RE: bald is best

Why? Are you losing your hair already?confused No doubt Ms Angelface will love you no matter how much hair is on your head.

This question has already been posted very recently and the consensus was that it is a personal issue with some who like it and others that prefer more hair.

RE: Did she leave because she didn't love me or dose she just think I deserve better

As a mom of a 20 yr old son, after reading your profile, I am a bit baffled at the fact that you are asking what to do in this cheating girlfriend situation. From you profile, you are looking for an intimate encounter. Since you are living with your girlfriend and are supposedly in love with her, it is descipable that you would even consider stepping out on her for an intimate relationship with someone else.
For you to be looking for and maybe finding an intimate encounter would be tantamount to doing the same thing that she just admitted to doing.
Personally, I don't think you should have wasted your energy and time punching some guy when you are guilty of looking for the same type of cheating game on your girlfriend. You may find yourself at the end of some guy's boot or fist also. When considering an intimate encounter, some women are not so honest to tell you they have a boyfriend or spouse lurking in the background and you may be in for a surprise yourself.
Be a man with a conscience and don' step out with another woman unless you 2 have both permanently broken your relationship off and are in agreement that you both are going to move on in your lives. Then you are not stepping out of line so to speak.
It's probably not an intimate encounter you really want but more of a solid caring loving long term relationship with someone that is so much more rewarding in life. wave

THAILAND'S BLUE DIAMOND HEIST..STILL A SORE POINT WITH SAUDI ARABIA

Yes he did have to go to Dubai Redkayak.rolling on the floor laughing dancing Makes the plot more interesting. Who knows, someone is going to probably blame Mossad for the heist. Probably say it's to fund Israel's weapon manufacturing. Someone is going to come up with a conspiracy on this one I'm guessing.

But really, I cannot imagine anyone just opening a safe with a screwdriver. It obviously wasn't very secure. Why would anyone put such valuable jewels in such an insecure safe in such a poor gardner working around? Does make one wonder though where those diamonds have wound up by now. Who has themgrin detective transport

THAILAND'S BLUE DIAMOND HEIST..STILL A SORE POINT WITH SAUDI ARABIA

If the Saudi dude had a big insurance policy, why do you think that the guy who made the fake jewels and his family was murdered so clandestinely? Was this some kind of Saudi coverup perhaps?
I think the Saudi prince could have sold the diamonds in the international market somehow and made probably bigger bucks than his insurance policy would cover for. Afterall, Liz Taylor would be quite interested. She has a big collection of fantastic jewels as I have read about in the past few years. And with going through so many husbands, she has plenty of big rocks that lined her fingers and neck. rolling on the floor laughing

Why Is There So Much Corruption In Hamas Leadership

Last Update: 03/08/10, 1:33 PM

(IsraelNN.com) A Palestinian Authority news agency has reported that senior Hamas terrorists are using their power in the organization for personal gain. The Kefiyeh agency revealed that senior Interior Ministry official Shayma Abu-Nawafl recently purchased a large amount of land valued at $750,000 - apparently with money gained through his work with Hamas.

According to Kefiyeh, Nawafl gained significant wealth during the Hamas takeover of Gaza in 2007. He kept an extremely expensive car and other property which had been taken from members of the rival Fatah organization.

The report is particularly relevant due to the fact that Hamas often presents itself as the austere, idealistic alternative to the perceived-to-be-corrupt Fatah party.

Nawafl is particularly hated by Fatah due to the central role he played in the 2007 Hamas takeover of Gaza. He was allegedly among the leaders who decided to publicly execute captured members of Fatah, and was also responsible for the decision to shoot resistors in the legs.

The reports of alleged corruption come as Hamas battles to maintain control of Gaza. According to a report in Asharq Al-Awsat, the organization is being challenged by international terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda. The report quoted a Hamas official as saying that “security anarchy is extensive, and al-Kassam men are being killed.”

If Hamas is supposedly doing right by it's citizens, then why aren't they spreading their wealth around to those who are living in such poverty? Not so sure that their nearby arab neighbors want to even help them out at this point. It's pretty sad when even Qatar doesn't even want Hamas to get their hands on their pledge money. Something is wrong with the picture Hamas presents to the arab world even.

What happened to Matrix? Think maybe he got eaten up afterall by Nessie, the sharks or the snakes? If he is still around, there are 2 fire ant hills with scorpions, tarantulas and rattlesnakes waiting for him in Texas. He will be doused with sugar and honey and slowly lowered into the ant hill. And maybe a little smoke nearby to rally up the snakes a bit. Now that is good old American Texas redneck style justice.

THAILAND'S BLUE DIAMOND HEIST..STILL A SORE POINT WITH SAUDI ARABIA

Further complicating the mystery, the U.S.-based Foundation for Democracy in Iran, claimed in a 1996 report that the 1990 murders of the Saudi diplomats were the result of Iranian hit squads. The DSI, which took over the case from the Thai police in 2004, said any Iranian connection to the murders is only a rumor. But a 2009 arrest warrant for an "Abu Ali" for the murder of one of the Saudi diplomats has fueled the speculation on message boards and in the blogosphere of Middle Eastern involvement. Despite having little concrete evidence about Abu Ali, a DSI team headed to Interpol headquarters in France at the end of January to ask the international police organization for help apprehending the murder suspect.

Charging five current or former police officers for the murder of the Saudi businessman who disappeared in 1990, and the subsequent trial slated for the end of March, represents the best chance in years to put an end to the long-standing row. All five officers, however, deny the murder charges and have vowed to fight them in court. The highest ranking of the bunch, Somkid Boonthanom, blamed politics for the arrest, telling Bangkok's The Nation he had witnessed "outside factors intimidating and pressuring" the prosecutors.

So far the two-decade old whodunit reads like a paperback thriller, but it remains to be seen if the story will be neatly wrapped up in its final chapters. Ashri said in his e-mail to TIME that if the all cases were solved, Saudi Arabia would "have to seriously consider restoring relations" and that he was pleased by the recent "serious efforts from the Thai government." Still, with the statute of limitations expiring, pressure falls on the upcoming trial to reveal the secrets behind the Blue Diamond Affair. Saudi Arabia will have to decide soon if Thailand's last-minute show of effort was enough, or if curse of the blue diamond will haunt Thai foreign relations for years to come.

THAILAND'S BLUE DIAMOND HEIST..STILL A SORE POINT WITH SAUDI ARABIA

Though the DSI insists there's no proof the murders and kidnapping are connected to the theft, the former Saudi Charge d'Affaires Mohammed Khoja was adamant, telling the Bangkok Post in 1995 the murder case and the heist are "linked." Despite the deaths, the police tried to return the gems that weren't yet sold by Kriangkrai in an official visit to Saudi Arabia, hoping this would end the scandal. It didn't take long, however, for Saudi Arabia to claim that most of the returned goods were imitation baubles. To add insult to injury, local press reported rumors of photos of the wives of bureaucrats wearing new diamond necklaces at a charity gala, ones awfully similar to ones taken from the Saudi royalty. Needless to say, Saudi Arabia was not amused. In June 1990, the country would stop renewing the visas of more than a quarter million Thai workers who were working in Saudi Arabia and would give out no further ones, cutting Thailand off from billions of dollars in remittances. Saudi Arabia also barred its citizens from traveling to Thailand as tourists. Nabil Ashri, the current Saudi Charge d'Affaires said in an e-mail to TIME that the decision to downgrade relations was "obviously for safety reasons and due to repeated failures of the Thai authorities to adequately solve or explain any of the cases to Saudi authorities."

Under this pressure from Saudi Arabia, Thailand continued to investigate the case, though maybe not in the way Saudi Arabia had hoped. In 1994, a Thai jeweler, who Khoja believed was behind the imitation jewels, was kidnapped and then his wife and 14-year-old son were killed. At the time, the Thai police department said the two died in a car crash, but Khoja, was not convinced. The [Washington Post] quoted him as saying, "The forensic commander thinks were stupid. This was not an accident." (See the top 10 news stories of 2009.)

Only a few months afterwards, Chalor Kerdthes, the same police officer who headed the initial investigation and handed over the fake gems to Saudi Arabia, was arrested by Thai police and charged with ordering the murders of the jeweler's wife and son. The high-ranking police officer fought the charges until the Thai Supreme Court upheld his death sentence in October 2009. Chalor remains in prison, where he has put together a band and recorded a Thai cover of Elvis Presley's "Jailhouse Rock". Chalor has maintained his innocence, telling the Times of London, "Not all people in jail are guilty." It's no wonder that after these deaths, Khoja said there was a hex on the blue diamond and that anyone who illegally handled the mysterious stone would be cursed - something many Thais still believe.

THAILAND'S BLUE DIAMOND HEIST..STILL A SORE POINT WITH SAUDI ARABIA

CHRISTOPHER SHAY Sun Mar 7, 9:25 am ET- Yahoo News

Two decades ago, a Thai gardener climbed into the palace of a Saudi prince through a second-story window, busted open a safe with a screwdriver and stole some 200 pounds of jewelry. The former Saudi charge d'affaires in Bangkok told the Washington Post the gardener stuffed "rubies the size of chicken eggs" in his vacuum cleaner bag, along with a huge, nearly flawless blue diamond, which at 50-carats would be one of the largest blue diamonds in the world.

Or at least that's how the story goes, according to the local Thai press and the old charge d'affaires. Thailand's Department of Special Investigation (DSI), similar to the FBI, says it has no evidence to confirm the facts of the case - even whether the blue stone said to be larger than the Hope Diamond even exists. What is certain is that the alleged theft eventually cost Thailand billions of dollars, left people dead in its wake and put an Elvis-impersonating Thai official on death row. More than 20 years later, the ripped-off Saudis still want their jewels back and relations between the two governments remained strained. (See the world's top 10 heists.)

In January, five Thai policemen were arrested and charged for a murder allegedly connected to the case, raising hopes that some of the questions surrounding what has come to be known in Thailand as the Blue Diamond Affair would finally be answered. For Thailand, it could mean improved diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia, potentially bringing back hundreds of thousands of jobs in the oil-rich nation to Thai migrant workers. But since the Thai statute of limitations lapsed in February for murders allegedly linked to the heist, the Thais are running out of options. It will now be up to the Saudi government to decide if Thailand's last ditch efforts will be enough to normalize relations.

After the 1989 jewel heist, the gardener, Kriangkrai Techamong, airmailed the loot to his home in northern Thailand and hightailed it back, according to reports in the local press. After the Saudi government gave Thailand the tip about Kriangkrai, it didn't take long for Thai police to arrest him, but not before he allegedly sold some of the priceless jewels for a mere $30 an item. Soon after, three Saudi diplomats in Bangkok were shot execution style in two different attacks on the same night. Two days after that, a Saudi businessman was kidnapped and never seen again.

RE: International Law Enforcement Operates in U.S.

Now back to the topic of the OP...International Law Enforcement in the U.S. I don't personally think that the international police have business going into the U.S.

It is up to each country to go and apprehend international criminals in their own turf that Interpol has identified and extradite them to the Hague to go on trial or to the country that the crime was committed in. There should be in place some sort of extradition treaty agreement in place for when a person is finally captured for all countries in th world that have their own police security force in place.

RE: International Law Enforcement Operates in U.S.

I agree with you 100% here Tom. However, wouldn't it also be an eye opener for Crucialone to be present when the authorities interview anyone that might have survived Sadam's cousin Chemical Ali poison gasing their ethnic civilians. Perhaps Crucialone would have rather lived under Saddam rather than have the Americans and allies free the people from Saddam and his henchmen? Afterall, he feels the Americans don't do anything good at all for the people.

RE: International Law Enforcement Operates in U.S.

Crucialone,

You asked about what the US has done for the World above and I answered you in my comments. So have some others. Aside from so much name calling, I do believe if you read beyond that, you will find that the US has done very much for the Iraqis and the Afghans.

If you are not seeing the picture clear of what has been done for those citizens, then you do not recognize or ever will recognize the more serious instability that Sadam, the Taliban, Al Queda have caused the people over there.

Perhaps if you were one of the citizens of those countries, you would prefer to live under Sadam's regime, Al Queda or under the Taliban? If your answer is yes...then by all means book yourself a one way ticket over to those areas. It is where you perhaps should be living. Surely no one will try to change your mind or stop you. You will definitely not have to stay angry and convince us that you are right.

If you think the "grass is greener on that side of the fence"...by all means seek your future there. We will even send you a CS farewell party for a safe trip and a happy future. No problem there whatsoever for us. Just would be nice to see you happy and not fighting with everyone for a changedanceline tip hat motorcycle

RE: International Law Enforcement Operates in U.S.

Crucialone,

Seems that you take great joy in damning the US. But to contrast, there are so many people trying to get into our country to live legally and illegally and take the freedoms and benefits that our people have fought and died for because their native country doesn't afford them those privledges. To have a US citizenship is the ultimate goal of so many foreigners. Our country can't be that bad if everyone wants to live here and utilize our freedoms. And our freedoms and rights were based on our Constitution. So if you don't like it, TOUGH LUCK. We don't want or need you or your money in our country, not even for a tourist visit. If you are miserable as you seem to sound, by sounding off so vehementy like you do, please book a 1 way ticket to Iraq or Afghanistan and make a difference in the lives of those poor people over there whom you speak of.

And quit damning our country already. This country has allowed in more immigrants from oppressed countries than any other country throughout it's history. That's why there is no one particular ethnic face that anyone can identify as American. We are many. I'm not so sure that your country has nearly the amount of different ethnic populations from oppressed countries as the US.

You are so against the Americans and talk of Iraqi and Afghan people lives that are precious. However, I don't see you going over there whatsoever to go and protect, improve or even further the Iraqi and Afghan people's lives. Yet more American lives were lost there than any other country but yet also other people of different countries in this world have laid down their lives for total Iraqi and Afghan strangers.

Another thing...our country has sent in more doctors to give free artificial limbs to the Iraqi people, many of whom are children that Al Quaida has so readily used for their dirtywork. Perhaps you would be so kind to speak to these children about Al Queda and what they do think of the Americans now? Answer is that they welcome the Americans and the improvement in their lives now as compared to what Al Queda promised them.

At least our country has learned that if you don't fight the terrorism on their soil, then they come over onto your soil. 911 taught us that. And we still have to keep up the vigilance especially with the recent Christmas day airline incident. They try everything to get into our country. I think other European countries have seen what havoc was wrecked on them from terrorist bombings on their soil.

To any American soldier of present or past who is reading this, I want to say to you, "THANK YOU FOR KEEPING US SAFE HERE AND MAKING A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS OVERSEAS."thumbs up

Good morning Sassy,

And I THOUGHT I WAS THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS with these type of courtesies. Sassy, I was raised that this is what is expected of a gentlemen to do for a lady. Even as an independent woman, I do expect these chivalries from a man and nothing less. I have taught my son that this is also expected of him. He tells me that he does this with his dates and they really do appreciate it at the time. But he does tend to forget to do these things for his poor old mom heredoh Oh well, he has already earned his brownie points with me in life.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Devastated....Heartbroken...

Catsy,

He is stringing you along. That's an old game. If the guy was looking for real commitment with you, he'd have already made plans to be with you on a daily basis. More than likely, he is seeing someone and others in his neck of the woods. By stringing you along with flowers and romantic words, he keeps his ego up. While you are waiting faithfully, you will find that your heart will be broken in the end when the truth finally comes out.

Better to keep your eyes and options open for the perfect match that wants to be with you and there for you. A man who is truly in love with a woman acts very differently than a man who just talks words of love.smitten
