Don't leave the site. You may still want to periodically write in the forums. I get the scammers all the time but just report them and delete them. Sometimes, I save the scammers email and then email it directly to another scammer and watch to see if they open the scam mail I just sent them. Oh the joys of one scammer receiving another scammers email. I can just hear them saying "WTF is this?"frustrated

I have to LMAO when I think of how they must react to reading the emails sent to each other by me or even when one scammer inadvertently sends another unknown scammer a scam letter. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: FOR PALESTINE

This is from the Kristalnacht Forum and I feel that it is very appropriate to remind every one again since several here enjoy beating up Conrad, Bebe, Lonelycowboy and myself and others for supporting Israel's right to exist. For when the radicals take over your country and you are personally affected, you will then understand what Israel has been up against. Consider yourself lucky if your country has been there to protect your lives from this form of new world order. Close your eyes to these radical groups and they will be there at your doorstep sooner than you think. Spain learned a hard lesson.

"No one should forget lest the events of that era come back to haunt the world again. Should Israel ever fall, the new generation of fundamentalist terrorism that has been spreading throughout different countries of the world will take a very firm foothold everywhere and the new radical fundamentalist order will be the norm everywhere and directly affect many different nationalities and religions of people."(Kristalnacht Forum)

Update with an excerpt from article CNN Nov 12 09

MADRID, Spain (CNN) -- The trial started for eleven suspected Islamic militants Thursday morning in Madrid for allegedly plotting suicide attacks on Barcelona's metro last year -- assaults that were to be followed by attacks elsewhere in Europe.

The suspects "were preparing and organizing a series of terrorist attacks in Europe that would start in Barcelona," prosecutor Vicente Gonzalez Mota wrote in a document outlining the charges.

Four of the defendants arrived in Barcelona shortly before the planned attacks, at least two of them from Pakistan, the prosecutor said, and the group allegedly was under the influence of Baitullah Mehsud, a Pakistani Taliban leader of the radical Tehrik-e-Tabligh movement.

Mehsud was to make demands after the Barcelona attack, and if the West refused, further attacks in Europe would have followed, the prosecutor wrote.

The Tehrik-e-Tabligh movement of Pakistan later claimed responsibility for the Barcelona plot on its Web site and in a video, while criticizing the presence of Spanish troops in Afghanistan, the prosecutor wrote.

The prosecutor wrote, just before the trial, that "The discovery of the organization and the preparation of the attack was known, thanks to the statement of the protected witness, identified as F1."

The prosecutor said the informant joined the Tehrik-e-Tabligh movement from France, later received military training in Pakistan and was finally sent to Barcelona, where he met the other suspects, learned of their plans and quickly informed authorities.

The alleged leaders of the cell were Mahroof Ahmed Mirza, who was to choose the place and time for the Barcelona attacks, and Mohammad Ayud Elahi Bibi. The prosecutor is seeking 18-year prison terms for them as leaders of a terrorist group and for possession of explosives.

More than 300 suspected Islamic extremists have been arrested in Spain since the Madrid commuter train bombings that killed 191 people and wounded more than 1,800 on March 11, 2004, the interior minister has said.

On Land and Sea
Elbit Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries have branched out from the air to jointly develop the Guardium Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). The Guardium UGV, which has been supplied to the IDF, is an advanced, third-generation UGV based on the Tomcar platform, which is an off-road, highly maneuverable vehicle for rough terrain and challenging topography. The vehicle features autonomous operation, allowing for precise steering across pre-defined routes programmed in its mission profile.

Guardium is capable of extended and continuous operation, and contains systems allowing for all-weather continuous transmission of visual, audio and target data back to the operator, without risk to human lives. It is also able to autonomously detect and avoid various types of obstacles, enabling real-time course corrections without the intervention of an operator.

As the first operationally deployed autonomous UGV system, Guardium is already a subject of great interest worldwide. It is also scheduled to take part in security missions along Israel's borders.

The Israeli Navy has also begun deploying a highly maneuverable unmanned craft called the Protector along the Mediterranean coast. The Protector is being used particularly off the Hamas-held Gaza Strip in the south, and outside Lebanon in the north where Hizbullah terrorists operate. Built by Rafael Advanced Systems, the Protector is one of the newest systems acquired by the Navy and can carry a wide range of payloads, including cameras, sensors and weapons. The ships are operated remotely from land stations and can carry out a wide range of missions while evading detection. "There are areas that the navy preferred to first enter in an unmanned capacity before a manned capacity," a navy official said.

Aeronautics Defense Systems manufactures SeaStar, an unmanned maritime operations vehicle featuring capabilities for the entire range of Naval and Coast Guard missions. The SeaStar is highly autonomous and can perform a wide variety of missions, and can even be operated in hazardous sea conditions.

Unmanned Vehicles to Protect Against Nuclear Threat
And the next big thing? Israel is reportedly developing a high-flying, long-endurance unmanned infrared sensor to assist in those critical minutes when it may be forced to spot incoming nuclear warheads amidst dozens of decoys sent to confound national missile defenses. A prototype of the long-range, high-resolution target-discrimination sensor has already been tested aboard a business jet under a classified Israeli-German program called “Bluebird.”

Don't believe that Israel is so dependent on the U.S. for their weapons. Israel will wind up supplying the world with their advanced weapons, not the other way around.

Israel Leads in Making and Flying Unmanned Vehicles

by Yehezkel Laing
Nov 11 09(IsraelNN.com)

Israel has become a leader on the cutting edge of the unmanned vehicles industry. While it started with aerial vehicles, the country has expanded into developing advanced crafts for the skies, sea and the ground.

“He Who Saves One Life…”
Perhaps due to their concern for human life, it is mainly Western countries that have embraced the new unmanned vehicle technology - especially the U.S., Israel, the United Kingdom and France. The chief non-Western nation to embrace the technology is India, which receives most of its drones from Israel.

“We’re not going to send our soldiers out to be ambushed,” said one IDF General Staff officer. “It’s that simple. And the technology being developed and tested today allows us to both protect our troops and enhance our precision strike options, all at the same time. ‘No signature’ means no troops. If you’re in [Palestinian Authority-controlled] Tulkarm, you may see balloons or unmanned aerial vehicles, but you won’t see targets until we choose the time and place to attack.”

Multiple Advantages
Steve Rodan from Middle East Newsline, a Canada-based news agency reporting on military and security developments, writes that there are three main advantages to unmanned vehicles: “Firstly they help protect human life by taking humans out of the battlefield. Secondly, they never get tired. A regular pilot is often exhausted after a mission. The UAVs don’t have that problem. They never get weary and can be used repeatedly. Thirdly, they can be used for boring patrol duty where often nothing happens for 40-50 days and military personnel often lower their guards.”

And it’s not just airplanes. Israeli companies are also busy developing unmanned helicopters. Israel-based Steadicopter has produced an unmanned helicopter using patented technology that enables the chopper to stay stable while airborne. The developers say that the unmanned helicopter can be used wherever manned helicopters are currently used, for a smaller price and with no danger to human life. It can also take the place of unmanned fixed-wing aircraft.

Meanwhile, the unmanned aerial vehicle known as the Mule is being built by another Israeli company, Urban Aeronautics. It has the same attributes as a helicopter, but is more stable, cheaper, smaller and less noisy. The IDF Medical Corps is interested in the Mule in order to evacuate injured troops. Its narrow width is its most valuable benefit, given that the Mule is able to land in areas that would normally be unreachable to other vehicles. As of now, the Mule can hold two injured persons in a lying down position. In the future, there will be place for a chaperone as well.

UPDATE:
Housing Minister: Netanyahu Hasn't Even Authorized One Building

(IsraelNN.com) Nov 11 09

'No tenders have been issued for building inside or outside the settlement blocs, nor in east Jerusalem,' Attias said
Despite all the talk about continued building in settlement blocs, Housing Minister Ariel Attias said Tuesday night that since becoming Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu has not authorized construction of one new home in Judea, Samaria, or neighborhoods of Jerusalem over the green line. "No tenders have been issued for building inside or outside the settlement blocs, nor in eastern Jerusalem," Attias said in a television interview.

Attias' comments contradict statements by Netanyahu, who claims that hundreds of homes in the settlement blocs are under construction. According to Netanyahu, Israel has not implemented a building freeze in the settlement blocs, and intends to complete construction of some 3,000 housing units that have already been approved.

In an interview last week with the Al-Hura, an Arabic-language news station operated by the U.S. government, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Netanyahu had, in a recent meeting, agreed to halt all construction over the green line. He also agreed not to issue new permits for construction.

RE: FOR PALESTINE

Perhaps it is best to ask if people have lineage or religious ties to the middleast instead? And identify what you consider a semite in order for anyone to tell you if they are a semite. Otherwise you won't get an appropriate answer to the wishy washy question that you ask Conrad. No wonder he won't answer you.doh

Conrad asks someone appropriately "What is your connection?"

RE: FOR PALESTINE

This is for all who think that the Palestinians in Gaza are so wholly innocent of crimes to humanity. And think that the rockets and mortar can do no harm. The UN ignored this attack completely when slamming Israel.

(IsraelNN.com)Nov 4 09' A doctor from Israel dramatically confronted United Nations Human Rights Council Judge Richard Goldstone with critical comments on his report’s accusations against Israel and its virtual disregard of her own testimony. He ignored most of her questions.
Dr. Mirela Siderer, an Israeli doctor who was brutally disfigured in 2008 by a Hamas rocket fired from Gaza into her Ashkelon medical clinic, asked him, “Where were you when Gaza attacked my medical clinic in violation of international human rights and humanitarian law?”

Hamas terrorists traumatized southern Israel for eight years with thousands of rockets and mortars before Israel launched its three-week Operation Cast Lead counterterrorist campaign in late December 2008 and early January of this year. Judge Goldstone found Israel guilty of war crimes during the brief war. Since its conclusion, Hamas and allied terrorists have attacked Israel with more than 250 additional rockets and mortars.

The wounded doctor also wanted to know why Judge Goldstone ignored her testimony given during the commission’s fact-finding sessions. He ignored all of her questions, except after the following:

Dr.Siderer declared, “I feel so humiliated. I testified in good faith. You sent me a letter, ‘Your testimony is essential.' Why does my testimony appear only in passing? My name was mentioned once in parentheses in a technical context."

Judge Goldstone, searching for words, replied that he was sorry she felt bad and added succinctly, “She was referred to in the report.”

He did not reply to her complaints that Israeli victims were referred to in only two pages of the 576-page report. Dr. Siderer explained that “blood was everywhere: after the rocket exploded, wounding , a patient and 100 other people." She pointed out that she also treats Arab patients from Gaza.

“My life was changed forever,” she added. “Next month I will undergo my eighth operation."

Judge Goldstone also ignored other questions: “Why did you focus on my country’s response but not on the attacks that cause it?

“Why did you not tell me that this council judged Israel guilty in advance?

“Why did you not tell me that you and other commissioners signed public letters judging Israel in advance?

"Where was this council? Why were you all silent?”

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

My apology to you Kanokwon. I stand corrected at this point. Conrad has shown me that the Muslim extremists have indeed infiltrated your country in the south.

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

Yes, I have heard the propaganda stories of saying the Jews are supplying rockets and mortars to the Palestinians so Jews can retaliate and kill more arabs. It is so ludicrous!

If that was true, Israel could just go open the border gates and invite the terrorists to come by and pick up their rocket and mortar supplies.rolling on the floor laughing There would be no need to keep burrowing tunnels in Gaza underground and under homes for smuggling them in.

Sad for your neighbor to be taken advantage of by hate groups when he is debilitated with a heart condition.sad flower

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

Sawadee ka:

And of course Miss Kanokwan, in your effort to defend Ray, you missed something very important in your above posting. You must not be up with current politics to not see what the palestinian terrorists are doing to the Israeli people AND people around the world with their suicide bombers? They seem to have problems with many different nationalities of people besides just Jews. Are you so blind as to what goes on elsewhere in the world?

I can only hope that these terrorists never infiltrate YOUR country and do to YOUR people what has been done worldwide to so many others. Perhaps then YOU will think differently than you do now and understand why the Jews and other nations have taken such a tough stance. Then it will be you who will become very biased the other way with a change of heart. Especially if your people now become the newest victim. Now this is honest opinion here.conversing

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

Oharmon,

You push your side all the time on these forums and write the most hateful ethnic postings. But that is your opinion and that is what it is. Post what you may but it is much appreciated that you do not use a bunch of swearing and so far you have courtesly not sworn at any of us. Thank you.

You should work towards cleaning up your image instead of covering up the atrocities committed by your people and the breaking of their promises to the world and Israel. Take close heed of that for yourself as you take such great joy in slamming me. Stop covering up for the atrocities committed by your own people to your own people and to the Jews and other non Jews throughout the world.

It is obvious that Jerusalem is not the obstacle for peace in the middleast. Watch repeatedly enough Hamas training videos and you'll believe anything. Now that is brainwashing. And that is some of the obstacles for peace.

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

When a nation, religion, ethnicity, (or whatever) begins to think that they are somehow superior to everybody else, it warps their whole world view. It's a sort of manic insanity.
They feel a compulsion to dominate and control everybody else.
So naturally it generates problems with everybody else.

But they see it in reverse. "Everybody else is unjust to them".
They are the eternal innocent victims and anybody who doesn't agree with that view is an agressor.(quote Rayfrom USA)

My my....this is an excellent description of the radical Muslim Fundamentalist maniac insanity mentality that that has caused so much death and destruction around the world and in their own back yard so to speak. Suicide bombers in many different countries from India, the U.S., Israel, the Phillipines to mention just a few. Everywhere in the world that these people go...they feel a compulsion to dominate and control everybody else by terrorizing the population and causing massive amounts of fear and bloodshed. And when they are caught, they accuse the authorities of being the agressor and they are the innocent victims.

Please Ray,do us a favor and "can" your rhetoric for now. You are sticking your foot deeper into your throat and elsewhere in your body. rolling on the floor laughing Oh plez, plez....cut us all here a break for a change.
Unless of course you enjoy the sticking feel and that is why you keep writing your bizarre thinking.dunno

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

Israel, CIA, USA and Mosaad do not put Muslims in front of the whole world to be terrorists. People act on their own personal choice on what behaviors and actions they do to become terrorists. Fighters are bought rather cheaply Terrorist recruitment is high in poor areas and the groups you listed do not send recruiters to poor areas to recruit terrorists to work on their behalf. Perhaps they shouldrolling on the floor laughing

Sad that Bin Laden hates Jews more than he loves his children. No parent in their right mind wants to ask or see their children get blown apart for certain death. He asked all of his sons to be suicide martyrs. Now that is a sick demented selfish individual to do that.

You are correct...politics does create enemies. You do have my utmost respect for wanting an organization for peace between Muslims, Jews and Christians. In a perfect ideal world, this would be most wonderful. But in reality as the world is now, membership would be in a very short supply. Sad, but so true. It is bold but very good thinking on your part. Perhaps somewhere in our lifetime or the next, this could be a possibility.

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

You may think Jews are equal as Yemeni citizens but obviously they are not. This article just came out if you read the date. The ruler of Yemen has reached out to it's Jewish citizens but was not able to reign in it's Muslim radical citizens who have been killing the Jews. The radicals will eventually fully rule Yemen in my opinion.

Perhaps the Yemeni radicals feel that since they are mad at the Israelis, then it's OK to kill their own country's Jews? These Jews did nothing to provoke their attackers except be Jewish. This is typical of the history of Jewish neighbor citizens in many countries where Jews have lived over the centuries. The Jews get murdered and the remainder are forced to flee for their lives. This is a sad reality of life.sad flower

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

I recall learning about the "killing fields" of Cambodia during the 1960s. Those alive who may have survived or lived through that terrible time and for future generations born since surely do not want that history ever revisited upon them again.

If Israel would fall to it's enemies, the Jews would be killed and the remainder exiled. Is there any country in the world that will absorb it's 6 million Jewish citizens? I think not Kanokwan.thumbs down

Silence of the Lambs. Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins were terrific in that film. Thought Clarice was a goner for sure and that Hannibal Lecter was going to eat her before the film even finished. Much like he made quick dinner of all his other prospects.wow

RE: Are you meteoropathic ?

Light up your home with alot of bright lights. It will definitely help your mood. SAD is a very good description of the disorder. It is rather common in our winter months here when there is not alot of bright sunlight but many snowy dreary drabby gray sky days. Many people feel very depressed much of the time during the long winter months.

At first the snow is lots of fun but day after day of gloomy gray skies for days on end can get rather depressing after a point. We long for bright skies and warm days again. Many of the people in our area are called "snowbirds". They go to Florida for the winter and get lots of sun.

Hope you start feeling better soon.

RE: Would you stay at a haunted hotel or house?

No, I did not see the Travel Channel. I only have basic cable, not the extended cable TV which has the luxury of that channel. Everyone in our group literally was stunned when the cupboard doors slammed shut just after we had walked by. We all stopped right where we were and were truly in awe.

I saw no orbs but my gaussmeter went off quite a few times in an area and then when I went back to the area, my meter didn't go off. Guess the spirit(s) were moving about the house and having a bit of fun with our group.

Let me share you a story. After my aunt passed away, I assisted my cousin in packing up the house. I also knew my aunt's home was haunted with her spirit, her husband's and that of her son. Felt the air pressure different in the rooms and also felt a quiver go through me several times walking into the upstairs bathroom. My son came running down from the attic insisting my uncle was up there looking over his shoulder. My 16 yr old son happened to come across a box of my uncle's unopened schnapps and didn't know what it was. But he sure felt my uncle's presence while he was reading the labels on the bottles.rolling on the floor laughing He never went up in the attic again after that. My Russian uncle was very outspoken and very strict in his rules. The attic was off limits even to his wife.

My sister in law who was also helping out, also felt the air pressure changes in the rooms, especially those rooms that death occurred in.

As my aunt had been going through the stages of dying, she clearly told me who was gathering around her and what they were saying to her. At 99 yrs old, my aunt's mind was very clear yet until the end. She relayed the messages to me and my son that my father was telling her as he spoke to her at her bedside from beyond the grave. He died in 1968. When she saw the faint light, she told me which deceased relatives were coming closer to her bedside. I tried to fool her questioning her if she were seeing people that were alive still, but she shook her head "no". She only saw the deceased.

Interestingly, after my cousin cleaned out the home and made many changes to get the house up for sale on the market, the spirits left. There was no longer any air pressure changes to the rooms. All of my uncles shaving items and other toiletries were finally removed from the bathroom too and no longer was the quiver occurring as I walked in there.

And yes...I did sleep in her home for a few nights right after she was buried. The air pressure was still different yet. But I had no fear whatsoever...but a secure and comforting feeling was there.

RE: Would you stay at a haunted hotel or house?

I would if someone stayed with me. However, I did go on a ghost hunt at a haunted house. Interestingly, I picked up sounds on my tape recorder and also some strange energy waves in a picture. It was quite an eerie evening to say the least. Even a set of cupboard doors slammed shut unexpectedly. Everyone in our group jumped and were stunned!!wow

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

(IsraelNN.com)Nov 1, 09 The United States State Department has smuggled 60 Jews out of Yemen in recent months due to fear for their lives, reports the Wall Street Journal. Another 100 of Yemen's Jews may follow.

The resettlement project began in July, following several attacks on Jews in Yemen, including the murder of Jewish community leader Moshe Yaish al-Nahari.

Several of the recent arrivals from Yemen to the U.S. described growing anti-Semitism and fear of attack prior to their departure. “They throw stones at us. They curse us. They want to kill us,” said Salem Suleiman of his former Muslim neighbors. Another recent arrival from Yemen, Shaker Yakub, described how he and his family dressed as Muslims in order to escape Yemen without problems.

The new arrivals from Yemen are being assisted in America by several Jewish organizations. Most have been resettled in the town of Monsey, a primarily hareidi-religious community in New York.

Jews have lived in Yemen for more than 2,000 years. In 1949 most of Yemen's Jews were brought to Israel in “Operation Magic Carpet” following a wave of anti-Semitic violence and slayings in wake of the establishment of the State of Israel. The hundreds of Jews who remained in Yemen until recent years faced renewed threats of violence in 2007. Threats of violence forced Jews to congregate in the city of Raida, where they soon faced attack yet again.

The growing violence led to reports over the summer that Jewish life in Yemen would soon come to an end, with almost all of the country's Jews moving to either the United States or Israel.

RE: Does Jerusalem remain an obstacle for peace in the world?

It just happens to be true. Israel is God's Promised Land to the Jews. So don't worry about it. Your point here is to spread hate mongering ideology.

They have fought and died to be Jews and practice their religion without fear of being murdered for that. Since you are mad about them taking over New York, perhaps you would rather have them take over Thailand instead? Or would you rather have the Taliban, Al Queda, Hamas or Hezbollah? Then you might have something to really worthwhile to gripe about.grin

RE: would you date your partner's best friend?

Huh? What? Errrm? Parvati Is Ali? ehhh....doh

RE: would you date your partner's best friend?

Ali,

I hope as time goes on, you learn the art of what we call over here "reading between the lines." This means no matter what a person is writing or saying, there's a deeper meaning or yearning for the wanting the other person or partner to truly understand what a woman or man is really saying. Of course this is something that usually comes when you are very much in love with someone.

Or in other words, you need to develop a better understanding of a woman's mind and heart, way above what she writes or even says. I speak from experience as I tried to push my boyfriend away 3 different times in the last 2 years. But his love for me and understanding endured when my emotions sometimes would hit rock bottom during some tough times. He would give me my space to think but no matter what, he kept in touch and let me know that he loved me no matter what. As I got through the tough times, I slowly let him back in my life.

He's a gem of a guy and I'm glad he understands my heart, soul and mind. He is able to "read through the lines" so to speak. So no matter how much I may growl, snarel,(meaning raise my lips and show my teeth) hiss and scowel(meaning make a nasty face), he knew in his heart that I still loved him and he felt the same about me. I was all "bark" and "no bite." So he stayed true to me and never considered another woman. No matter how mad, I also still remained true to him and have never considered another man.

I wish you all the success in life and learning to read a woman's heart, soul and mind. Such a very important sensitivity for a man to have in life to succeed in a relationship I believe.
