The Guardian news Apr 17, 2015 Sailors were given a daily tot of rum from 1655 until the ration was abolished, as recently as 1970. Originally it was given to sailors neat when the beer ran out (water was not safe to drink as it became rancid very quickly at sea and it was often taken from polluted rivers, such as the Thames).Apr 17, 2015 Rum has a long tradition with Britain’s Royal Navy, and with navies that grew out of it, including the Australian, New Zealand, Canadian and other commonwealth navies.
The tradition of naval rum began with the Royal Navy’s West Indies squadron in Jamaica in 1655. By 1731, it had spread to the rest of the British fleet. Coca-Cola has a proud history of supporting men and women in uniform and in the 1940s the Company was determined –in whatever small way it could –to offer those brave men and women a small reminder of home and happier times.
After sitting on the fence entry of the United States into the war brought an order from The Coca-Cola Company president Robert Woodruff in 1941 “to see that every man in uniform gets a bottle of Coca-Cola for five cents, wherever he is and whatever it costs the Company.”Despite the difficulties, Woodruff knew that Coca-Cola could support the war effort.
Presence of Coca-Cola did more than just lift the morale of the troops. In many areas, it gave local people their first taste of Coca-Cola—a taste they obviously enjoyed.
How Coca-Cola Provided A Fresh Coke to the Front Lines of World War II
Coca-Cola used to contain cocaine
After being wounded in the Civil War, former Confederate Colonel John Pemberton developed an addiction to morphine. He set out in search of an opium-free substitute, and the end result, which he developed at his drugstore in Columbus, Georgia, served as the prototype for Coca-Cola’s recipe; he called it a “brain tonic and intellectual beverage.” 2. It was derived from two key ingredients
The name Coca-Cola is derived from two primary ingredients: the coca leaf and the kola nut. Extract of the coca leaf was essentially cocaine, and the kola nut provided caffeine. 3. It was originally alcoholic
It originally contained 9 milligrams of cocaine per glass
5. It still contains coca leaf extract
In 1988, the New York Times discovered that Coca-Cola still contained non-narcotic coca leaf extract produced by the Stepan Company, the nation’s only legal commercial importer of coca leaves. ''Ingredients from the coca leaf are used, but there is no cocaine in it and it is all tightly overseen by regulatory authorities,'' a Coca-Cola spokesperson confirmed to the paper. No word on whether it still contains kola nuts, but we wouldn’t be too surprised!
Mahayana view is our true nature is moving energy, subtle-winds, migrating from life to life since beginningless time, time that is without end. In plan english utilizing logic and reason; we are not our physical body, (the body) is a mirid of living and dying cells, that are constantly being replaced, also minerals (bones) contantly changing, pus other waist products, our hair is continually growing, likewise our finger and tow nails are to we are constantly shedding our skin...
It is impossible to find a truly existence self, in the person labeled robplum or whatever its a merely labeled name; yourself, others are known by mere label. Father & Mother thought of uncle Fred aunty Mary whatever merely labelled.
It is impossible to calculate the eons our subtle winds have been migrating, the winds have been taking form and formless rebirths after rebirth, (my interpretation explanation for the since beginningless time) and so because nothing can possibly become a nothing therefore the moving energy is without end. Ever lasting. Your body worm tucker, fish food or ash no matter which way you meet your demise its impossible for any of it to become a nothing...

as many as there are people, there is equally that many human opinions on any subject including the question proposed by the OP of this thread. Doctor-google says: According to scholar Peter Harvey, the number of adherents of Eastern Buddhism (Mahayana) is 360 million people.
All of whom would share very similar if not exact opinion as i am going to again mention in CS threads.
All sentient beings (beings that have mind and fear death)-(like ones self) have been migrating since from life to life since beginningless time. Using human logic and reason we (all 360 million of us) deduce therefore all sentient being have countless times been our own mothers, given birth, fed and protected us and therefor we should not cause harm to even the tiniest sentient creature.
For anyone who has a desire to better understand then i suggest you might like to check out How to Meditate based on teachings given by Lama Yeshe at the Royal Holloway College, England, 1975.
The text includes but limited to: If all negative actions and unhappy feelings come from false conceptions, then the only way to overcome these actions and feelings is to purify and release our false conceptions by perceiving the right view. Perceiving the right view is not something that can just be done instinctively. It takes time to develop right conceptions and perceive the right view.
Hang on slow down Ali, what sought of solar panels? What you using them for? Have you checked out Swedish CTEK battery management system if not why not?
I've purchased laminated amorphous solar cell blanket from a sweet lady on Alibaba.com Ali I am happy to recommend there services. you might like to check out there products follow this link:
If you can online read about managing deep cell batteries, in particular why you would never drain deep cell below 12v. Why you would consider battery management system. A proper 12v battery chargers that will fully charge a 12v battery, including AGM batteries as there are only a couple that can Ali. Take your time and read about the types of available batteries and also what will or want charge a LITHIUM ION battery etc etc
I'm currently running one fridge of two 130ampH deep cell batteries that are being charged by three solar-blankets about 360 watts feeding into "CTEK D250SA system" plus a small trickle maintenance solar panel keeping the batteries up. I've couple other small l trickle maintenance solar panels maintaining batteries, plus i have three electric fence units run by solar panels.
In Australia most state governments subsidize household solar system

The way we react to any given event is conditioned what we impute good/bad/or indifference. I think motivation has direct a impact upon outcomes. Engaging in road rage is hardly likely to produce positive outcomes. Our motivation shapes outcomes a bit like tomato seed grows a tomato plant not an apple tree, positive thoughts have positive outcomes. I shared a link on my facebook timeline this morning e.g. "True peace cannot be achieved by force or by merely envoking the world „peace“. It can only be attained by training the mind and learning to cultivate inner peace. Peace is a a calm and gentle state of mind." (the 17th Karmapa)
) which was an incredible experience. Spent two or three weeks their. A Island trader (ship) dropped myself and two friends traveling together off. We were assigned straw cottage by the village chief in what was a very small village (one of only two on the island). No commercial activities of any kind, power or telephone nothing. Couple years before the Island was hit by a Cyclone and the people had spent more than forty-eight hours clinging to the ground, coconut trees were torn out and thrown into the sea, the water around the island was crystal clear. There was a coral reef that we joined the locals at night carrying burning coconut palm chasing fish with sticks on. Christmas occurred while we were there and all the young people from the other village sang carols all night long in our village which was pretty interesting. Once walked over to the other village an attended a dance evening, the girls all had a dance with me, the twist i think. Real mind blowing experience.
Also we stayed a couple weeks on Ugi Island. It to had couple of villages and was mind blowing place. Images today show tourist venture tours to both those Islands, however there were missionaries still living on Ugi. So my response is Santa Anna and Ugi.
In passing the battle of Coral sea was fought in that region
The North Complex fire is the 10th largest on record in California and growing as firefighters try to prevent it from advancing toward the town of Paradise, where the most destructive fire in state history two years ago killed 85 people and destroyed 19,000 buildings.

Australia’s answer to Mao wants to extend his state of emergency for another YEAR. This should frighten anyone who values liberty
Victoria’s Dan Andrews has brought in some of the most draconian Covid-19 lockdown restrictions on the planet and now wants the right to keep them in place for a further 12 months. This public health tyranny needs to be stopped.
I regret to report that Melbourne’s answer to Mao Zedong has decided that he really rather enjoys being able to tell people exactly what they have to do and has no intention of stopping any time soon. Chairman, sorry, Premier Dan Andrews of Victoria is trying to railroad a bill through the legislature that would allow him to keep the current state of emergency going for another 12 months.
