Completing the new Star Wars game!

Yesterday at around this time, I booted up the new Star Wars game on my PlayStation. Jedi: Fallen Order, is the name of it.

I completed the storyline 5 minutes ago. So how's it like?

Well, it's a brutal, tricky, savage, irritating and amazing piece of gaming. They DID say it was a mix between Dark Souls and a good old fashioned adventure platform game, and I really loved that. I played on story mode for the most of the game, but that was so I could enjoy the game even more. And enjoy it, I did.

It's a fantastic game, with a way too short of a story. But we do get to say hello to a few old favorites from the franchise!

8/10!

Time for the weekend - tomorrow!

Another week is just about to finish, and what a week it's been. I have been working hard, which I can feel. I am so tired, to the point where I can sleep pretty much any time of the day. I might just go to be early, for a change. It might help with my energy levels tomorrow. It's a big day, since the new Star Wars game is released! Jedi Fallen Order, is the name, and I have secured my copy. Paid in full. All I need to do, is to go down to the store and go "I have a game on order, and I would like to have it, please".

I might also be getting a visitor on Saturday, just for a few hours. We might just watch a movie or something. But nothing is 100% confirmed yet. I will know on Saturday. If no visit comes, I will just play some more Star Wars.

Cinema-"date"

I recently wrote about a friend of mine, K, who were going through some very hard times. She's now back on her feet, and it's been a while since I have seen her, so we are heading to the cinema today, to watch the new Terminator. Dark Fate, is the title of it, and it looks pretty fantastic!

We are going to be seeing it in the IMAX format, since a Terminator movie HAS to be seen like that! It's been a while since I have seen a good Terminator film, so I am hoping this is the one where I go "Yes. Awesome! Thank you!"

Before the movie, we are getting something to eat and might go shopping a tiny bit. It's gonna be a great evening, I can just tell!

I am strangely nervous, though. It's weird, since I don't have to be nervous at all. It's a friend, we know each other well. It's just, it's been a very long time since me and her saw each other.

Anyway, BRING IT ON!!

And no, before you begin, its NOT a date, as such. We are just hanging out. There will be no cuddling, kissing or anything else. A hug, yes, but nothing else!

More shifts at work, temperature change and bad drivers!

Recently I have begun loving where I am. To the point where I called the temp agency, and said "If there are any chance, I would love to continue working there".

About 30 minutes later, I got an email and a text, saying I was getting an extension. I now have work throughout November, which is fantastic! I make almost no mistakes, and my times are rapidly improving. Besides that, the people there are fun to be with and to talk to.

On the subject of people I work with.. There is this woman there.. She's 23, Polish, wears glasses and is HEAVILY tattooed. We are talking on both arms and on her hands. She is quite possibly the most beautiful thing there, and she's super nice to talk to as well. Am I in love? No. Am I smitten? Oh, absolutely! Let's call her A. A and I get along very well, so it'll be exciting to see what it ends with. It might just be a friend, but you never really know, right?

Enough of that, let's talk about the temperature for a bit. It seems like a freezer has been activated here in Denmark, because it's getting COLD here. Like, properly cold. Almost to the point, where the puddles on the ground turn into ice. Eugh! At least I won't have to spend too long outside, which is great! They have not ruled out that snow will come soon. I don't hope we get a blizzard. That would suck!

Something else that sucks - the bus drivers. I have to take the bus to work and back. It's 55 minutes of driving, which sometimes turn into over an hour, due to traffic. The drivers of the bus I am taking has to be the single worst drivers out there. Usually, when you brake, you apply an even pressure on the brake pedal. Not these drivers. They make little taps on the brake pedal, making the entire bus shake backwards and forwards. Sometimes they just step on the brake, so we, the passengers, almost go flying. I have lost my balance once due to a driver just hammering on the brake pedal. I am gonna write to the bus company about it, to ask if the drivers have learned proper brake technique.

That's all for now!

I wonder why he thought that was a good idea!

Nicholas Godfrey, an 18-year-old student at Fivay High School, sent an Instagram DM offering $100k to have a staff member killed.

Where did this take place? In Florida, naturally. Nicholas Godfrey is the next Florida Man story!

When the law arrested him, he explained it was a joke, and that he didn't mean to follow through with the threat. So now, because of an extremely unfunny joke, he is now facing first degree felony charges - which can quite possibly ruin his future.

Florida really is a weird place.

Please note: Just because I say "Florida, naturally", does not mean that I say that Florida is just these cases - it's just that whenever you hear something extremely weird, 9 times out of 10, it's somewhere in Florida!

It's the weekend!

After a very long week, it's finally time to relax and catch up on things.

I started by watching It Chapter Two, which was very good! Not scary at all, but it wasn't supposed to be a
scary horror movie.

I have also decided something - due to some people not being able to control themselves, I will not mention R again - at all.

So, now that's out of the way, it's time to figure out what to do this weekend. I am going to my brothers birthday tomorrow, so that's something to look forward to. The rest of my weekend, will be spent on video games and sleep. I need to catch up on both, if I am honest.

A short blog today, but I don't really have much to talk about these days.

R came by this weekend - and it was a lot of fun!

Thursday evening after work, I went to Copenhagen to pick up R. She was going to attend an open house on Friday, so she arrived a day before.

It was so nice to see her again! We spent a weekend together, filled with laughs and joy. On Saturday, we went to the Operahouse to attend a flea market, and then we went shopping. She also dropped a huge piece of news: She was dating someone. I was truly happy for her, which I let her know. I actually didn't feel any bad things when she said it. As long as she is happy, then I am happy. She went home Sunday evening, and she gave me a huge hug when she boarded the train.

Even if she's dating someone, she's still gonna come here to spend time with me, which I am thankful for. So now you can all stop making suggestive comments towards R and me. Her and I will never be together, which I am okay with. We work best as friends anyway, so starting to date each other will just end badly.

We do love each other, a lot, but strictly as friends. Of course we hug and cuddle, but we have never kissed or made out. I am 100% positive, that IF that was to happen, it would just be super awkward.

In other news, work isn't really going the way I want it to go. I have this week and next week there, and after that I am going somewhere else. I have a place in mind, that I want to go to.

Plus the work is draining me. I spend around 2 hours EACH way on transport. The job I am looking at, is on the opposite side of the highway here, a trip that will last me around 20 minutes by bus. If the salary is the same, I will for sure take that job.

I am officially in love!

Yes, I will admit it. To all of you reading this blog: I am in love!

I have discovered something so amazing and wonderful. Something that brings a smile to my face, and that leaves me singing to the birds. It leaves me wanting more. Every time our time together ends, I feel sad. I want more, all the time! So I am sitting here, thinking on how amazing it is when we are together.

When did this love begin? It began the moment I put on the album and let the songs flow. Yes, I am in love with the new Alter Bridge album called Walk The Sky!

Admit it, you though this blog was about something else!

Voting done and other things!

Today, I woke up at around 8 am, and I slowly got out of bed. I am not really worth anything in the morning, so it takes some time for me to really get going.

I then remembered: It's election day! That made me happy, because I love living in a country where elections are free and fair. Free from large donations and corporate superpowers. Free from persecution, free from punishments.

Just free! Freedom is one of the things I value the most. From the freedom to believe what you want to believe to the freedom of the press. Our PM doesn't call the media "The enemy of the people", of something bad is written about him. He doesn't resort to nicknaming his political opponents. He is a fair guy, who does he best job that he can. It so happens, that I disagree with most of the things he does as a leader. That is why, I have voted for the opposition.

Now, I am awaiting the results, which will be in at midnight tonight, so there is some time to kill. And what better thing to do than apply for jobs and play some video games!

Also, I am expecting a call today, regarding a job abroad. That puts my whole "Joining the Danish army"-thing redundant, though. I'll take it one day at a time.

Happy Constitution day to my fellow Danes, and happy Wednesday to everyone else.

So R came by..

She spent just around 24 hours here, and then she went home again. She had to attend the Cher gig last night, so she needed a place to crash. She is always welcome here, which she knows.

The visit went as I thought it would. A few awkward silences, but it was nice to see her again. She will be back on Friday, for some movie work, so she's gonna crash here as well. I like having her around, since I have someone to talk to in bed.

I also made sure not to make the same mistakes as before, so her and I are alright again. When it was time for her to leave, I went with her to Copenhagen to see her off, and to buy her birthday present. I am 99% sure I picked the correct item, but I will know on Friday!

Now I can just relax and pass the time until I have to work tomorrow. It'll be nice coming back.

The weekend!

It's that time again. It's Friday, which means it's the start of the weekend. I have had a great day today at work. But it wasn't good for someone else.

One of the temp workers texted me yesterday, asking me if my shifts were cancelled. I told her "Not that I am aware of", to which I got no reply. Then this morning, I found out that she was replaced by someone else - and that someone else was one of the guys I worked with at my other temp job. It was quite strange walking into the staff room to see that dude sitting there. He was briefed on how to work, and then he began working. As did I.

Lunch was amazing! Entrecôte! In French, entrecôte is a premium cut of beef used for steaks. In the English speaking world, an entrecôte is known as a ribeye. It was cooked perfectly, so it was amazing lunch! Later on there were cake and other goodies.

I also heard from R. She is still bummed that she can't come here this weekend, which I am as well. I would have loved to see her again, even when I saw her on Tuesday and Wednesday. She left some clothing here that she was gonna wear for her movie shoot. She'll get the clothing back when she comes again. It should be soon. I am just waiting for her to say what date she will come over.

So until that day, I will just spend some time with video games and other stuff!

By the way, she is not using my place as a hotel whenever she likes to. She is always asking me if it's okay if she's spending a few days with me, and I always say yes. She'll save money on the hotels, and I get to see her as well.

What a week so far!

I have started a new job this week, at a place called EET Group. They are the leading storage facility when it comes to electronics. We are talking headsets, iPhones, iPads, keyboards and much more. Monday went fine, but with a few errors. Monday evening, I indulged in some chicken, which lead me to get a light food poisoning. I was home the next day, which was the day that R came by. I picked her up from the station, and then we just went home to relax.

Wednesday was not better. I was still feeling the food poisoning, but at least I got some sleep. A lot of sleep. It was nice to sleep in, while having some company.

Today I went back to work, and let me tell you: I am exhausted. I can sleep whenever, and where ever. I just need to get Friday done, and then I can finally sleep in on Saturday. The plan was for R to come tomorrow night, but her movie-shoot was cancelled, so she's probably coming over sometime next week.

So yeah, my week has been a bit rough. The only highlight was seeing R. I don't really feel at ease with my new job. I will give it two weeks. If I don't feel better about it, I am not going to continue with it. It's not nice being there, if I don't like it.
