I agree in many ways. However I do feel as though I am dating at the moment in my own online relationship. I certainly do not have any interest in any other man, RL or online.
It is so much more than the relationship I have with my many acquiantances.
Fabulous!!! My lovely students took me out to an Irish bar. Irish bars in Spain are a poor imitation, but suited the occasion! You knpw, loud English music with football on the widescreen, and Guiness on tap.
I said....Thank you my birthday was fabulous. I received lots of lovely pressies from my students, one, a beautiful PINK necklace. Actually different shades of pink and mauves.
I can´t answer for Amaryllis, but dressing in a professional manner for a woman, does not mean dressing like a man at all.
I wouldn´t sit in front of my students wearing a low cut top, just as the male teachers here wouldn´t teach wearing shorts or vests.
A trouser suit with a crisp blouse looks professional and feminine in my opinion. Especially if it is accentuated by a neck scarf or some nice jewellery.

Difficult to explain.
