Well they might get a pic of the Gunny Sgt kicking his body off the fan tail of the Aircraft carrier USS Vicennes just at the time, the Captain ordered the screws to be reversed.

bin Laden has caused the US military heart aches for the past 10 years. Actually longen.

But in all honestly, bin Laden got more respect in his burial at sea than any of those he ordered killed on 911 or after. His alQeada has use IEDs that are indiscriminate in detonation. They have used torture as means to silence tipsters. They have conducted public executions, as in Daniel Pearl. All with due process and trial.

So I say good riddens......if you all wish to fight the conspriracy theorists...that massing from birther, truther, nutter (my form of nut)and wikileaker....be my guest. Life is and I have other things to do.

I hope they got a foot print of bin laden to compare with his birth certificate baby foot print. Because the global conspriracy theorists are beginning to mass for a circling charge on the White House (ala the old Indian attacking the settle wagon train).

bin Laden was not the head of a nation state. Therefore does not get the rights of the Executive order extended to the execution of foreign leaders.

He was the head of a global terrorist group that has killed 10,000, since the 3000 of 911. That is not counting the deaths in the Iraq and Afghanistan done by the Taliban and alQeada of Iraq groups.

The best you can say he was..... the head of a para military force in the days of the Afghan Taliban....hence does not merit the status of a national leader.

Positive reprecussion from the bin Laden compound raid are starting to occur.

As alQeada members are giving themselves up. A long time alQeada
member, Khaled al-Qahtiani called the Saudi government and is surrendering.

Others alQeada in the Yemen are said to be fleeing the country.

So maybe our OP can give us his opinion to if these other alQeada agents should be set free because of the Navy Seals pulled the trigger on bin Laden?

Al-Qahtiani is the brother of one of the coordinators of 911. So likely has a bit of intelligence to share...happily share with the Saudi. See if gave himself up to the US....he might find a prolonged stay in GITMO and maybe would be taken into custody by the same Navy seal team that was on the bin Laden raid.

Now they are upset and angery because they gave bin Laden the code name of Geronimo.

The they ..are the American Indians ...and more specifically is Luell Tuell....staff director and chief counsel for the Senate Indian Affairs.

She says that Geronimo was 'one of the greatest American Indian hero' (more on that later in the post). That this is devastigating to children that consider him a iconic hero."

First Tuell is member of the Nez Pearce tribe of the norhtwest. And not the Apache tribe that Gernimo led in the 1880s against the Americans. So her standing to make comment on this is? She is American Indian.

But the stuff is flying from a number of very sensitive Indian parties on this....a few quotes.

Stephen Newcomb writing for the Indian Country Today...says...
"Appartently, having a Afro-American in the White House is not enough to overturn the 200 years of American tradition of treating and thinking Indian as enemies of the United States."

And

"It is attempt to label native Americans as terrorist." Paula Antoine of the Sious Tribe said.

The term 'Geronimo' goes deep into US military history. In WWII, it was the battle cry that American Paratroopers use to shout as they left a aircraft. More recently the use of 'Indian country' is common to mean one is a hostile area.

They both came from the American military respect of Geronimo as a leader a hostile Indian tribe. The 82nd, 101st Airborne, the 517PRCT and other American Para units have shouted the term Geronimo to conquer the fear of flinging themselves out of low flying aircraft in the darkest of nights into a hostile area of unknown forces. If that is not respect for this American Indian leader, I don't what is.

Do they do it all they time? no. Psychologically what has been learned about doing this feat of fear conquering, is shouting a name of bravery at the moment of a death defying act....kept many a raw recruits from freezing at the aircraft door.

But the picture that Tuell, Newcomb and Antoine that Geronimo and his tribes of Apaches were not brutal and were solely fighting a pure war of defense to the white presence in the South West is also ascewed. Geronimo and his Apaches were one of the more brutal tribes to white captives. They set standard for torture of a white soldier taken alive. And white settlers faced a gruesome time of prolonged torture prior to death at the hands of Apaches. Is that not what bin Laden did to Daniel Pearl? What he had done to some the 82nd taken prisoner in Iraq? Yes on both counts.

It was a sister SW tribe of the Apache, the Navaho, that were recruited as the code talkers used in the Pacific theatre so well against the Japanese. So precise was the Navaho language of a military in nature, that this Language skill was used extensively in the Island campaigns.

All I can say to Tuell, Newcomb and Antione that feel this way. Instead of celebrating with the country and much of the world on bin Laden capture and death. They choose ignite a age old war of white American and Native American.......over a trivial issue of assigned code names.

Code names come from the Pentagon's Joint Chiefs and are reviewed and approved by the White House that is micro managed by one President Obama, whose Press Sectretary says has full control of all the details to this bin Laden mission.

I have a feeling that our days of having Pakistani overflight rights with Predators is limited at this point. The Pakistani are none to happy about this raid.

Musharref...trying to get back in the political limelight of the country....is critical of the raid...said that we should have told the Pakistani Government of bin Laden's location and let them do the raid. (Like they did not know his location).

Joe Biden just came out...and said it was amazing the the mission did not leak prior to the raid. Gee Joe, the only people that knew this was going on were Americans. Had any leaked it, that is pretty bad criminal charge. None of us want to be a court room with Holder.

Bringing me to.....Pvt Manning....now being held without a trial in Leavenworth. A military high security prison. He has been placed into the general prison population were he gets to daily enjoy the PT exercises.....like log lifts and prolonged calenstics. Now his wiki leaks supporters will say that the Leavenworth PT regime is torture on the good Pvt. At least he was not waterboarded.

I kind of reminded me of all the Bonnie and Clyde houses that sprang up after the two banks robber were gunned down. Or Jesse James confidants and hide houses that mushorromed in number after he was killed.

The other thing I picked up. The Paksitani seemed to be dragging the fallen and left Helo up on the compound wall. They had propped it up and it laying on it tail against the wall.

With a little engineering, they can logged it into the wall or the house.....like it was a suicide bomber attack on bin Laden's complex.

What ever...they are going to make this house into a shrine for bin Laden. We might have buried him at sea.....to keep that from happening. But the Pakistani win this one.

Having the seen the fair city of Abbottabad several time now from Goggle Earth Satellite imagery......I amazed at the number of bin Laden Compounds that have sprung over night...in two days time.

Google just upgrade the imagery to a May 3th overflight. So far....there are at least 5 different locations....including the actual location of the Navy Seal raid.,,,that now are posted as the 'bin Laden compound'.

One is designtated as the "final shoot out location of bin Laden".

Another designated site was the most elegant villa in the area....as the bin Laden Compound. Move over General, bin Laden is sleeping here tonight.

No wonder the Obama administration is getting its bin Laden story confused at this point. Was bin Laden holding a gun? Did he use his wife or children as human shields? Was it a umbrella that bin Laden reached for? Prior to the fateful shot?

By the time the Obama administration gets back to Abbottabad to find more info to clear these and 1000s of other questions up....every civilian complexes will designated as bin Laden Compound in goggle earth. Making it even harder to collect the info to the events. I suspect there is going to be advertising campaign from Abbottabad for tourists to sleep in the same house were bin Laden was killed.

Of course the big question is....will the Obama administration release the photos? Considering that they are already in most every middle eastern newspaper, what more harm can be cause?

From Saudi to Afghanistan to Indonesian to Morocco....bin Laden death photos are circulating in the Islamic world. According the White House Press Sectretary because of the graphic nature of the images the White House now debates the release. The ladies on the View might have a tough time holding lunch down if they have to see this. He also went on to say that the President is involved in every detail of this issue. (Thank you Mr Press Sectretary for taking some off the weight off the President on this call.)

A recent Pew Polls say Obama got a 9 point bump from the bin Laden operation.

Pro bin Laden Street demonistration in Pakistan and Palestine have occurred.

Various Islamic groups are criticizing the bin Laden operation because instead of taking him alive.....he was killed. Here is a guy that kills 1000s of Muslims with out due process.....and they want a trial for him. Go figure. Like it would have to be done by Sharia Law.

The number of Islamic countries that contacted the Obama administration to offer congratulation on the bin Laden operation is countable on one hand.

REP King confirmed last night....that the vital piece of intell on the bin Laden operation was gained by waterboarding of SMK.

Increasingly from Pakistan....is criticism to the bin Laden operation. It was learned that bin Laden was not armed when he was shot and killed. The US Navy Seal thought he was going for weapon.

Look for a complete melt down of the Pakistani and US relationship soon. Hopefully not a nuclear meltdown.

Do some finiacial accounting on the bin Laden take down.

Since 2001 and 911, the Federal government has spent 1.28 trillion to fight terrorism. By 2020, this will 1.8 trillion. With bin Laden dead and alQeada headless for a time, can we reduce in future our expenditures to fight terrorism?

I think that the first answer here is....you have all the rest of them out there....elZhararki and alAWalki and others....and in time they will be at it again. They are promising more already.

But assuming the second round of take down from the bin Laden intell (one was already done on a alQeada camp in Afghanistan).
We can really put a hole in their operations. Like gutting it.

bin Laden wanted to financially break the United State and the west. It was one of his goals and objectives. We have taken bin Laden out of the game of life and terrorism. We cannot let him gain in a win in the future with more financial melt downs.

I have always support the best for our military and law enforcement. Give them what they need to get the job done. And get the job done safely. Bring em home. But there is point to military and law enforcement expenditures, were the bang for the buck is lost. The better body armor is not needed to stop the round. The newest electronic gizmo is only a tad faster in speed than the old. But the with the same function. And the same applies to homeland security.

As the government down loads and transfers the info on the 10.....yes that is 10 computer taken from the bin Laden raid. And beings to act on the intell gained. There can come a point were Islamic terrorist from the bin Laden group have been minimized. Is it tomorrow? No. But in the future. If other have not sprang up to replace it.....then we should reduce both military and homeland security spending. Allow the consumer economy regain its strength and viberance.....and defeat bin Laden one more time.

A fact here.

The vast Federal gov't of the United State has so many irons in the fire, (things going on)...that the full truth is not ever known.

Politically both sides try to find the most damaging on the other and make it public. This they do under the honest concept (or mis concept) of a government that is operateing within the check and balances.

You have honest men and women, on both side of the aisleway doing the best they can......with the information that they
have.

And.....did you hear....the Pakistani gov't just criticized the Obama ordered bin Laden mission. Said something about national soverngeity and act of war when military aircraft fly into air space without approval from the local government.

Kind of sounds like the Pakistani were really protecting bin Laden, you have to admit. A complex in their home city of West Point and only 150 yards from a military complex. Even you have to admit....that Pakistan has played both sides against the other.

Dude quit spitting it out like you know it. alQeada was organized in bin Laden Peshwar compound a year after the Russian/AFghan war ended. By that time the US had left the region. Ask bin Laden;s first wife and Richard Bear of the CIA.
They were there. She was there. Bear was out of the country on assignment to Lebanon and took most the CIA with him.

I know. The graphic nature of the pics has the Obama administration on the decision fence. They know if they make them public it can go bad. And if they don't make them public it can go bad.
