RE: My Cats

This is just one of them:

After all, your thinly veiled apology... is justifying your actions, based on my "mistake;" and, blaming other people on CS for judging you falsely.
I never looked at your profile; I'll take the word of all the other

And then you also go on to tell me I am a scammer based on my profile. Because you didn't even bother to read my explanation of why my profile is worded the way it is and why I have deleted my pic on purpose.

Since you keep bringing up the middleast thread on your cat forum and visa versa by bringing up your cat forum on the middleastern thread, I think that your problem is that you don't like that I stand up for Israel. It's not the cat issue in reality that bothers you so much about me. That's secondary. Well that is fine as far as I'm concerned and I don't really care. Just keep political stuff as your primary argument on your Gaza threads rather than use it as an excuse and feel a need to bring it up on your cat thread as you address me.

I'll tell you right now bud....I'm not groveling or losing one iota of sleep or happiness over anything you write or choose to attack me with. It is your right to voice your views but just beware....the OPs do screen what you write. So if they feel that it is abusive, they will cut you a deal in CS jail for a bit. No legal wrangling will get you out until your sentence is done.

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

Israel may not have to worry about attacking Gaza much in the near future. The Gazans rights groups will be attacking Hamas right from within their own borders.

Especially since Hamas has closed down their citizens water and amusement park and even attacked their wedding halls at the resort. Not a smart move from Hamas in such hot weather in an area that already has water issues on the line.

Expect to see some protests and bloodshed in the news very soon. Just a matter of time now.popcorn

RE: Terrorism - What's Your Definition?

Terrorism Definition:

Militants torch Gaza water park shut down by Hamas
Forty unidentified militants storm tourist resort, tying and beating gurads before setting buildings ablaze
.

Tags: Gaza Israel news Gaza's aquapark attraction "Crazy Water Park" was vandalized and partially set ablaze by on Sunday morning, the seaside resort's management said.

Around 40 unidentified militants stormed the tourist resort, breaking and destroying items and setting fire to its restaurant and administration buildings.

Masked gunmen torched the 3-month-old 'Crazy Water Park' in Gaza City.

The tourist attraction houses three swimming pools, water slides and various cafes and other facilities.

Alladein al-Araj, the attraction's director general, said in a statement that the militants also tied the hands of the guards and beat them.

He said that in addition to the resort's management offices, and restaurant, a three-storey building that includes wedding halls was also vandalized.

Describing it as "an awful attack," al-Araj said he held the attorney-general of the Hamas administration in the salient responsible, since he had issued an order in September to close the resort for three weeks.

"I'm astonished that there are fanatical people acting to obstruct the development of tourism in the Gaza Strip," he said.

He said owners of tourism facilities in the enclave met with Hamas lawmakers two days ago asking their help.

In June 2007, Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip by force after routing security forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority.

Since then, the Hamas administration in the Strip has been closing down restaurants, coffee shops and hotels in the salient, claiming these places violate Islamic tradition.

However, Gaza rights groups accuse Hamas of trying to Islamize the Gaza Strip by imposing new rules and laws that restrict many freedoms.

SOMEHOW I THINK THAT THE GAZAN RIGHTS GROUPS MAY FINALLY BE WAKING UP TO WHAT TYPE OF POLITICAL REGIME THAT THEY REALLY HAVE. IT WON'T BE LONG BEFORE THERE WILL BE PROTESTS MUCH LIKE IN IRAN. SADLY BLOOD WILL FLOW IN THEIR STREETS.

RE: My Cats

Tsk...tsk...tskconfused crying You attacked me on the cat forum for my answer to your fourm, then I write an apology due to the fact that I had not seen lots more that you wrote on your situation much further in on the forum....you state that you do not want to read my apology posting and then you finally state that you accept my apology based on reading the cliff notes as you called them. Only then to attack me once again on a totally different forum and bring up the cat issue again as if you did not accept an apology. You are one messed up dude!!!

So stop barking already on the topic. It is you who have made the mistake sir and keep harping on it. You can beat me up all you want at this point but I'm now done with your howling and caterwauling. You're just too fickle. Am just tickled to heck that your Godzilla-Rodane tactics with your neighbors netted you success to resolve your situation. You didn't need any help from anyone here for sure. doh rolling on the floor laughing

Now you have more time to devote to speaking to your local Rabbi or battling out your Gaza issue on CS. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

Since you brought up your cat issue and want to go off topic, I'll only say this......stop your barking and put your tail under your butt and walk away, especially since you don't have the inclination or the decency to read the Cat forum postings to the end. You just keep howling on. You are very boring indeed.

If you want to go at your neighbors like Rhodan and Godzilla locked in a battle on a cat issue, then by all means do so if that is your choice. Afterall, that is what you have done already and are bringing it on to this forum. Move on already rolling on the floor laughing

BTW, I will not do your homework on the meaning of what I posted. Pay a visit to your local Rabbi to find that out. Until then, have fun with it. peace

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

It is my pleasure to send this to Aspen and Anonymous for thought. Since you guys seem to know so much about Israel, you can figure this out. If you don't know what it means, please contact your local Rabbi for assistance.

I'm sure if you approach a Rabbi without wanting to kill him, then you will get a full interpretation on what this means on a different level of understanding as he explains to you the full meaning. Best of luck to both of you. peace

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

What do you mean by quiet night? I just happened to log on and saw all that jibberish by Anon and Aspen. Aspen is so lost that he can do nothing better than take jabs at name calling and sarcasm to you and Conrad. Sounds like our Birchie boy all over again. Maybe he is...who knows?

Do you know what the actual english translation of that sentence above is? I won't tell on the fourm....I'll keep them in suspense.grin

RE: My Cats

Ok Anonymous,

My response was basically giving a polite apology in detail to offending you and some others here about the cat issue. Some other CSers responded here by judging me based on my profile. my profile was recently changed to deliberately ward off any scammers. 15 scammer mails in 3 days was more than I could handle anymore.

I hope you will accept my apology as your initial explanation of the situation did not go into enough detail. By the time I got to writing my response to your initial posting and getting it posted, you had posted further information that I did not see at the time. Of course if I had seen all the further info that you posted, my comments would have been very different initially.

Aloha!!

RE: WAR..ARE THEIR ANY HEROES

You got that one right Albertathumbs up

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

Very good point made Alberta.thumbs up

Anonymous: I did not ignore the pictures of Israeli soldiers but you chose to ignore the pics of the Hamas soldiers doing the same type of atrocities and therefore you gave an unbalanced bias. When you want an opinion from the CSers, it would be much more appropriate to at least present the same atrocity from both sides so as CSers could see each video to give a more fair opinion on your topic question that you asked. So which brings to mind now is "What was your point for ignoring the Hamas cruelty"? Were you seeking a one sided opinion that agrees with yours or was it just an honest error on your part?

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

Sir, if you are able to get a website and finally view a video, then you can literally just click over on one of the videos on the right side of the screen and you will be able to view another video without the long hours wait. It will not take hours to download when it is right there.

All of us are only grains in the dessert of life so to speak. But none of us are insignificant Aspen as it takes many grains of sand to make up a viable dessert. There is life in the dessert ya know.

Obviously, you think deeply on a subject as most of us do and look to find out what others feel. I am giving my opinion also. An opposite opinion should not be misconstrued to think that you are being attacked. Sometimes people may give you an opposite view and also try to prove that the sites you may get your information from may not be reliable to begin with.

RE: My Cats

I forgot to add Ms Ballerina to my list of people to apologize to since she also got mad. My apologies to you also.

RE: My Cats

OK Venus, RW and Anon,

Please let me explain something to you that I hope will cool all your jets a bit.

#1. My profile is the way it is now ONLY because I have gotten 15 scam emails in less than 3 days. I deliberately changed my profile and wrote a nasty one and deleted my pic to stop the scam mails. Only 1 has written in the last 2 weeks since. For those who know me, I am the COMPLETE opposite of what I have in my profile. I very rarely get upset in life or even use a nasty swear word. Now I know that my profile should turn away some potential scammers who happen to read it. I appreciate to know that it made all you mad just to read it so I know it will get to the scammers too. Ignore my profile and just dialog with me here and you'll get to know me well enough.

#2. I failed to realize at the time I wrote that you were writing from Hawaii and that is not the mainland US. I have been to Hawaii and it is beautiful and some of the areas are very rural, especially on Kuwai(I remember being stranded on an upper rim canyon road with water blowing out of the car radiator). People that live on farms by us do keep outside cats to keep the mice and rodent population down much as you are doing, but the cats here usually sleep in a barn at night with the other animals. Perhaps you do not have barns there. I had thought that you were living in the city areas where leaving an unspayed or uneutered cat outside is considered irresponsible and they just over multiply and become diseased and kill each other. In the country out here, the outside cats life is much shorter than an inside housecat as outside animals get attacked much quicker according to my veterinarian.

#3. My apology to you Anon for not knowing the full situation of the type of neighbors you have and the fact that you haven't been able to keep a cat to even reach adulthood. I am aware that it is not uncommon for druggies to harm animals or set cats on fire to watch them in torture. I doubt these neighbors are being gracious and kind to your cat.

#4. I am curious as to why this kindly pastor does not do a background check on the people he rents out his apts to? It seems that this would resolve some of the problem when searching for suitable responsible tenants. Prevent lots of trouble for you.

#5. I do not sit all day at my computer writing on forums. Of course like anyone else, we take breaks and have other responsibilities too.

#6. I have my views on the Israeli-Palestinian issue and they may well be opposite of others. But if you put up a poll or forum, do expect people to give their views. If I have something to post that is opposite of you, expect that I will post it. If you are offended, I am sorry but I will not curse you out for your belief. As much as anyone may post an Israeli atrocity that they don't like, it is just as easy to post videos of Palestinian atrocities. I am not attacking anyone in my postings, but just trying to show you the other side of issues via videos also.

#7. My apologies to any of you who have been offended as it is not my intention. I have not been offended whatsoever in your angry comments on this forum about me with any words you may use.

#8. I also did not realize you were a dog breeder and trainer and had issues with the rodents getting into the dog food and causeing disease to your dogs and affecting your livlihood. Reading thru the entire forum gave me a much better understanding of your living situation.

#9. I do not know if Dog Chapman, the bounty hunter happens to live on your island. Can't help but wonder if any of these neighbors of yours would be on Chapman's bounty hunter list perhaps? Just a thought there.

Lilly handshake

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

BTW Aspen, if you don't want to hear what people say on a forum regarding Gaza, then don't set up a poll and ask for opinions. You obviously don't want anyone else's opinion unless it agrees only with yours. Otherwise, you wouldn't be getting so upset.thumbs down

RE: My Cats

Also Anonymous1, I would like to mention that with the last male stray I took in that was 6 wks old, it's male partner that was protecting it when it was outside still got into a cat fight with a feral mangy looking male alleycat and lost the fight. This partner cat was deeply gouged on it's side and dying on my porch. This could well be the scenario that you may face someday if you leave your pets out permanently. It took me a few hundred dollars and several visits to the vet to bring it back up to health. I finally found a family to take it in but it was never the same gentle cat it was before. It became very skiddish after that.

I heard and saw that cat fight and the fur and blood was flying. It was touch and go whether he was going to live or not as he laid on my porch chair gazing up at me with a haunting death look.

RE: My Cats

Sorry sir but you're being irresponsible if you got a kitten and didn't have it spayed right from the start. You're contributing to animal overpopulation and it is cruel when the mother cat could get killed being outside and the same for her kittens.

You're not doing your beloved cats a favor by letting them wander. It would definitely be a lot cheaper in the longrun to keep them in, spayed and neutered and save yourself the aggravation of a fight and court costs over hostile differences with your neighbors over a pet.

Truthfully, your neighbor is being more merciful to the cats by keeping them in than you are sir. When cats overpopulate and fight for territory, they will fight and kill each other too as that is in their nature. Surely you've heard nightime cat fights outside your home. You asked for another perspective and this is it....one from a current cat owner who has adopted 3 outside strays.

Shelters are overpopulated with cats and kittens and people are dumping the animals at roadsides. Also many of the shelters have to euthanize the cats due to not finding homes. Also consider that having many cats, I have a feeling that you may not be vaccinating them all. Feline leukemia is very common, deadly and spread easily amongst unvaccinated cats. Not to mention the rabies they can get from coming into contact in a fight with a wild animal.

A visit to the local Animal Protective League or other groups that adopt the animals will give you a better understanding as to the magnitude of the animal overpopulation issue.

If you take action and responsibiltiy with animal population growth with your pets, you won't ever have to worry about the neighbors regarding your animals.

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

Zionists attack Christian tourists visiting the holy land

While you are viewing this, do look to the side and check out the Hamas videos of training their children to do jihad through plays and even Mickey Mouse stories. There are also videos there of Hamas literally grabbing a child by the arm and pulling him over to be a human shield. In another video, it is shown rounding up the children to be a a human shield around some guy's home.

Before you bash the Israelis with the Pallywood videos, do also take a view of some of the Hamas training videos I viewed from right off of the you.tube web site you posted.

RE: do you believe isreal should have attacked Gaza in operation cast lead

If you go back in history of the Jews in the middleast many centuries ago, you will find that many of them were forcibly converted to Islam as they were conquered. Or risk being executed according to the Koran. Others were forcibly expulsed from the area and went into Europe and even parts of Russia.

I believe that was not mentioned in the article but one only look at the history of the Jews who lived in the middleast in general when Islam swept the area. This should answer the question as to why there is the similarity. Many Palestinians obviously do not know of their Jewish ancestry as Islam has obviously wiped it from their heritage.

Same thing happened in WW2 with the Jewish children that were taken into hiding by the Catholic church and converted. Many of those children and their decendants were not even aware of their Jewish roots until the church has opened up their archival records. Now compare that with centuries that have passed since an ancestor was forcibly converted to Islam. Future decendants would not know their Jewish roots. Same situation just different faiths.

Very interesting what science and genetics bring to light.

You go girl!! You tell it like it is!!thumbs up

RE: United Nations Peace Keepers in Gaza

Now that would be something if the UN would go in and investigate Hamas for its use of Phosphorus bombs being shot into Israel? Afterall,Hamas made a worldwide fuss about Israel using them and did an investigation. Bet there will be no worldwide condemnation towards Hamas on their use though. Only 1 sided against Israel all the time.

Anyway, it goes to show that Hamas is still able to smuggle in rockets, mortar and now phosphorous bombs. Israel is not being aggressive enough to wipe out these weapons caches. It's time the Egyptians find the tunnels and send some robotic machinery down to finish off the tunnel smugglers. Could make tunnel smuggling an unpopular occupation after that.frustrated

RE: Things that make you go arrrrgh

I just finish washing and waxing my old parquet wood floors in my kitchen. The cat decides to walk thru the wax that isn't dry yet and leaves her paw prints. So I have to go back and rewax that area.

Now after all the wax is finally dry and the room smells very nice, she decides to upchuck a hairball and it leaves a dull well marked area in the wax after I clean it up. So I have to rewax that area again. Argggggh!!

RE: Things that make you go arrrrgh

Correction "arepeat" should be "a repeat".

RE: Things that make you go arrrrgh

Going thru arepeat stack of papers and mail that you had promised yourself you would never again let happen, since you have once cleaned them out originally. The big pile starts up again cuz you get too busy to go thru the mail every night, you set aside advertisements that you feel are important and you might want to read a bit closer and you also find more old papers lying around the house stashed in a drawer or something tht you were keeping for nostalgia for years....... but now decide you really don't need. Arrrgh!!

RE: Why do you believe in your religion

I am not Christian but I most certainly believe in our Creator AKA God. I don't think the Declaration of Independence or Constitution specifies as "Christian God". Even our "Pledge of Allegiance" does not say Christian God but just God.

Sometimes Creator and God can be used to mean the same and for people whom may be atheists, they may believe in some type of Creator but not necessarily as a religious "God".

It is offensive to make a remark to think that everyone should believe in a Christian God or even God. That is what you have implied by the statement "Why can't people that are not Christians understand this?"
