RE: Real friend

So true, so true Ccincy. Hope that your pooch is doing much better now that you have him on meds. I know that dogs are truly a best friend and will stand by your side through the good, bad and ugly times. They love you unconditionally.

RE: A Short Neurological Test

Geez, it spells out just like the CS scammers write. Or at least close to the way they write. doh grin rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Happy Birthday Trish

Happy Birthday Trish...and may you have many many many many many more happy ones. I'm raising a glass of wine to a toast to another good year for you. thumbs up wine

RE: Heartbreaking news about my lil dog Prince

Hi Ccincy,

I haven't read the entire thread but feel so sad to hear that your beloved pooch is ill. Whether you've had the dog for a minute, a day, a month or a lifetime, this best friend has brought you an immense amt of joy. There is no price anyone could put on the peace of mind that comes from the contentment of an animal that unconditionally loves you.

I had 2 dogs for many years. It was the most difficult to put down my 17 1/2 yr old female german shepherd. Had to carry her into the vet as her back legs couldn't hold her up anymore and she was crying in pain. She was so special and I greived for a very long time. Made sure that I buried her very deeply in the ground. In her youth, she was an abused dog who was left chained outside in all weather elements to a log. When I got her, it took much money and time invested to bring her back to health. She gave me 16 years of unconditional love and faithfullness.

As for the other dog, I got her as a puppuy from he local animal shelter. When I let her out to run one day, she took off and didn't come back when I called. I searched for weeks and put up signs. She was 13 1/2 with cancer tumors and hobbled. I believe she hid out somewhere to die on her own. It was a very sad feeling for sure as i didn't have the closure to bury her and say my goodbyes.

So whatever time you have left with your pooch, I know that you treasure every minute of it. Kudos to you Ccincy..you are a gem of a person. The dog has been given some additional life because of your love and caring. thumbs up

RE: Restrictions on Habeas Corpus

Sorry folks, I meant "darn"...not damn.

RE: Restrictions on Habeas Corpus

Yes, I think the firing squad would have been most appropriate.thumbs up What a waste of our taxpayers money.

That darn Habeus Corpus.thumbs down

RE: Restrictions on Habeas Corpus

You answered your own question right in the first sentence with the words "its CITIZENS". THE GUANTANOMO DETAINEES ARE NOT US CITIZENS...therefore Habeus Corpus does not apply to them. If any of them are US citizens, then yes of course the law may pertain to them. The Constitution gives protection to US CITIZENS only and rightly so. Not protection to foreign enemy combatants.

RE: how many

Heck, I changed my profile to run off the scammers. Awhile back, I got 16 scam letters in 3 days and that was it for me. Changed my profile and removed my pic. Only occassionally I still get one and have a good chuckle.

Yeah, I give them a doozy of a response when they email me.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: What talent would you find appealing in a partner?

Well, not too much Dj..rolling on the floor laughing Do you think I'm asking too much for a guy to bait my fish hook, remove the fish and clean it too? All the "ewwww" smelly and "icky feely touchy" jobs I detest.

I will gladly spend 3-4 hrs cooking a wonderful tasty meal just so I don't have to do the icky, ewwwie, smelly fishy jobs.

I am all girlie and I can guarentee that if a snake or spider even came crawling close to me or would fall from a tree on me, I would run screaming pell mell crazy for sure over the first hill I could find and be out of sight for a bit.rolling on the floor laughing

Guess I would be better in the camp cooking.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: BOBAN'S ANYTHING THREAD

Yes, this is Valentine's Day and there's a vaccancy by Scottburd? Nah, I don't believe that for a moment. Where is Scottyburd and her chocolates? Hiding out somewhere probably and not wanting to share any of it with us. comfort

RE: TED BUNDY

I forgot that you can download movies. The movie really will leave you thinking at the end and you can see how this guy blended in easily with people and why he was so hard to find. So many parents had their hearts broken when they had to bury their little children from this monster.

Let us know how this movie impacted you after you have watched it. I've seen it several times and it brings me to tears. I can't even fathom how a person can have no soul and can commit such heineous crimes against innocent children. Bad enough against adults but against children is so much worse.

I believe he got the justice he deserved at the end of the movie. It is based on a true story.

RE: What talent would you find appealing in a partner?

Gosh Dj, you're not asking for too much. Clean a fish without making the "ewww gross face? I find it very appealing if a guy could start off with just putting the worm on the hook for me and of course clean the fish.

I'm an exceellent cook and will be glad to cook him up a very tasty meal in appreciation of not having me go thru the agony of the "ewww" Cooking is my passion, touching a worm, snake or spider is not my forte. EWWWWWWWWWWW!!! No cooking up those Ewwwww critters though.

BTW, I can cook up a very tasty 10 course meal that will guarentee to please any guy's tummyvand keep him very content. No eeewwwws for me though.

RE: What talent would you find appealing in a partner?

Oh yes, these talents would be very appealing in partner for sure. Oh my aching herniated lumbar discs.help

RE: TED BUNDY

The movie stars Steven Ray and Donald Sutherland. It was produced in 2000. I am not sure of the producer though but it is a well done film and gets into the mind of the serial killer. You might consider renting it if it is available. Well done film for sure.

RE: TED BUNDY

If you have a Family Video store in your area, contact them to see if they have the movie Citizen X. It was a very well done film. The Russian police had a very difficult time to catch this serial killer as he lured the little children off. It was very sad indeed. He killed at least 44 little girls before he was caught. And there were possibly many more that were not identified even.

RE: Pregnancy at an older age

I had my son at 36 1/2 and my husband was 21 yrs older than me. No mental or physical birth defects whatsoever but he took everything out of me during his developement.

9 months of intense vomiting with losing 18 pounds in the first month, being hospitalized from dehydration. And finally an emergency C-section at a full 9 month term for a 9 lb, 11 ounce boy cuz he was being strangled by the umbilical cord and was losing his heartbeat.

Today, he is a terrific 21 yr old guy at 6 feet 6 inches tall. I have no regrets going through 9 months of vomiting although I never did it a second time.

Doc said it is not uncommon for a healhy growing baby to take all the nutrients out of a mother's system early on and throughot the pregnacny and tear her body down to the extreme. Like what occurred to me. But she said that the baby usually comes out very healthy which was the case for me.

His friend's mom was 41 when she gave birth for the first time. The kid was super brilliant and went to Montosouri schools. No birth defects either.

So if it is a chance of a lifetime to make your dream come true with a child, do go for it and don't look back. Even with 9 months of intense vomiting, you may still come out with that bundle of joyteddybear applause

RE: Zionist Occupied America

Are you going to the bathroom or are you finally going over to get your airline ticket to Gaza? Either way, we'll surely see you when you get back. Maybe you'll feel a bit better.

Yes...spring is in the air!doh

RE: Zionist Occupied America

I have no problem with Jews.

(quote Silverbirch) I'm living under the influences of Jews running my government. Thats what this is about.

I'd have to agree that there definitely some sort of split dual personality problem going on here with Silverbirch. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Zionist Occupied America

Well SB, I've been reading your rabid posts now for the last 3 yrs and it's the same spiel over and over and over again.. You're do nothing to change anything. Just kvetching, kvetching, kvetching, kvetching over and over and over.

You say you don't want a pack mentality but when you got your pack going on and on and just repeating everything you cut n paste from the prolific Jew hate sites, you're on top of the world. You're ranting gets stronger with your supporters.

Then when anyone proves anything different and your pack isn't there to support you, you start the oying, kvetching, belching and the poor me, oh my, everyone is attacking me, it's not fair. Well SB, the problem is like Patmac has said, "You are only intersted in your own self." Your ego is so overinflated.

It is so sad indeed that you have the opportunity to live and walk freely in the US. Too bad there wasn't a way that you could exchange places with someone who is a refugee from a war zone who would gladly give you a chance to take their place in their country and stay there permanently. You would be singing a different tune very quickly and be begging an American consulate to get you back on US territory.

People leave harsh regimes to come over here and have a better life for themselves and their families. They come from Cuba and South America via illegal boats and through desert borders illegallly to get to the US for a chance at a better life. And you have so little respect for our country that gives it's citizens the freedoms that we have.

Even illegal aliens get a chance at work, heathcare and education. Try getting that in some other countries, especially in some war zones. Shame on you SB for carrying on so shamelessly for so many years. Maybel someday you will have the opportunity to change places with a refugee and see how far you can "walk in the shoes they left behind."

They would most likely be very happy to live under any Jew in this country compared to whom they were living under in another country.

RE: Zionist Occupied America

So true,so true Pat. Anyone who cares to even read SB forum posts will see that he mainly only posts anti Jew forums and replies only anti Jew and doesn't answer any questions when someone proves him absolutely wrong. He replies by asking questions back and always evades the subject. He writes to hear himself talk.

It is a total waste of time to even dialogue with him as a dialogue is not even what he wants.

RE: Letters to the universe...

So true, so true Ali. Very good post for surethumbs up

RE: Come here froggy

My ex-husband used to play his banjo and sing a bluegrass tune to our son called, "Froggy goes a courtin" and it was very cute indeed. Perhaps someone knows the origins of that song?

RE: death penalty

I'm for it!! Especially when it is proven beyond any doubt...especially with a serial killer or a child killer. thumbs down

RE: a question

Anything that man has seen or dreamed about has probably been asked about since time immortal. Dream and ask and ask and dream. I doubt that there has ever been anything that man has not asked about to someone someplace in this world at some point in time.

RE: Test tube food?

Haven't you ever heard of the world's first "Test Tube Baby" Louise Brown?

RE: Test tube food?

I give patient's in the nursing home Tube Feedings or what is aka liquid meals in a can. I often wondered if in a patient's mind that they can imagine a taste of some type of food when it is pouring into them.

RE: Ghosts and spirits

Thanks for clarifying yourself. Many of us have had experiences with deceased people. Some experiences such as what my neighbor had occurred totally unexpected for him and he was at a complete loss so was searching for someone whom the message given to him was intended for. He had never even ever had an experience like that in his life and was actually very scared and upset at the time.

It is not unusual to have the spirit of someone who was close to you to appear on occassion to comfort you or send a message to you somehow when you are worried about something serious.

My ex husband and his family have had the experience of actually seeing his deceased son walk through the house and speak to them on occassion. A very dear friend of my first cousin(who passed in 2009)told me she often sees her son walk through the room and let her know he is OK. The sight of him and hearing his voice brings her comfort. That is the experience of the bond of love.

In my opinion, love has no bounds that hold it to a single dimension. I believe those bonds can transcend dimensions and that is the reason why people can see loved ones at different times after they've died. The deceased continue to touch the lives of those they loved when they were in this world.

It is also not impossible that in some cases, we have some sort of love attatchment in some way with someone before us that perhaps we met in a different lifetime.

Hope no one beats me up on this last idea. Maybe that is why sometimes we see spirits that we don't know even who they are.bouquet:

RE: Clothes Size's

Wait a minute Ms Witchay. You cannot have the dibs on the chocolate that is sent. You must forward that on to Ms.Scottyburd. That is her only special domain. Now don't forget what I'm telling you.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Ghosts and spirits

Obviously you are a cynic!! My neighbor who saw my aunt and uncle thought he was dreaming. He had no idea that I was having a surgery either.

In fact, he didn't even know that the message was for me as he didn't know who Shari was even. He spoke to other people with a similar name and no one knew what he was talking about. He just took a final chance and stated in the exact type of way and even accented the words in the way my aunt would speak a sentence. And then when he described the clothing, colors, style and even the print design, I was very shaken up. This was the aunt who raised me. She died on my birthday in 2005. I was always very close to her and grateful that I didn't get forced to live in an orphanage as a teenager in the 1960s.

As an add on to the topic, when this aunt was on her death bed, she saw the spirits of the deceased around her. I tried to fool her by asking if she saw certain people who were alive still. I couldn't fool her. She told us of the conversation with her deceased brother and he was standing next to her.

After she passed, there was a difference in the air pressure in the room for quite a few days as I believe her spirit lingered in the house. Eventually, the pressure lifted and I believe her spirit left. There was also the pressure differences in another room in the house where her son had passed. That room pressure finally lifted too.

Also, I had the experience of stepping into the entranceway to the upstairs bathroom and before I could fully enter the room, something walked right through me. It was a feeling like something touched me and sent me in quivers. This only occurred when my aunt was dying. It would occur again when I opened the medicine cabinet and there was all my deceased uncles shaving equipment still there.

My 16 yr old son came running out of the attic scared and said that there was someone up there glaring at him over his shoulder and they were angry. He wouldn't go up there again. He was helping go through old boxes of stuff after my aunt passed away. The attic was my uncle's domain.

Lastly, when my aunt was alive and well, she would call my uncle's name repeatedly everynight in her sleep for quite awhile. I know she had no idea that she was doing it. I used to listen to it for an hour at a time before she would quiet down.

I do not doubt that spirits are all around us and walk with us. Just that some of us may be more sensitive to either seeing them or experiencing something that they want us to know about. JMHO!!

RE: Ghosts and spirits

Yes, I believe in them very much. My deceased aunt came to visit my young neighbor next door and told him to give me a message at the time. I was facing an uncertain surgery and an uncertain future and was very worried.

My aunt appeared to him with the following message for me, "Tell Shari to stop worrying already, everything will be alright."

I was shaken to the core when he described exactly what this ghost looked like right down to the clothing she wore. My uncle was also in the background in a scene that resembled where he was standing in his old fashioned Dry Goods clothing store.

Weirder was when I checked with my first cousin and described the clothing of my uncle and the store scene, she said that she took a picture of her father in that exact store scene wearing those clothes back in the 1960s. My neighbor had never known my aunt and uncle in New Jersey nor ever even saw pics of them. My elderly aunt died in 2005 and this was now 2007. My uncle died many years before that.

The clothing styles, the eyeglasses and even the color, print and design of the apron that my aunt was wearing was exact to what she had in life. He even got my aunt's height, the shoe color and style of shoes correct.

My surgery came out fine and no complications whatsoever. Guess my aunt chose not to scare me by directly coming to me in a vision. Scared the heck out of my neighbor for sure.
