911
The phone rang last night from my neighbor around 9ish, I answered to hear "Help me". I couldn't get much more out of her other than her door is locked. I frantically searched for the key she gave me over a year ago. Never having used it since she gave it to me when I moved in meant I couldn't easily find it.When I finally got over there she was not in the house. I finally found her on the porch on her knees and hands. I couldn't lift her, she is two of me. I got a neighbor and he couldn't lift her either so I called 911. Help was there quickly, her knee buckled from under her, she hit and crashed the glass table had an knot the size of an egg on her head and off she went. She also had a trash can full of empty beer cans.
She must have texted me at 4am to pick her up but I slept through it. When I got up at 6:30 I got a text Joe was bringing her home.
She is home now and is okay. I'm not a wreck anymore either.

Time for an intervention ?
@JimN
I am sure her extra weight doesn't come from drinking beers. A CS someone once said that alcoholic drinks is the healthiest stuff on earth.
Also, one time of this happening with the neighbor is one thing. I wouldn't let it become a habit. I'd tell her to make a bed outdoors if she feels like she needs to lay down out there.
The knee just buckled. Would that be an old injury or is the bodyweight just getting too much?
That's an expression that I have not heard in a long time. Though I know it slightly different. 'May you live in interesting times'. So perhaps we're doomed. We live in interesting times and we frequent an interesting place on top of it.
