be interested?

nope its definitely not us that are too sensitive - many people responding here are considering the feelings of somebody who they dont even know - if karma is real which i think it is, then i wish you lots of love and understanding when you get to 60 cos i reckon you are gonna need it hun

RE: why would a 60 year old man THINK i would be interested?

i think this is very cruel and unkind - being only 7 yrs from 60 myself I would hate to get such a reaction scold
