You've been flowered!!

How many women regularly check their Flower Boxes (on the site)

I must confess that I really don't take the time to do this too often and I guess its because lets face it.....these aren't real flowers. The guy clicks send flower ....OK thats nice but I know how to push a button too. Doesn't really take much effort.

Do the guys who send "cyber flowers" really mean anything by it or are they just sending out flowers for the heck of it and do the guys get flowers from women? if so how do the guys feel about receiving flowers from a woman even if they are just cyber flowers and not real?

Just curious not that there is anything wrong with that but I would feel funny sending flowers to a guy not to mention what is he gonna do with em?

I like to send flowers to women. Since I don't have home addresses for the women here all I can do is send virtual flowers. If I receive a virtual flower from a woman on CS I thank them and it shows they are thinking of me.

ya i get flower messages too..i think its sweet and it also could be those guys buy real ones too for a lady.

a german guy i met 4 years ago was able to send 2 flowers for free on online messages but he was so stingy he never even set those free ones. lol

I like to recieve virtual flower.It's a cute gesture how they show interest with a personal message...but i dont send flowers just a thank you note..

The CS folks have come up with more interesting ways for people to meet and share their thoughts and feelings. For some, the words don't come easily so the Flowerbox feature gives them a way to get the conversation started.

I've sent and I've received ... it's a cute gesture.

In real life... fresh flowers can dress up anyone's home and put a nice fragrance in the air. Real flowers are a nice gesture as well... but the CS folks can't help with the real stuff, so they do what they can.

Um, Lana? ... If the other guys and I pitched in a few bucks and sent you real flowers ... any preference? What would look nice on the dining room table?

(other ladies here... care to share your preferences? ... a little mini-hijack of Lana's blog... I think she'll be okay with it

I do check my flower box. I like the thought that goes into sending them. With me roses or lavender are my 2 favourites re real flowers. Virtual flowers it doesn't matter.

I send cyber flowers as a way to say "Hi I like you", if I get a flower or mail in return then I know that at least I am not disliked by that person. Most people that are not interested don't reply

I send and recieve cyber flowers,it seems a good way to open a way to email someone,i allways answer with email to all who send me flowers or letters,costs nothing to be polite,and,you can never know, the next could be the one for me

I agree with all of your comments. I do think that its a cute gesture though I must confess that between the emails and flowers sometimes its easy to neglect the "flower box" at times but now and then I'll check and I think "oh, how sweet"

As far as sending flowers to a guy, I guess I'm old fashioned in that it feels funny to me but if both are comfortable with that I see nothing wrong with it.

BTW Here is a nice fresh bouquet for you men & a box of chocolate for being such great sports

...and I won't even expect any of you to "put out" hows that?

Hi Lana, I would rather have the "real deal": Frangipani, roses and sunflowers I like best

I seem to always get roses in my flowerbox, I find them to be so "cliche" I guess that is because they are just Cyber flowers and I can't smell or touch them

The unusual ones are the ones I appreciate most, of course if a guy sends his own message it would also be very impressive if he could spell
