A better state of humanity

With the growing population of our planet and with all the volatile political climate our world is going through, would anyone think, or feel or hope that a better state of humanity is possible?

Can man as a whole ever achieve what is perfect? Or is it too much to ask and therefore impossible to attain? Therefore settle with the acceptance that it is a matter of luck if and when we are not afflicted with all these current illness and challenges mankind is experiencing specially at this time and age? In example war, poverty and terrorism?

Note: I am lucky, I feel blessed and thankful, I live in a better country compared to the rest of the world. What I mean better is the fact that I have freedom, I can work as hard as I can and gets paid for my worth. I have a decent health insurance and respect is predominantly the norm than the exception.

I wish that all of the 80 percent of the world who lives in poverty and missing out on what freedom and opportunity provides, would have a chance to live as the first and second world do. I really do.

The question is: who's fault is it that there are more poor people in the world than not? The better question is, how can we achieve to eliminate economic inequality?

What a Game, New England Patriots, What a Game.

They were beat up at the first three quarters of 21 to nothing...

I felt like those days when I was watching the 49ers with Joe Montana ending the game so spectacularly.

This time it is Brady.. Tom Brady will go down in history with this game. And the whole New England Patriots of course

This is one of the best game ever that I have watched...What a twist...Just when I thought my team is losing...

What a game...

Socialism

A friend sent me this and I thought it's a very interesting information to share.

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan... All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... " (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. Could not be any simpler than that.

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and are all applicable to this experiment:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

cheers

Life is How You Make It

From the day we are born to the day we die, life is all about learning. Everything else happen either as done to us or we do to another, or our action affects others as vice versa.

One thing I know is that in this world, there are so many choices we can do. That is of course provided we have the freedom to do those that we want to do.

In my country, we live by the principles of freedom. The ability to do anything we want provided we don't aim at hurting and or killing people. Unfortunately most of us people are born with impaired judgment and sometimes we do things that hurt others. Those that deliberately do harm others are the ones that pay high in the name of justice. Doesn't mean to say those that have accidentally hurt others don't get to pay, just that it is a bit lighter.

Where am I going at? To present the fact that life is full of ups and downs, cruelty and kindness, love and hate, peace and war. Unfortunately we are not always able to control these circumstances but one thing I know is that if you are a very negative person, chances are, your life revolves around negativity like hate and the undesirable emotions associated with it. Of course, the better part of life is being positive and the same way. I observed that all the good stuff prevail in one's life.

I am not a hate advocate under any circumstance. I love peace and all the good part of life. But like the promise of my Catholic religion, perfect and sinless life only happens in heaven and that is determined when we are accounted for in the gate of St. Peter. Not that I don't believe that, it is just that I do have a glimpse of that state even right here in this world.

My point in all this?

Just because I talk all about the evil things other do to others doesn't mean I am a hate monger. But if you look at it that way? That is your choice. Choose well.

I have a very good life. I live free and very happy. I have good children and lovely grand children. My children do absolutely adore me and those that I work with. Yet my passion is to find a solution to end all these problems. Unfortunately, we have to face things as they are. If you think I am a hate monger? That is your perception. I wish you would see and feel my desire to find peace from all of us.

Thank you all for reading and or commenting.

Curtain Rods

A dear friend sent it to me and just wanted to share.

Very clever.

CURTAIN RODS --- PRICELESS

On the first day, she sadly packed her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases.
On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things.
On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining-room table, by candle-light; she put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of spring-water.

When she'd finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimps dipped in caviar into the hollow center of the curtain rods.
She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.

On the fourth day, the husband came back with his new girlfriend, and at first all was bliss.
Then, slowly, the house began to smell.
They tried everything; cleaning, mopping, and airing-out the place.
Vents were checked for dead rodents, and carpets were steam cleaned.

Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought into set off gas canisters, during which time the two had to move out for a few days, and in the end they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked!
People stopped coming over to visit..
Repairmen refused to work in the house.
The maid quit.

Finally, they couldn't take the stench any longer, and decided they had to move, but a month later - even though they'd cut their price in half - they couldn't find a buyer for such a stinky house.
Word got out, and eventually even the local realtors refused to return their calls.
Finally, unable to wait any longer for a purchaser, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.

Then the ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house.
She listened politely and said that she missed her old home terribly and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for having the house.
Knowing she could have no idea how bad the smell really was, he agreed on a price that was only 1/10th of what the house had been worth... but only if she would sign the papers that very day.

She agreed, and within two hours his lawyers delivered the completed paperwork.
A week later the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home ..... and to spite the ex-wife, they even took the curtain rods!

Killing in Quebec Mosque

My friend from Switzerland and England shared me their fears of rapid growth of altercations in their countries.

Then, this came out of the news.

It's still being assessed as to what is going on.

One of my poster from forum contributed the video but I don't know how to post the link.

Extreme Vetting For Refugees

Trump signed an order to safeguard our safety by issuing extreme vetting of refugees.

I hope this will in fact make sure we're safe as hoped.

The question is, with the border still the same, how safe are we? Really? Terrorists are smart. They can avail themselves for an easy entry there not as refugees but illegal migrant.

With the blog below, maybe there is more to understanding the causes of terrorism and why Trump is bent to stop these acts to destroy and or harm us.

What a lesson learned

At this time and age, I can really say learning comes painfully with a price. But being punished for an offence so rightfully deserved can bring a very good insight if not a complete redesign of goals and direction.

It is very apparent that for every issue there is not only two sides but in fact so many sides, up, down, right, left and over head. I learned that when it comes to politics, there is no need to argue really unless the position you take requires for the action of which will generate the very exposure of what is right and or wrong. Much like that of Hillary and Trump before the election. They were the true catalyst of change and the result of that position emerging as the victor do affect our country of the US and that of the world. Politics is no longer isolated. the world has become so intertwined and that leaders of the world are very much either for or against each other. And we, the people, whether we like it or not do get affected as a result of those relationship forged and or severed.

Anyways, as a result of my very staunch position of my support for my elected President arguing against those who oppose him like Streep I have paid a heavy price of being in jail for exactly 30 days. lol At least there is so many of you who must have been so happy in my absence and hope that I will not even come back anymore.

For those who wrote me and asked me what happened on private mail, thank you very much. Specially to Ms. Witch and the many who communicated with me while in jail.

What a relief to be released and thank you CS for your understanding. Actually, I thought it would be a 90 days and or perhaps a year. Anyways, greetings to all.

It's Official: Trump is the 45th President of the United States of America

With Hawaii still to vote, Trump had 304 votes and Clinton had 224. It takes 270 Electoral College votes to win the presidency. Texas put Trump over the top, despite two Republican electors casting protest votes.

This is from ABC News, just published right now.

For all of those who voted and supported Trump like myself, we can finally put this election to rest and move on.

For the losers, better luck next time. But definitely not a chance for Hillary Clinton as her loss is historic in the history of the United States and perhaps the world being the first woman to run twice for the same position and lost.

What happens if China refuses to return the navy drone they stole?

This is interesting.

What's ahead between China and the US as a result of stealing the US Navy drone.

First it was located 56 miles west of the Philippine's bay which is an International water.

Second what's possible implications can possibly affect the two countries' relationship?

Anyone?

Note: China had been building massive military post in disputed waters and now this.

Time Magazine's Person of the year

Trump, as expected is the recipient this year.

I know there's a lot of other people deserving to be given this yearly recognition and so my question is who would have you preferred and why?

Thanks for your read and comments if any.

Trump as a mysoginist? I don't think so.

For anyone to claim that Trump is a mysoginist, one should and must know who he is and what justifies this deragatory word against him.

First, he couldn't have been married and sustained a very enduring relationship to not one, nor two, but three beautiful and successful women at different times.

Second, it couldn't have been right for her daughter Ivanka to declare that, his father not only put women in the middle and top level management of his billion dollar empire but that he accorded them equal if not better pay than men when most of the corporate world denied this practice to women.

These two alone would make me feel that anyone who claims him to be the definition of what mysoginist is, as quoted below is so wrong , if not outright narrow minded.

MYSOGINIST from dictionary.

"a person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women.
synonyms: woman-hater; "

Go ahead challenge me. Perhaps we should change the meaning?
