Manolito, if you know of a herb that bestows oblivion, go and get it and plant it in your garden. You can then cut a piece every day and remain in oblivion forever. I think the name of the herb is called marjuana. You can find it anywhere, but you can buy it from shops in some countries.

As for me, I am no dedicated follower of fashion. I like to wear elegant clothes, although I never seem to want to throw anything away. My friends (girl) tell me to throw the older stuff away, but I keep wearing it from time to time, as it returns to fashion after a few years
Hi Flower, sorry to have to contradict you on a little point, but in English they say making love TO somebody not WITH somebody. This is Queen's English. I perfectly understand what you are trying to say, namely that you make love together as a couple, not one to the other, but the use of the word WITH is wrong in English.
The problem is that neither onions nor women have anything tangible or physical that induces tears. Maybe, as you say it is my lack of understanding their emotions that makes me cry. But I would say it is more like that they don't understand my emotions and my feelings for them, that makes me cry most!. By the way, you look very cute in your new photograph.!!
Hi Awesome! It is always a pleasure to read your contributions. the advice I have been given about peeling onions and not crying is to keep them under water while doing this. I don't know if I can do the same with women while making love to them, to avoid getting tears in my eyes!!
Your reply is very philosophical, and the advice you have given me is good advice.Pity that when we learn everything in life, what we have to do and what we should never do again, we die soon after, and our experience would have served us very little. We learn how to live too late in life to be of any use to most of us.

Yes yes yes. It is the most beautiful thing that could happen to anybody. For me, the more I feel in love, the more things finish in tragedy. In one case, we never saw each other again. In the other case, she went abroad, and we lost all contact (both episodes happened in the 60's, not with today's mobile phone technology) One was already married, and did not want to leave her husband for anything in the world, although she was in love with me too. The last episode was again a married woman with two children, who wanted to leave her husband, but I did not want to take three up in one go. The last case lasted for two very intensive weeks. All were great, short or long. Love at first sight is like being struck by lightening, and remaining alive to enjoy every moment!!

Arguably yes, but for me it is the wheel. Some answers like peace, are irrelevant. How could onybody invent peace, for example? Peace is a state, not an invention. It has always existed. Inventions have not been there before they were invented obviously.
During my 34 years of marriage, I never wore my wedding ring. I never felt like a married man either, although I was always faithful to my wife. It is just that I felt I was not obliged to tell the world I was married. That was only my business.
Is there anything about Americans that irritates you so much HiFi? What is it exactly that upsets you so much about the USA? Would it be that it is not Germany the country that champions the ideals of democracy and of unconditional help to nations who need it. Or is it maybe that the USA is indeed today the only world power, uncontested and unequalled in everything, although undoubtedly, not whatever the USA does is beyond criticism. On the other hand, could you possibly imagine a world order without the USA?

So no lies, no cheating, no robbing, no nothing that I don't want people to do to me, especially infidelity with my partners.

In life you always live with regrets, not so much for not having done something, but for not doing enough, like not loving enough someone who has passed away. I think what you mean when you say that you want to live the present and not the past, is that you try not to repeat your mistakes, and to do more of what is expected of you to do. What is wrong is brooding over our regrets, and not simply using them to make ourselves better. For me the only regrets are things that we cannot make up for. There is always time to do what we have'nt done yet, if we want to.
