When is the last time you allowed somebody new into your life in real life?
Hi Johnny - Last time was a man I met on MD, we became friends and over time he certainly earned my trust. Still friends by the way although I moved to another city.
Within the last year I've met several people in my community and I don't have any issues with trust with any of them so far.
I can't bring snakes to my lap and complain of them

Anyway, people don't have to trust or not trust every one. Do they? If someone starts hating the world and isolated himself from every one else just because of few untrustworthy people, it is his misery. He should pay more attention to himself than all the people who broke the trust. Why dwell on something that you yourself didn't do? We only have to answer for ourselves. Don't we?

No, I don't think anyone has to trust everyone. I don't think it is about that...I think it is about convincing yourself that everyone is bad...therefore you outlook toward people in general becomes skewed a bit to the darker side.
Why dwell on something you yourself did not do? There, that is some wisdom.
I would say if you do that while stepping on other's toes...might not be good for the whole.
