Fortunately I do not have to take any prescribed medication....I say fortunately because I dislike taking even over the counter pills, for headaches for example.
However, I´m also sceptical of the benefits of vitamin supplements. If one has a healthy diet they too are simply not necessary, and the strength of these supplements is usually not high enough to make a profound difference to one´s health.
I do agree with the OP though that people should take responsibility for their health and ask lots of questions if their doctor is suggesting any type of medication.
I´m not afraid of dying, as long as it´s quick and painless, but I am afraid of getting any serious illness which may affect my life.
I think middle-age is the time when one starts thinking seriously about these things, our peers are being diagnosed with long-term illnesses, and despite feeling sorrow and empathy, in reality most of us do not want to experience it ourselves.
Of course it´s normal. Men often don´t seem to have any notion of age difference and give it their best, sometimes embarrassingly so, shot.
I was young once and experienced older men come ons, (actually I still do but they are pretty senile now!) my daughter experiences tit now, and we both agree that it is yukky, but funny in some ways.
You are quite right, except I don´t really think that women are less "visually stimulated" than men as you say. However, women do tend to be more accepting.
Additionally, middle aged or older men who have already fathered children are not necessarily seeking out young, capable of child bearing women, despite the biological urges you refer to. They do often desire arm candy though, which is physically acceptable in today´s model thin world.
I have never wished for nor been attracted to a very overweight man, (nor a really skinny man incidentally) so I cannot deride men who say they do not find big women attractive.
There are however men and women who find the larger size appealing, so everyone gets a shot no?
I don´t pay much attention or believe in it either. However, I have found that the compatabiity or incompatibility in my relationships does seem to match with the star sign info out there.
I love my job teaching English to adults. I´m also an examiner for The University of Cambridge, (which provides internationally recognised qualifications for learners of English) and although this is only during exam times, it is equally enjoyable and gives me variety in my work.
I suppose I´m fortunate, I have nobody breathing down my neck, as the academy I work for gives me free rein to decide with my students what will be most effective and productive in their classes.
Perhaps that´s the key, being trusted to do a good job without restraints. In addition, varying the day to day work, though I realise that isn´t possible for many jobs. I do a little voluntary work interpreting, a few private classes, and some educational book reviews which all maintain the overall job satisfaction.
Well I don´t think anybody hates you as you say, but most people are visual, whether you like it or not, and can make their own minds up about how physically attractive another is.
Fortunately we all have different taste, so everybody gets a look in.
RE: Would you rather have an alcoholic partner or a Pot Head?
Neither...and I never have had fortunately.
