Is the end near?

Now....I don't know....this is just shear speculation...nothing more. I am writing this as to see what you think and maybe what you can add or disprove.

Back in the late 1990's, I have a very deep and long conversation with an elderly gentleman who believed the end was near us. He said from when the time, in the bible, when the hand wrote on the wall....the writing, the old man told me, was a number. He told me, add that number to the year when the hand wrote it on the wall and you will have the year when everything will end.

In addition, he told me that our whole money system will be reset and we will be forced to accept a number. If a person does not accept that number, it will not be good. For starters, you will not be able to buy or sell. Also, if you do accept it, you are in essence accepting Satan.

Here comes the politics. Trump has claimed that he was going to bankrupt our nation. This would basically reset our whole financial system. If he bankrupts our country, what will he replace money with? What will it do to the world? What will be our new way of buying and selling?

The Anti-Christ is suppose to be a very charismatic person and is said to have the answer for everything...all of the problems we face.

There is technology out there that would allow us to be all individually tracked and with databases, individually monitored.

In the Book of Revelations, it said in the end, the seven trumpets will sound....and there are seven Trumps.

If you look at all the seals each of the trumpets are said to break....it is interesting when you look at today's day.

Just something I was thinking of.

Yeah Calm,I would prefer to spend my time living than waiting to die
Non! laugh
Johnny,

the other day I was running late for my massage parlor appointment, and a train held up traffic. I kept looking for the end of it, looking and looking, and I said to myself, "Is the end near?" doh beer
No cheav, I'm not afraid of any such thing hug
Bene,

Yes, God much more powerful. thumbs up There is no doubt that Trump can be a great president for us....I just hope he will be. grin

As far as the kitty, that is Mr. Bundles....I have many fond memories of him. He was the favorite of the five cats I once owned. hug
Calm....thanks for that. It really was interesting in how he was using it. I may have to see if I can find one of those. Let us know if you discover the secret to life. grin

Non....I am hoping so too....that our mark is not coming at least. lol

Ped....interesting point. My younger friends all they talk about is something about alcohol and something about women. laugh Well, at least the conversation is much lighter anyway. rolling on the floor laughing
Pepps...that is exactly what I thought too.

Let's see now. This older guy was probably in his early 80's when I talked with him in the late 1990's. That was 20+ years ago. If he moved out into the woods then, he most likely would have passed by now....he would be in his 100's by now. That would mean, while he could have been enjoying the luxuries of his warm home...he was instead surviving off of the land....and here, we are all still living life as usual. confused Maybe he could have spent his final years in more comfort. dunno
Molly....thumbs up ....how else can we speculate about all the meanings of things without speculating? laugh
Robert....

Did you end up making it to your appointment? There is a vital rule that us men must live by.....never keep a woman waiting. laugh
Good morning every one. Having my gallon of coffee. (Reminds me of Map), Handled some phone business. I am stuck here for awhile. I picked up a big generator in my little truck, and I am waiting for its owner to drop me another rig so that he can get it home.
Calm got the book right, The Strong's Concordance. Good job.
John, the woods can get cold. Good for cuddling though!! Mmmmmmmm.
Itch, first you have to go back about 10 hours and starch out the word "you" in your comment. Then we can indulge.
Personally, I would like to have the support of the Strong's before I banter. Other wise I will get the genealogy messed up. But I am aware that there are bloggers here that could keep the names straight, etc.
Soooooo. Fun blog. Let the games begin!
Johnny do not worry so much. First you misqupte Donalf. Second tha 'Anti-Christ' (if there could be Gods in a Universe where the sun's very operation depends on there not being any such thing) is from the East, that is East from the Mid East. so, don't worry about the boy ffrom NYC, he isn't East enough. Besides some translations imply the Anti is female, although the mysogonists of the early church ignored that detail.

Inn lighter news work on my quantum matrix raygun is well underway. It works by smoothing out the peaks and valleys in the fabric of space time by ceasing all motion in whatever comes under its influence. No matter how large themass of an object not moving relative to the Universe is zero. Items without mass vanish. Recently using a Tachyon prrojector I seem to have made the star known as Cygnus X-5 vanish. The gravitational ripple effects on nearbystars are as expected, but it should settle down in a few centuries. I am working on a smaller less powerful (using a a C cell or AA battery for now) projector for personal defense which I will soon be turning over to the Philippine Navy and the NRA. Once the NRA publishes the design in gun magazines and on line, there will be no need to worry about anti-Christs.
Cheav...

It is an interesting conversation along with the many interesting comments added. It really is difficult to tell what our future has for us....but, it still seems to be a topic that many often wonder about. The elderly gentleman I spoke to back then was very convinced things were going to happen. But, I think like you said earlier...it is also good to keep an open mind on things. That could keep us on our toes. :)
rolling on the floor laughing Ken....

With all your weapons....it seems as if you have found to save the world. grin ....especially with making things vanish with no mass. thumbs up

Trump is from the east coast. lol ....but not female. moping

I suppose time will tell, until then we can only live life loving. I think anyway. thumbs up

Thanks Ken.
The end times subject is truly a fun subject to speculate upon. And the ongoing realities are easy to program into the book of Revelations.
It also states that Christs return will be at his choosing. The Bible also states that we will never be able to figure it out.
I think that Isrial, or Egypt, are mounting another expedition to seek more of the lost scrolls. Perhaps more enlightenment may come out of that? If successful?
I have a choice. I can deny or uphold belief. I figure it is in my best interest to uphold. To deny does not seem to have much of an outcome attached to it all.
Then again, I think that the book of Revelations was added pretty late in the scriptures.
There is the belief, that what one believes is what one receives. Therefore, if one does not believe in an after life in, some form, will just fade away??
All conjecture.
That is interesting Sem. It has been noted in the news, from time to time, the sounds of trumpets in the air. All across the world, and I might add, at the same approximate time.
Makes one wonder??
cheavy,

but the lost scrolls don't know anything about Christ, they talk about a clearly other person "THE RIGHTEOUS"confused ......two different things.....and in The Bible Christ is crucifixed as the Emperor wanted it to be,when all old religious sects, never come up with, that the Righteous had been on the cross.
Elaborate please Sem. I do not really agree with what you stated, but, I was not really able to comprehend all that you wrote??
cheavy,

have you read about the Essenes People, how they lived and how they was believing?

Have you read about what is in the copper scrolls, that they have found in caves?

Have you ever known about the Lost Books of the Bible, the Gospels, that is not in the Bible ? They tell a very different story about Jesus life.....the Gospels, that are left out from the Bible are making a separate book, that is almost as tick as the Bible.....you can buy it,with the title The Lost Books of the Bible and the forgotten Books of Eden.

Do you know, that the Roman Emperor are the Editor of the Bible and that there was over 600 religious, pagan and other spiritual leaders, who modified the Bible to fit as a one Book for united different believings, that is why they left so many Gospels out and changed stories in the Gospels thye took into the bible......Jesus was put to be born on the Pagan important day,to please them as they was one of the attended.

There are historical evidence about all this and they are all to be found,if we only take little time to dig after information and read trough.

Finally, have you ever read trough, the whole bible?

take carewave
Yes, as a matter of fact Sem. I have read all of those books, And more.
I always have trouble with Palms.
One read that I just loved was? Oh, can't remember the name of it. Mentioned 2 times in the bible by Christ. Considered a history book. The book of Jasser! There are two publications of it. The old publication is the recommended read.
I believe the collection of the writings were at the time of Constantine? (correct me, I think I am off there)? And it was of the Old Testimite. It did mention the coming of a Misisaia.
At that time, Christ was preaching, much like Marten Luther King. So the Roman Catholic Religion was born, and at that time pieced together the scrolls. Of course to their way of control
However, The Roman government did not want to kill Christ. It was the Pharisees that lobbied for that.
They won, and history is as followed.
The first successful translation of the Bible was King James. A really shady man. Son of Mary, Queen of Scotts.
Once again, that is where the Lost Books of The Bible come into play.
But there are hundreds of history books out there to enjoy.
Perhaps the burning of the library in Pershia would have held some interesting information. Much as the Spanish in South America.
Forgive the spelling please. You get the point.
The book of Enoch is interesting. Then there are the Smearian texts. All pieced together, it becomes a fun thought process.
I do love to read.
cheavy,

yes,I love to read too, have a library of over 1000 books and about 850 are educational.....including a lot of Holy books about different religions......I don't want to believe,I want to dig everything from all different direction, because I want to KNOW.wave
I agree Sem.
Better to be Read then Lead!
