Between the forum, the blogs and the poetry section?

They all seem to work on different time scales. In the forum the responses can be measured in seconds, whereas on the blogs, minutes slowing down to hours is more usual. In the poetry section the days and weeks go by as if life were eternal.

Oh, so many conspiracy theories and I only knew of a few. I was in elementary school when JFK was assassinated. The gun, the timing of the shots, the trajectory, a second shooter, did JFK really survive and an unknown corpse placed in his casket? Was the connection between Jacqueline Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis established by the government?

You may not have heard of him. Much of mainstream news has chosen not to report on him. He was 5 years old. Outside playing when a 25 year old man came up and shot him point blank in the head. The shooting happened 4 days ago.

Why has much of news turned a blind eye to this horrific murder? For me the answer is simple: because the little boy was white and the alleged murderer (in police custody) is black. Now i don't think it should matter a damn in a situation like this - this story should be front page news everywhere. It is a horrific murder of a very young child. But i think we also know that if the skin colors were reversed there would be a whole different kind of coverage. Now i don't pretend to know if the motive of this murder was a racist one. It certainly could be. The murderer could have been clinically psychotic or off his head on drugs. I try not to assume. Just as i didn't assume motive with George Floyd, i'm not going to assume it here. Let there be a thorough investigation and the facts come out. But really it is very very VERY sad that this story is not getting more coverage. What kind of world are we living in where a 5 year old boy out playing can be shot in the head and many news outlets choose not to report it?

Those who wish to divide think they will win. As evil has done throughout history, it will seek to divide so as to be able to rule. This time round, Covid is being used as the predicate. United, we stand - divided we fall. I refuse to do the bidding of those seeking to divide us.

We know when something is funny, but, if asked to explain exactly why it is funny, we would be hard pressed to put the reason into words. Not everyone finds the same things funny; a state of affairs that makes it even harder to come up with an explanation.

I don’t usually find s*xual innuendo particularly funny, but I often find instances of impropriety funny; thus making the overall funniness of a particular situation dependent on the proportional mix of these two elements. In a Carry On film, for example, s*xual innuendo is not very funny, but in a religious discussion it can be hilarious. Being someone who appreciates things that are funny, I regard this as fortunate; after all, Carry On films have had their day, whereas we are still waiting for Jesus’s second coming.

Should Antifa fail to heed Mr. Fanboy's advice, social upheaval in a land of hundreds of millions of firearms in the hands of tens of millions of people could be...interesting

How do y'all see this playing out?

1) Antifa overthrows the Trump Regime & the entire U.S. Government and replaces it with...actually, I'm not sure with WHAT they plan to replace it.
Their plans are a mite sketchy on this minor detail
Presumably, it will NOT be Fascist...they being ANTI-Fascist, you understand.

2) The Trump Regime/Establishment (possibly assisted by Mr. Fanboy & his associates) will prevail...successfully putting down the rebellion.

3) Potential revolutionaries will heed Mr. Fanboy's advice en masse and sit out the Civil War, which will thus fail due to lack of interest

I just want to say that I mean no offense in the words I write today or I'm just searching for answers to my questions, we are a free people and I think we're still allowed ask questions in this world we live in. And my first question is has the creator of everything abandoned us? Where has he or she gone? Does the creator sit back and watch us destroy ourselves time and time again? Why is it the creator was there and spoke to the people of old times? Some of the people the creator spoke too where! Adam and Eve, Noah and his sons, Job and his friends, Moses, Samuel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Jacob, David, Solomon, Elijah, Isaiah, Jonah, Hosea, Zechariah, Jesus and his Mother Mary, and many more, and please forgive me on the order I write these names I mean no disrespect, but all these people the creator spoke to over time and as I said many others as well, now fast forward to today and any of these people where here and they said the creator spoke to them what would happen? and that goes for most religions, I'm sure there's a creator in them! So your honest opinion please Lady's and Gentlemen what would happen? Well my opinion is any of those people today would be sent to a mental institution for symptoms of mental health problems, including psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder or severe depression. and pumped full of medication because the Positive Symptoms of Schizophrenia: Things That Might Start Happening, Auditory. The person most often hears voices in their head plus Visual. Someone might see lights, objects, people, or patterns or have visions, sound familiar? Tell me what you think? and please don't take offense to the questions I mean no disrespect I'm just a young man searching for anwers.

If there's anything more attractive than intelligent women, it's funny women.
