RE: Is going part of the way.....?

That is a fantastic reply Smoky. Glad to have you back.

RE: What do you know

No dear Smoky.

We said that we don't know what we don't know how to do because it is impossible to prove where you have not been. Got the sense of it?

We know that there are things that we don't know, but we don't know what they are or how many things we don't know. And bet you don't know either.
You might know SOME of the things you don't know, but not all the things that you don't know. So read your own trick question carefully.
And rephrase!

RE: What would you....?

Practically whatever I did in the past, especially armed with the knowledge that I have today, that my past was not worth living for at all....and that there is another life that I always wanted, but was afraid to choose, instead of the stereotyped life I was always taught to choose, not to fall from the trodden path.

RE: What is the most ingenious toy in the world?

Hey Smoky, next time be more specific please. Just say if you are referring to adult toys or to childrens' toys.

Then you want to exclude the top two toys from the list. Why?

But let us go with that too.

What about a hammer and chisel for cold women? You know like the ice breaker for drinks?

RE: Need Advice about WHAT Norwegian men want ...... ?

I agree with you Brunette, till the line .......it's not really that difficult.

I think that this is all a very subjective matter.

I would not be able to do that so easily if I loved that person, even after knowing that it was not always ok with us. After all you only wish for what you don' or can't get!

Think about that!

RE: What do you know

Perfectly said, Killingtime!

RE: FORTUNE TELLERS...

Oh, and she told him he was having trouble with his wife, who would be leaving him in six months time, and that he was going to meet somebody from town abc, and her name was so and so, and that he could make sure she was the right person because she was at present married to X and had two children named so and so.

And it all happened to the dot

RE: FORTUNE TELLERS...

If I knew, I would be one of them. At least regarding my own future!!!

No I don't know how they do it, as I know that there are some very big quacks and some very genuine ones.

One fortune teller, really she told no fortune, just the future, was absolutely amazing. She had to meet a friend of mine who believed he needed her help.
The appointment was at a bar. She had never seen him, and he had never seen her before. As soon as he walked in, she stood up from her table and called him out by his first name. Seeing him amazed, she continued to ask him if he was the guy she was supposed to meet....who was married to X giving out her name, and who had one male child aged so and so and who was called xyz.
He was so shocked he nearly collapsed, at which point she helped him sit at the nearest table.
She told him amazing unbelievable things, like that she saw "death" hovering around him. At which point he was completely terrified and petrified. Two weeks later he had a terrible motorcycle accident and was saved by miracles.
She had told him the story of his life including his time of birth, not just the date. He had to ask his mother about this, because he had not known this before himself. And she was spot on the hour too.

How do they do it? God knows, but if I knew, I would do something about my present and my future. Of that you can rest assured.

RE: do u enjoy being..

There seems to be a virus in the programme

RE: do u enjoy being..

Photography is publicity. Unless I am caught in the proverbial "pants down" situation, yes I love being photographed. I am not very photogenic, but then I don't think that any photograph does justice to the photographed, in person.

Now that I am single again, yes why not? The more people see me, the more chance they can get to like me.
OK guys I know what your next question is...so why no photo next to your profile?
Answer. Can't get the damn photos down from the digital cam downloaded to my computer!

RE: Fathers Day

Brunette, you are lucky to have such a father. Many of us do too.
The tragedy is that I know of a father who has a beautiful three year old daughter, who just does not want to hear about her. His mother goes to visit the daughter regularly, but he never does, and he has never admitted she is his own, although there is irrevocable proof of this.
Yes I wonder too how they feel.
Well I guess this one feels better if he forgets, because he is a monster.

RE: Do you believe....

Do you think we are all time wasters?
Most of us believe in what we are doing.
Others like me joined originally to get to know as many nice people as possible, and to chat.
Later I started contributing to the forums.
Now I am happy as I am, knowing that potentially, if I wanted to persevere and insist with one or two people, yes I would have found what I was looking for.
As luck would have it though, I also met somebody else not from the website.
Now it is up to me what to do.

RE: "Where were you, when..." No. 4

How curious can you get?

RE: "Where were you when..." No. 3

Can't remember where I was, and don't regret not remembering. All I remember is that in my opinion America was not the place I particularly cared to live in, because of all these problems between whites and blacks.

RE: "Where were you when..." No. 2

I remember quite distinctly that it was not a school day.
We lived in a big house in Mosta, I still own the house, and my mother came in one morning, the time must have been around 9am. I had just gotten out of bed when she called me to see if I was awake.
Then with a saddened voice, she told me that they had shot Kennedy.

For her, it was a real tragedy. I was also shocked by the news, but not half as much as she was, I was about 14 years old then, and the world reserved many other surprises for me.
So I guess it was one great big sad news, but I was prepared for much more and much worse, even at that age.

RE: younger women

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OSLOJENTE. I hope you have had a lovely day.

RE: Good afternoon

Can we know what a sweet girl like you, does for work?

RE: Kissing with eyes closed/opened?

I think this thread, like many others, is putting the emphasis on the wrong subject. Kissing with eyes open or closed is secondary to kissing with passion, with love, with expertise.

If I really wanted to concentrate while kissing passionately, I would also close my eyes, but that does not mean that one cannot enjoy the most passionate of kisses with eyes open. Kissing involves the lips, the mouth and the tongue, not the eyes, but most important of all, it involves the feeling between two people. No feeling, artificial kiss.

RE: What about Capricorn women .. ?

Capricorns, oh boy! The mountain goats. I am dating one right now.

Sweet, steady, faithful, but extremely stingy, and extremely secretive.
Are all female Capricorns like that? and what exactly is it that they are hiding? Can anybody enlighten me?

RE: What are you cooking today....curious???

Sorry for the mis spelling. BETTER not BERRER in the previous mail

RE: What are you cooking today....curious???

Berrer than just a carrot........to eat, Brunette????????

RE: What are you cooking today....curious???

I'm just cooking fried meat with garlic. A spot of Worcester sauce and some soy sauce add to the flavour. Served with french fries and some delicious Maltese crunchy bread.

You are all invited for this virtual dinner

RE: Did your last relation start in good or bad weather?

I rediscovered where one of my dearest friends (girl) was after many years apart, and the weather was good on that day when we met again. But on our first date, it was very windy, with tendency to rain, and pretty cold.

RE: You wish you were....

LUCKY

If I had as much luck as I have worked and suffered, then I would be a very happy and contented man now.
I mean in the sense of the Midas touch. The lucky touch anything and it turns into gold. I touch gold and it turns into lead. That is my luck, or lack of it.

RE: what gifts men like to receive

Gifts come at particular times of year. So I would imagine that the main dates are Christmas, New Year, Easter, birthday, anniversary.

For Christmas a turkey would do, although you can rest assured that as an animal lover, I would never eat it. I would love to set it free.

For the New Year, a diary together with an expensive perfume would do. My preference is for Ferrari Noir. Any one out there who did not know what I prefer is free to send me this at my home address.

Easter is time for Easter eggs. I would'nt mind receiving one like the birthday cake, where a blond hatches from the chocolate egg.

Birthday is a special time of year. So it is a special occasion requiring a special gift. A red Ferrari would do. A maserati would also be acceptable. Nothing less than a Corvette would be accepted.
Naturally I would have to have my favourite girlfriend sitting in the passenger seat!

Anniversary. I am stuck here. I'd probably want nothing more than a kiss.

RE: i am curious

The bank manager, because I pay him interest on my overdraft.

RE: manners of speaking

I prefer not to say anything when I can't think clearly and concisely.
Since I have stopped drinking alcoholic beverages for over thirty years now, there is no chance of me getting "tipsy not drunk" like Marti. So nobody is going to get hurt unintentionally.
I don't need to be drunk though to give someone a "piece of my mind" and that can hit really hard!

RE: Weather

Ghidlu Brunette. Where is he seeing the sun? He is probably too busy killing time, that he is not realising that the sun is there all right but above the clouds!

RE: Bumper Stickers, Any Interesting Ones or Your Own???

That was a good one Smoky.

Pity I could not get one for sale here.

I would stick it on the nuns' van tomorrow morning.

RE: second hand

Only women. But then you don't have to purchase them. They come gladly for free. They bring their bags of experience and tales of woe with them too though!
