Hours before the Foo Fighters band were set to perform at Festival Estéreo in Bogota, Columbia, 50 year old Drummer Taylor Hawkins was found dead in his hotel room. Toxicology report shows he had several prescription and illegal drugs in his body.
As a result of the death of their drummer, Foo Fighters have announced they are cancelling all of their remaining tour dates.
What's to become of the band?
My prediction is they will return to the United States, go into hiding for a few months and quietly audition a replacement drummer to get back on the road and possibly return to South America to honor those cancelled tour dates. Although Taylor was an integral part of the band, it's not like Led Zeppelin where the death of John Bonham ended the Zeppelin experience.
Dave Grohl, drummer, guitarist, front man and founder of Foo Fighters has seen death before. He was the drummer for Nirvina that disbanded when Kurt Cobain ended his life from suicide by gunshot.
Admit it, Taylor was a drug addict. Dave almost lost him from an earlier incident and there were no stopgaps in place. He killed the musical careers of the other band members.
Should they disband, Grohl, will survive. I cannot say what would happen to the others without Dave. Would they fade away into obscurity without Dave?
That would be a bad case of no Foo without you...

It's not often I see a profile on CS with someone smoking/lighting up a joint. Today, there was an attractive woman with a clear shot of her lighting up!
A few years ago on POF there was a high percentage of members exhibiting their drug addiction. Usually, it was young guys. My opinion was "It's an advertisement of their lifestyle to attract women who share the same lifestyle." kinda like trouble breeds trouble.
They had a section where the members could review photos of other members and help management (sorry for lack of a better term) 'weed out' photos that weren't proper... or those photos that didn't comply with their rules.
It was a huge site that had thousands of members online at any point in time. That presented a problem for management as they didn't didn't have the ability to go through every photo, so they asked members to volunteer and notify them of photos that needed to be adjusted or removed.
Some of the choices were blurred or faceless photos, single photos of kids, photos of violent activity, weapons, drugs or drug paraphernalia. Probably the biggest reason to get your profile closed was nudity. CS doesn't attract the masses and appears to have fewer problems with non-compliant photos.
I wouldn't mind seeing a 'hot or not' section where members can anonymously vote on photos they like or like to see removed.

Actually, I would think the dog was stolen and a reward like that would entice the thief to come forward to get that reward money... at which point the arraigned meeting would also have detectives nearby to capture the person(s) responsible for the theft of the dog.

Several months ago some programming changes appeared to the blog page allowing comment numbers, comment likes and a simplification of quoting a specific comment.
The glitch appears that when the person who wrote the blog (OP) locks the blog, as some have found a way to bypass the lock and continue making comments after the OP decides 'enough is enough' and from this we have a mild case of pandemonium breaking out.
I see an instant mood change for those who can get in to a locked blog.

I didn't know what Tahini was so I looked it up.
Tahini is ground Sesame seeds. Actually, it's Sesame and oil.
I'm afraid to ask what oil they use in Tahini as I rudely found that vegetable oil doesn't come from a vegetable, it comes from Soybeans and Soybeans are Legumes... technically classified as a group of plants whose seeds grow in enclosed pods, like peas and peanuts.
So now, I'm buying containers filled with a mixture of alternate names that is high in fat, carbohydrates with protein... and (get this) is considered healthy!

On Saturday morning I attended a Heli-Smack-Fest in South Miami.
It was a 3-day multi-fest that included competition, sport flying and exhibition stunt flying where some of the best pilots were in attendance.
All of the top flyers were sponsored by hobby manufacturers so you can see groups of them in team shirts and hats advertising the products they fly.
I got up close (30 feet) to one guy's flight. He is regarded the best in the world and many of his maneuvers were so fast I couldn't figure them out as his helicopter flew by at over 90 miles per hour!
I rated him as the 'Eddie Van Halen of Helicopters'
