I agree with you, but you are obviously talking about the legal immigrants. Just imagine the havoc that the illegal ones are causing, and Governments are asked to accept them and give them legal status.

It is very important that you make a distinction between dreams and being sensitive to certain things.(spirits and presences)

Mild weather, low crime rate, opportunities for foreigners especially in the hotel timeshare industry, moderate wages, yes high standard of living, good entertainment venues, and for you, the men are very Italian like....woman chasers and latin lovers!
Food is not as good as in Italy, with the exception of very few restaurants. Friendly people, and although English is the second spoken language, many have some knowledge of Italian, mainly from the Italian TV which is beamed on Malta.
Maybe you could make money here teaching the locals the Liscio and the Mazurca!!

Beggar finds his way into the king's kitchen, where he sees a magnificent chicken specially cooked for the king. Being dead hungry he manages to wrench off a drumstick and eats it. The beggar answers that all chickens have one leg. The king is enraged, but the beggar insists that all chickens have one leg. So the king asks the servants to take him to the chicken house. It is the evening, and all the chickens are preparing to sleep in the usual fashion, one leg up. "See" said the beggar, "how all chickens have one leg, your Highness?" The king clapped his hands, and all the chickens brought down the other leg. The king exclaimed "see how all chickens have two legs?"

Being rich means to me affording a more comfortable lifestyle. I have a soft spot for magnificence. So it is not the quantity that matters to me but the quality. Of course a magnificent house, or rather a town palace, a country house, a penthouse and a converted farmhouse are all on the list. Not five cars but as many as the occasions demand. A 4X4 for the country trips, a Ferrari for the evening party invitations, a Rolls for those special VIP invitations, and an ordinary car luke a Mercedes or Jaguar for the daily errands, oh and a Smart for city parking.
My woman would have to be beautiful and shine like a Christmas tree with diamonds and jewels. As to whether she loves me or my money, I would have to make sure she loves me for who I am, and I will give her whatever I have in return....so she still gets it all!!
What would I need all this magnificence and money for if I had nobody to share it with? SO my most prized jewel would be my woman, and only one woman.
I'll tell you why the good blokes don't bother to write 1) because when they do, they get no reply 2) because you have age brackets for the men you want, and most feel excluded because they do not fall within that age bracket 3) because most of the decent and pretty women prefer jerks to nice guys 4) because often women judge a man superficially and not for what he really is 5)because there are so many fake items in the profiles, that I have never been able to trust anybody 6) because writing to most is an entire waste of time, because since the posting of the profile, they would be in a relationship 7) because a lot are cheaters and they just want to tease and put hopes up 8) can't remember any more, but I am sure there are more reasons!!
It is very difficult to trace the original owners. At most one has the name of the previous owner, but not the aquaintance of the individual. There are other things that I know the previous owners of, and these are the items I have inherited from my family and my wife's family. My wife's things are very special, and they bring both good and sad memories, but the important thing is that they are in safekeeping with me.
I dispense of nothing, but then I cannot. They are all a part of me. Each item has been bought for a purpose. It is a part of my life and my history.
All the things around me form the person I am.
What do people think about me as seen through my things? Could'nt care a hoot. But most would appreciate that it takes a lot of space, effort and investment to be able to source a little bit of everything that make life a little spicier and exclusive, like period furniture, 150 year old grandfather clocks, old machinery, classic and vintage cars, valve radios, windup horn gramophones.
Looking at my collection is a walk through history from about 200 years back to the present day. And what a timewrap that is!!
When I feel too upset with the present day world, I retreat into the world that was.
I only feel those for child molesters. I feel disgust for a lot of people, but this is aimed at their actions and not at themselves.
And to think that there is such a thing as "contempt of court"!! Who the hell do they think they are, just because they have a judicial function in society.
