RE: The StressFree baseball thread

Abbott and Costello! Who's on First?

RE: The StressFree baseball thread

I would vote for "The Pride of the Yankees" (The Lou Gehrig story)...a classic. Chokes me up every time I hear "Today...I consider myself the luckiest man on earth"

RE: why do all woman

Yes, my cheek is swollen quite a bit...I'm just pressing a bag of frozen peas against it every 30 minutes or so for awhile. I'll try to find out what Anica is, but I'm not sure if I'll find it here. Anyway...thanks for the well-wishes.
Boban, sorry for the temporary hijack of your thread.
Now, carry on about how women just go blah, blah, blah, etc. grin

RE: why do all woman

Thanks, J.D. I hope so, too. I'm sure it will be fine soon, but it hurts like hell right now. Ugh! crying

RE: Happy Birthday, Ambrose!

Xronia Polla kai na eisai panta kala kai na zeis yia akoma seranda xronia! happy birthday
(Happy Birthday and I wish you to be always well and to live another 40 years!)
(Best I could do with my limited Greek!)

By the way....I had a chat with Dionyssos earlier. He's agreed to give you some of his wine for your celebration! teddybear

RE: Wake up Obama - 150 dead and still counting

Where is Mikheil Saakashvili?
Is it only OUR President who should speak out against injustices in the world? Do you not hold your own president to the same principle? When your back yard is free of debris, then you can come and ask me to clean up mine.

RE: what was your pet name as a child

Ahhhh, you're all grown up now, eh a**hole? rolling on the floor laughing
(You know I'm kidding, I hope!)

RE: where and when?

The campout sounds like a lot of fun, but I only have time to visit family and friends in 3 states; no time to add New York to the agenda. But roast a marshmallow or two for me, ok?

RE: what was your pet name as a child

rolling on the floor laughing Nice, Dru! I guess it beats being called "Lucky"!

RE: where and when?

rolling on the floor laughing Oooh, you're a bit of a devil, aren't you? rolling on the floor laughing
Doing great, thanks....but tired and off to bed in a minute or two.

RE: where and when?

5 days in Atlanta, 4 in San Francisco, and 4 more in North Carolina (family is scattered)...then back to Greece for a REAL vacation! (5 nights on an island, as yet undetermined)

RE: where and when?

Awwww, I was only kidding you....flirt away.

RE: where and when?

Meant that for Azucarmorena!

RE: where and when?

Hi, Atlanta! I'll be back there in a few weeks, to see my son and some friends. Keep the tea brewing (for the iced tea, of course), keep some grits on the stove, and save me a Chic-Fil-A sandwich...I'm coming home!

RE: Finding a place to live.

I'm not sure that West Virginia has a "good gay community" and I'm not being sarcastic in the least. Have you not considered a more "gay-friendly" environment?

RE: where and when?

Well, now, perhaps you DO need to narrow it down a bit! laugh

RE: where and when?

I think it's a given that most people will "test the waters" a bit with more than one, at least for a time. After all, initial contact is just a very early beginning...it could lead to something, or it might not. I don't consider it cheating to correspond with more than one when you are in the very early stage of interest. If I thought that every man who wrote to me here was interested in me ONLY as a potential partner, to the full exclusion of every other woman on this site, I'd be kidding myself (deluding, actually). When does it become "cheating"?
When you are deceptive in what you say and what you do, the same as in "real life"...when you lead someone on and you are doing so with more than one woman.

RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY WIX

Happy, happy day, Wix! cheers cake danceline

Here's to Mrs. Hayes

At least it was far better than the threat letters that we often receive!

RE: what was your pet name as a child

Fifi. grin

Here's to Mrs. Hayes

been to or HEARD of...

Here's to Mrs. Hayes

I've been to Xania (Hania or Chania), Rethymno, Plakies, and a few other small village areas in Crete, but I've never been to or hear of Stalis. I'll have to check it out! Kalo taxidi! (That means "have a good trip!)

RE: Importance of Laughter

I laugh every day...sometimes at circumstances or at other people, but often at myself. I treasure laughter...no matter the source.

Here's to Mrs. Hayes

Will you be in Crete, Vonney? I hope you have a wonderful time! If you pass through Athens and need anything....any suggestions or assistance of any sort, let me know. I'd be pleased to show you my Athens, or to assist in any way.

Here's to Mrs. Hayes

laugh I just hope that, when it's my turn to go, my wish to be scattered in the Ionian Seas isn't miscontrued as "Any old sea"!

RE: tired of hearing about michael jackson

Probably the loneliest man on the planet, while alive. Good, bad, guilty, or innocent...he is gone and I refuse to speak ill of the dead (with the possible exception of Ted Bundy or someone of his ilk). Let's remember his music, for beyond that we will never be certain what happened. Money, and the enticement of what it may bring, creates tremendous evil.

Here's to Mrs. Hayes

I'm afraid that you'd have to reduce yourself to ashes, dear Robert. And that would do neither of us any good! hug

RE: Dose size matter.

At the end of the day, size is really not the most important thing, but it would be dishonest to say that it is not noticed. A man with less that gargantuan proportions can be the best of all lovers if he is in tune to his woman and if he is confident with his body. Big feels good....but attention and genuine giving feels even better.

Here's to Mrs. Hayes

If my loved ones and friends never hear anything else from me, hear this: "Scatter me in the Ionians....let me mix in with the turquoise waters that bring me such tranquility in life...let me languish there in death."
Hear that. Please.

RE: Couples and CS....

If I should ever find "the one"...I'd be history here, faster than you could say "who the hell was she?"
