What's next for Trump?

An anonymous source has revealed, that Trump knows he has lost. He is also a bit angry over his loss to Biden, but he also enjoys the chaos he is creating. Apparently, "The President is supporting one outlandish conspiracy theory after another. He is not necessarily believing any of them, but he knows they sow chaos, which gives him time to think about what is next".

So.. What IS next for Trump, when he leaves The White House next year. He needs something else to throw his attention towards, except golf and Twitter. What could that be? Here are my four possible picks.

4: A new book deal!

Trump could easily sit down with a ghost writer to write a memoir about his time in The White House. People will buy it. He has 71 million possible books to sell, so why not cash in while he can? Rumor has it, that he is set to receive offers in excess of 100 million dollars. He could also cash in on TV and movies as well

3: Consulting work for a TV station!

Speaking of TV.. It is no secret, that Trump likes the spotlight. He could possibly become a commentator on Fox News or OANN. OANN seems most likely, since Fox News seems to take a more hardline stance on Trump.

2: His own TV network!

He could call it MAGA-TV, and he could easily pull some big names with him. Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs and Tucker Carlson of Fox News, since he seems to like them the most. He could possibly buy OANN andrename it MAGA-TV. People would watch, definitely!

Honorable mentions!

This wouldn't be a list, without honorable mentions. Trump could throw his attention to his empire, and relaunch some of his previously failed brands. Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka and Trump: The board game seems like the obvious choices. He could buy a cattle farm and raise the cattle for his steaks, grow some potatoes for the vodka, and the board game would sell like hotcakes!

This brings me to number 1:

He could go in full 2024 mode, and decide to run for President again. Assuming that his base stays intact, that is 71 million+ people who would vote for Trump again. I know there are many that would like to see Trump in jail, or at least prosecuted for felonies he committed before he was elected POTUS.

In either case: Once the states certifies their results, it will be over for Trump. Then the USA can go back to having a President, that is perhaps a bit boring and normal. Someone who hasn't been on television as a reality host. Whatever happens, I will be watching with excitement.

My future is pretty much set!

A few weeks ago, I enrolled in a school, where I could study to become a trucker. The school would give me three licenses: Car, truck and trailer. I sent in the paperwork, and I was told I would hear from them closer to the start date. I got the call yesterday.

They would like to schedule an interview with me on Friday the 20th, just to get a sense of the level of my education and experience, and then they will plan the education around that.

This means, that my future job is set in stone - I am going to be a truck driver! Well, not immediately, of course. In 4 years time, I will be one. It takes time to learn how to drive a truck, learn about how to load a trailer and all the other bits and stuff. I would love to become a long distance truck driver! Driving loads from Denmark to Spain, for example. I could also branch out, and become a courier, Frank Martin style. For those of you who don't know who he is, he's a fictional character played by Jason Statham. He is a former soldier and now highly skilled driver/mercenary residing in the South of France whose callsign is "The Transporter". He strictly follows three rigid rules when transporting:

Once a deal is made, it is final
No names
Never open the package

Of course, I can't boast the ex-soldier bit.. Well actually, I can.. Ish.. It's a long story, that I will share later. Anyway, the point is: I would love to be that kind of transporter type person. Of course, not meddling with the criminal scum of the world, but you know.. Transporting, for example, a vase from one side of Paris to another, often cheaper than the regular courier services. Or maybe I will just stick to regular trucking. We'll see. All I know, is that I have pulled the trigger on the truck driving thing.

Also, I have been playing a lot of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. It's a brutal third person action RPG set in the viking age. The main character is a viking called Eivor, who is thrust into an adventure, when her clan decides to settle in England. Here she meets all sorts of bad people, including priests, zealots, assassins and the Templar Order.

I am 35 hours into the game, and they say it takes around 60 hours to complete. I have some way to go!

Maryland man charged with threatening to kidnap and kill Joe Biden and Kamala Harris

Some lowlife, who was “upset at the political situation”, was charged by federal authorities with threatening to kidnap “Grandpa Biden” and rape his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, and then kill them both, according to a report on Wednesday.

The man in question, allegedly dropped a letter detailing the threats on the doorstop of a home with Biden/Harris campaign signs in Frederick on Oct. 4.

Is this REALLY what this has come to? First a group of lowlifes are being charged with plotting to kidnap a governor, and now this man has been charged with wanting to kidnap and kill Biden and Harris.

Naturally, this "model citizen" is being held without bond. I can't for the life of me get, why some people think it's fine wanting to kidnap and kill political figures.

Jeez..

I now know the location of 5 US states!

Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina. Thank you, Chuck Todd! Yes, I have, as many of you, been following the US election. I watched it all on the NBC and ABC YouTube channels, and on CNN via the magic of live streams. The result was obviously not in everyone's favor, but the American people has spoken with mail in ballots. Some might say it's fraudulent, while others say no fraud has taken place. In the end, it looks like the courts will have to decide.

Now, I am a humble European, interested in the US election. I have been ever since I remember. I remember Obama winning in 2008 and in 2012. I remember Trump winning in 2016. I remember when Clinton had to defend against a scandal involving a WH intern, and I remember when Bush jr. was the Commander in Chief.

I admit, I am team Biden. Most will disagree with me, which is fine. Like your new assumed President elect said: "We may be opponents, but we are not enemies". If you are a Trump supporter, that's fine with me. I am sure you are a fantastic person, with love for your family and country. I just don't subscribe to the right wing agenda. Am I happy that Trump is out? In a way. We might get some sanity from the big house on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I will miss the rage tweeting from Trump, though. Has he been a good President? Well, from my little European eyes, not really. But I only see the person that is shown to the World. I am not affected by his policies. Well, maybe one or two, but not the tax cuts or anything like that.

All in all, congratulations to Joe Biden. And to Trump, good luck in your future endeavors.. Not that he's gonna see this, though.

Quarantine Day 3!

Ah yes, another day in quarantine.

Yesterday was alright. Nothing serious happened. Well.. They closed the borders, so no foreigners can enter, which is the wettest dream that ANY racist can have! We are effectively becoming a closed off nation. If you want to read about that, here's a link for that:

So what did I do yesterday? Well.. I kind of panicked and bought a new gaming chair. It is supposed to arrive next week, and I advised them to leave it outside the door, and send me a text, once it's been delivered. You might be thinking "But Philipsen, you said, that the entire country was shut down. How can you get a new gaming chair, if the country is shut down?"

A valid question. You see, the private sector and small businesses with less than 50 employees, are still open for business. The company I bought my chair from, has around 25. So for them, it's just business as usual. Even my brother is working, because he is in the private sector.

So this chair.. What does it look like? Well.. Like this

It is GLORIOUS! It will really give me huge comfort in these quarantine times, and it will help me perform better while playing DOOM on full volume. I'm gonna be the best demon slayer EVER!

But if I can just be serious for a moment. I wrote a message to my American friend, that I was gonna visit later this year. I told her, that with all this quarantine stuff going around, and a travel ban, her having her newborn and general mayhem and medieval tendencies in the general population, that I would be forced to cancel my trip. She wrote me back, saying that she totally understood, and that the US was crazy with all the hoarding. So now I have to get in touch with my booking agent, who I bought the trip from, and hear if I can at least get my money back. If I can't, well that's just tough luck. I am not gonna flip tables or anything if I can't get my money back.

I have 11 days left of my quarantine. 11 long days. I plan to spend that time playing Eve Online. I just resubscribed to their Omega subscription thingy, so now I have the ability to make BANK in that game! I am thinking of starting mass production of missiles and weapons in general. People in that game will pay top ISK for quality missiles and missile batteries.

Breaking News from the Kingdom of Denmark!

The Prime Minister has just been on air, informing us all about how things are going here. In short: Not good. Yesterday, there were 750 new covid cases here, while today saw 859 new cases. That means that the infection index is rising, Currently it's 1.2 and rising, so the government are implementing more stricter measures.

The current restrictions, already in effect, will be upheld until the 2nd of January. Starting Monday, the following restrictions are taking effect:

No more than 10 family members allowed together at all times. The government are also asking the Danes, to limit the amount of people they meet, outside family, to 10.

Alcohol are not to be sold after 10 pm.

Face masks are to be made mandatory in all public spaces. That includes supermarkets, shopping malls, cinemas, hospitals, museums and education centers, just to name a few.

How do I feel about that? I really don't mind. We need to get the covid numbers down, so all these restrictions are necessary. At least until a vaccine is available. Once that gets here, I will definitely want to get it.

The government is going to look at these restrictions again in 4 weeks, to see if they work. If they do, then they will see if they can relax some of them. If it doesn't work, then more stricter restrictions are going to be implemented.

All in all, the Second Wave has hit!

Truck driver? Yeah, looks like it!

I am looking for employment pretty much everywhere, but I'm always met with "Sorry, we have picked someone else", or just flat out silence. The jobs I am applying for, are jobs I am qualified to do, so it's not like I am applying to be CEO of a big multinational corporation. That got me thinking: Would it be possible to become a trucker, even though I am almost in my forties? Well, yes. Lots of people retrain as truckers, some even older than me. But a little detail kept me from jumping at it - I need a driving license first.

Luckily, there is a school close to me, that offer driving license, truck driving license and trailer license. It's free to attend, so I was referring that info to my contact at the municipality. I got the registration sheet today, which I filled out and returned. An hour later, they received it, and they will get back to me, closer to the date I am supposed to start.

But how about the economy while I am there? What am I going to live off? Well, the first six months are the basic course, and after that, I am going to switch between school and practical work at a company. During the basic course, I am gonna be on the government mandated support system, which pays me every month to attend. However, my contact at the municipality, told me that the basic course is on what is known as a regional positive list. It basicaly means, that I can get benefits until I start the main course. That is a HUGE relief to me, because I am not sure I would be able to survive on the support system.

So - in summary: I will most likely become a trucker in 4 years time. Then, the open road awaits me. I can become a long hauler, hauling stuff from Denmark to anywhere in Europe. I can become a tanker driver, delivering fuel to fuel stations across the country. Or I can start my own courier business, where I haul packages from one place to the other, no questions asked.

Things are looking up!

Looking for a place to live is stressful!

It is not a secret, that I want to move into my own place. However, given how little I get paid per month, it's extremely hard to find my own place, unless I want to wait for 9-12 years. There are places where I don't have to wait at all, but they require a bit more money than I currently have saved up. So I am looking to find a room somewhere, preferably in Copenhagen. I would love to be close to the city, and I have found a few rooms there. We'll see how it goes and where I find one.

My absolute max budget is 5000 per month, but I am sure I can find something at that price. A few have sprung out, so I will message them in a bit. I can feel I need to get away from here, asap. So many things happening here, mainly arguments, walking on eggshells and the like.

It's not fun living here anymore.

Health update!

Yesterday was rough for me. I was SUPER tired, and I had a splitting headache plus an upset stomach. After nine (9!) hours of sleep, I woke up feeling a LOT better. My headache was gone, as was my upset stomach, so it was literally just my body saying "I NEED SLEEP AND GOOD FOOD YOU DONUT!".. Sleep is important, as is a healthy diet. These past few days, I really haven't been eating very well. Hopefully, that will change soon. I plan to do a meal prep, where I cook a LOT of food, and store it in the fridge. Maybe some chicken and some brown rice.. That is good for you and tasty, so I might actually plan for that. I just need five tupperware containers. I bet Ikea has that.

It's time to completely change my diet. To something filling and nutritious - which includes vegetables. I just need to find the ones which are good for me. It shouldn't be too hard!

Upset stomach, headaches and a new Lamborghini.

I woke up this morning at around 5.30, with a stomach that was hurting, badly. Normally, I am sleeping in to at least 7 am on a Monday morning, particularly when I don't have anything to do. So I got somewhat dressed, and went downstairs to the toilet, where.. Well.. No details, but it was bad.. I immediately thought back to what I ate the day before. A ciabatta bread, two sausage rolls and a focaccia with ham, cheese and spicy stuff. Maybe that is why my stomach was acting up. A few hours later, the headache began. That and the fact that my stomach was not acting like I wanted it to, knocked me out. I became drowsy, almost sleepy. I feel fine now, so maybe it was just because I ate something spicy. I will see how I feel tomorrow. If I have the headache, I will possibly look into booking a test for Covid. After all, two of the symptoms are headache and tiredness, but since I am always tired, then that might just be my regular thing. But I shouldn't get it. I wear a facemask on public transport, and I always sanitize my hands before I go into a shop. I maintain a 6 foot distance, so it's possible I am just having a bit of a rough day. As a precaution, I am staying inside for the next few days. If my condition gets worse, I will book the test, no doubt!

Something a bit lighter: The newest animal from Lamborghini is called the Essenza SCV12, and as the name suggests, it's a V12 powered animal with 830 horsepower. They will build 40 of them, but they are reserved for track use only! The price is 3 million Euro, and for that, the lucky people will become a part of a program that begins in 2021. The program includes storage service in a new hangar built in Sant’Agata Bolognese for the Essenza SCV12 club. Each car will have a personalized garage and dedicated services, including webcams to allow customers to monitor their cars 24 hours a day using an app. The facility also houses the “Lamborghini Squadra Corse Drivers Lab” by Tecnobody to offer athletic training programs similar to those followed by the official Lamborghini racing drivers.

The track calendar will start in 2021 with “arrive and drive” events held at numerous FIA Grade 1 homologated circuits. Assistance will be provided by the Squadra Corse technical staff with the support of Emanuele Pirro, five-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and an excellent tutor for the customer-drivers; and Marco Mapelli, Lamborghini Squadra Corse Factory Driver.

Furthermore, the car will have its own racing series!

It looks fantastic, and sounds even better!

That's what 3 million euro looks and sounds like! I am such a fan!

The name is Philipsen - Mr Philipsen!

I am a HUGE champagne lover. The brand I would most like to try, is Bollinger. However, they are a bit out of my price range, or so I thought. I saw an ad on Facebook, marking the release of No Time To Die, the latest Bond film. It's a 007 branded Limited Edition Bollinger, that is coming in a VERY cool case. Here is how 007.com describes it:

"In celebration of over 40 years of partnership as the Official Champagne of 007 and the upcoming film No Time To Die, Champagne Bollinger has produced a limited edition gift box that brings together three icons: Bollinger’s signature Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and James Bond.

The limited edition gift box features the silhouette of James Bond alongside his Aston Martin DB5. The colourway of the gift box echoes the silver birch finish of the DB5. The Bollinger lettering and logos are depicted in gold and the iconic Special Cuvée bottle has been adapted to feature a black and gold neck collar with a 007 blazon.

Champagne Bollinger worked with celebrated photographer Greg Williams, for the soon to be released Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition campaign, featuring his signature cinematic style that also appears in the No Time To Die campaign."

And here it is in all its glory:

Embedded image from another site

It was right then and there, that I decided, to get one. I feared it would be VERY expensive, since.. Well, it's a Bollinger, after all. However, I was pleased when this 007 Limited Edition came in at $62, with shipping. I don't usually pay that much for champagne, but I made an exception, since Bollinger is the brand I have always wanted to buy. The one I REALLY want to try, is the 1955 Bollinger R.D. Extra Brut. However, that bottle is VERY expensive, coming in at around $1200 on average. So I will enjoy this relatively cheap Bollinger. Or will I? I am not sure that I want to open it, since it IS a limited edition champagne. It would be a shame if I opened it up. I do have that champagne I got for my birthday. Maybe I will open that, once I get my own place. Celebrate in class and style, you know.

The Bollinger is on its way to me as I type this. I have a tracking number that I look at regularly. If all goes well, I should have it tomorrow or Tuesday.

It's gonna be SO good to get it. I will probably feel like a secret agent. Maybe I should bring a disguise or something.

Thank you, Danish government + some good news!

Before this covid crisis came, and sidelined EVERYTHING I had planned, I had saved up some money to use on a holiday. Think of it as an extra savings account. Every year, you can apply to get the money to your account, tax free. It's the same thing that happens here, so I applied for mine. I am on government benefits, but my holiday money was saved up while I was working as a temp worker. Normally, the holiday money were going to be subtracted from my benefits, but the deal they made had a little clause in it: Nobody on benefits would be subjected to having the money subtracted from the benefits, which makes me a VERY happy bunny! The holiday money are going straight into my savings account, so I have them for a deposit to an apartment. If all goes well, I will hopefully get a place of my own next year.

Also, the government is giving all of us on benefits, ONE grand tax free, just to boost the economy. There are currently 1 million 25 thousand 525 people in retirement, and 127 thousand people on benefits. In total, that is 1 million 222 thousand 524 people combined. One grand each is around 1.2 billion Danish kroner, that the government is paying out tax free. I don't know the exact number of holiday money being paid out, but they estimate around 60 billion kroner. That's an absurd amount of money. 9.4 billion US, give or take a few hundred thousand.

So therefore, I say: Thank you, government!

Also: My uncle is officially out of hospital. His surgery went well, so now he is at home, resting and recovering.
