A very subjective argument agreed, Smoky, that of how much enough money is really useful, and how much is too much and superfluous, but I think that most of peoples dream to become rich is to fulfill the ultimate dream of doing something with that money, and not just looking at their bank account or counting their notes in the back yard. Apart from the obvious superfluous reasons like relaxing and going for holidays, I would put that money to good use like opening a museum for my car collection, and for my vintage radio and gramophone collection, so that these items get preserved for posterity. If I had more money,I would put my son's military vehicle collection and never ending militaria collection on display in another museum. I think those are good reasons enough to persevere in getting rich enought to do them.
I would love to make my dreams come true, and have no fear of failing. It is just that when I fail to make one dream come true, I dream of another to make it come true. Then there are the recurrent ones, where failure is only a relative thing, and I keep trying till my last dying day...like that of becoming rich, rich, filthy rich. How come then there are so many filthy people, and so few rich ones??????????????????????????

In my younger days, I would have said one of those giant cakes out of which would spring out some six foot delicious blond with green or grey eyes, long hair and so shapely legs!..holding a bottle of champagne in one hand, and the keys to her bedroom in the other.
I still yearn for what I have never had, but today I would settle for much less like spending the whole day with my favourite girlfriend, and be happy with what I got, a gold bracelet with a dedication on it that reads To..... I love you...from......07-08-07
I would be really concerned about the future of my kids if I DID go to India!! Do you really think that India is better than Holland or any European state?
If you think so, then why choose a European girl?? Why not choose one from your own country, with the same cultures as you?? Kindly leave our women to us. They are accustomed to living a good life in their own country, and they surely don't need a man from some far off land to get married!!
I perfectly agree with you about bicycle seats. You say the designer of the right seat will get millions for it. Here you have created a chance for yourself to become rich and famous. design the seat, and I'll find a firm to make it for you. Is that a deal?
Sticking up one's crotch should be quite exciting. Maybe that is where the designer can make the millions...designing a seat for women in the shape of a hand...with the fingers in the right position. Or maybe two hands ! Each hand holding half the bum!! The permutations are endless......!!!

Perhaps this is a misconception from this side of the globe, but the Caucasian race thinks that black (read coloured) men and women are "hotter" than the average whites (with exceptions of course). So the older Caucasian male, as you rightly say, who has tried it all, would not mind some extra heat from a coloured hottie. No offence meant, just popular hearsay!

Well Flower, not so negative most of the time, just that I have devoted so much time and a huge part of my life to my children's upbringing, that I would like to have some time for myself, and not having to do it again with my grandchildren!!. But I suppose that I am talking like a person who does not have something. So he does not care for it. Once I'll have grandchildren, I'll probably get to adore them , like I do with my children.
No Awesome, the post was not meant to be religious at all. It was meant to explore how man thinks. Some say, probably rightly so, that God created Man, but some also say that Man needed a leader, a ruler, somebody well above him, to run to in times of need, and created GOd as a protector, somebody above others to help out in time of desperation. Man in fact paint and picture God in their own image and likeness, because in reality none have ever seen God. So Man has given God an image very much like the human image. In this way, Man has created God. But did God create Man before all this happened?

I can imagine that being a grandparent can be so cool, but it can also be a great headache. You thought that you could stay in peace at this stage in your life, when knocking at your door, are your children asking you to babysit their 3 month old, or a one year old or a five year old, or what have you....and you have to do it, because you would rather do it than see your grandchildren taken care of by an unknown babysitter!! And by the time they come and pick up those children again, that precious Chinese vase that you had for the last 40 years, has been reduced to pieces...the child fell against it....just by accident of course.
Oh by the way, I do accept babysitting jobs for adults...anything from over 16 to 60 !!! Medium low fees. Requirement..good looking bodies!!

Pity though that I won't be the first king of Malta, because Malta fell under the jurisdiction of so many nations, and I am sure some were kings. The last one was Queen Elisabeth II, but she was not a king. So I don't have to worry about gender issues.!!
