RE: Malta... again...

Lagoona, Qawra is 5 minutes away by walk from Bugibba. It overlaps Bugibba.

Yes Qawra is good, but it is identical to Bugibba. It is the same area, same prices, same sea facilities same everything!!

And a few minutes by car from St Paul's Bay where I live, which can't be bad!!

RE: Malta... again...

Oslo, one last thing, as opposed to Rusty, I specialise in baby sitting for adults, anything from 18 up to 65

RE: Malta... again...

Hi Oslo,

You have been given very good advice already, so I can only add a few details.
Sliema, St Julians are the top places to be in. But they are also top money to pay for.
On the other hand Mellieha is a bit far off from the central activities, and the public transport is absolutely horrible.
The other thing to be careful about is when hiring a car. Apart from the fact that we might be driving on the other side of the road to what you are accustomed to, the car leasing/hiring people can play a lot of dirty tricks about the insurance of the car, usually asking you to pay a deposit as a guarantee of the "excess" in case you had an accident.

If you need help when in Malta, you can always phone me. I can always pick you up in my half-track!!

RE: Choices Options Suggestions

Very well written Rusty. At least you have no rust in your brain or your English! Prosit, oops Bravo!! oops, not even that is in English!! What's the English equivalent? Oh here it comes....Well done!!

RE: copyright (in case anyone still wondering)

What got you into gear to write all that FOS?

Rest assured that nobody is going to copy your name. It sounds so beautiful ....Flower of the Snow......only to be surpassed in beauty by your photograph!

And nobody is going to copy that without you noticing. You are unique Flower. Just keep it that way!

RE: Use two words to describe youeself

PROUD LION is just fine for me.

RE: swiss women

Well said Sweet Miss. I really knew that, but could not resist mentioning you, since one contributor on Cs called you the Swiss Miss.
I don't know if he was fond of you or not.

RE: swiss women

Don't know much about Swiss women, and am in no position to contradict you on that, but there is a contributor on this forum called the Swiss Miss, who is smoking hot, or so it would appear to be, because her name is Smoky. In physics I learnt that hot objects emit smoke because of their temperatures.
Or maybe she is called Smoky because she smokes, but I don't know the brand of cigarettes she smokes either.
Do you think people who smoke feel warmer, being so close to a fire??????

Let me take shelter Smoky, before you bring out the club to hit me!!

RE: Assistance Required - when do I ask to meet her?

Do you have any "gut" feeling?

If you do, you know best what to do.

After all, the scope of corresponding with somebody without a picture is to get to know her in person. The photo on the Cs may not be her own. So see if she matches her picture, ifshe has put up a picture at all!

RE: Awesome Choice

Yes indeed where are you Awesome, the beautiful?

RE: Where can i find the best god price

I never knew that GOD had a price, within the EU or outside the EU or within the universe for that matter.

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

You say you could'nt help it, but why do you have to say things like that to someone who has never been nasty to you?

May I ask you from where you got the impression that there are girls who sponge off my money.

Forget it. Thank you for your comments.

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

Wonder who is on wine. I never prasised Lisa. I read her despicable comment, the read yours. You can see what I wrote to Lisa, and that if that is praise to you, it is not praise to me.

I was still angry when I answered you, but in my comment there was absolutely nothing grave or offensive.

How do you like my picture?

RE: Zee french

The French have enough firsts.

They have the
FRENCH REVOLUTION

FRENCH LETTERS

FRENCH KISSES

Did I hear anything else?

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

Yes I was furious about what Lisa had just written. I tried to moderate my reply to you, which I did, because it was just fair comment, nothing more.
I don't know who was sitting on something hard! I was sitting on my cushioned chair as usual. The fact that my name was mentioned means that it was ALSO meant for me, but it is over now. So enough mountains were made out of molehills. Let us smooth them out, OK?applause

RE: Zee french

Where on earth did you get this impression of all things USA?

Good thing that there are very few people who have the same vision as yours.

Are you a communist by any chance? Such anti American feeling can only come from poor socialist or communist indoctrinated minds.

Enlighten us poor pro American lost souls Hi Fi

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

Dear Brunette,

I don't know what upset you so much in my comment. I did'nt say anything to hurt you. I just said that the comment could provoke reaction, to which you reacted. I don't think I have anything to apologise for. Where did I offend you?
You said you are blunt. So was I but I did not take offence at your post. Why did you take offence to mine? And why, did others, including somebody who is very knowledgeable like Smoky follow suit.

With regards to your comment about my being discourteous to women, you could'nt be more wrong. But then you don't know me. And you are wrong about me being single. I do have a girlfriend, and many, believe me, many CS female members who correspond with me regularly, and they are from all over the world, not just from Malta.

Cool off baby cheering

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

I was'nt nasty at all. That is my way of being moderate. Read again at what she wrote, and you will see it was a decent reply.

RE: What women thinks of men

Whatever excellent command you have, you definitely don't show it in the way you write your English. And if you teach it, God save your pupils!! They are never going to learn English.
Now go on pick up courage and insult me as much as you like, but your English is appaling!!

RE: Bricks or Boquets

Yes you did Awesome, and what sweeter dreams can I have? dreaming of you would be the sweetest of sweet dreams.

Oh, I don't know of any castles in the tropics, so if you know of one, buy it. It is the ideal place to relax.

RE: Bricks or Boquets

Hi Awesome!!, I thought that even castles were built with bricks....at least the ones in England are!

But whatever you do, please don't leave me, or I will die of a broken heart..please...please, I will buy you a castle or London Bridge if you fancy it, but please don't leave me!!!doh

RE: What women thinks of men

Hey Smoky, can you really decipher "ghost" language? Is that written in English???

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

True I don't Jacko, but judging from her reply, which is the yardstick I have in hand, sorry, but she is neither!

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

You are so sweet Flower.
If only all women had your sense of humour, your intelligence and your looks (congrats for your latest photo), the world would be a better place.

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

Thank you Lisa. Your opinion of me is reciprocated in you.
If you can't take a joke, then you should not waste your time replying either! Shows how touchy some womwn are. Thank heaven there are the cleverer ones too!

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

Ok Brunette, some people can smell a joke a mile away, some cannot understand why something is said sarcastically, while some cannot distiguish why something is said to amuse people, and why not to provoke reaction, just like it did with you.

RE: What women thinks of men

With you being a ghost, and with your most shocking English, they'd be definitely scared off, I tell you, and run for shelter!!scold

RE: Bricks or Boquets

Bricks or bouquets?

I choose bricks

Bouquets wither, bricks dont.

So the next time you want to send me something, send me a brick.

Brick after brick, I will build my house.

RE: Why men don't write advice columns...

"Why men don't write advice columns"
To whom would they address them???

Men know it all, so they don't need advice.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Looking for a friend to get married to...

Are you looking for a friend, or for a marriage partner?

You might be confusung the ladies if you don't clear up that statement man!!
