"I HAVE A DREAM" - Full Text by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. on today, Jan. 16, 2017, we give honor to our great civil right leader, a day after he would have turned 88 years old, had he not been killed.

Dr. King was born in Atlanta in 1929, the Baptist minister was one of the most important figures in the country’s civil rights movement. His work is also credited with putting an end to the legal segregation of African Americans with the enactment of Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. He was assassinated in 1968.

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

In a sense we have come to our nation’s capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.” But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quick sands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children.

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

Pop or Cola? Have you noticed how in different

states when you are dining out the server looks at you like you have 2 heads because she may not understand the two are but one?! laugh Between towns and states ordering the wrong word can be a mistake! rolling on the floor laughing

So, what do you call that drink, a pop?? Like I do. Or do you order a cola? Maybe something else?! dunno confused

It's been a while

Just want to say hello to all my friends here (Ed, Welela, Knenagh, Catfoot, Lavina, Bambina, Chingching, Virgo, and many more oh it's been ages I don't know who's still here and who's the new blogger), been a while I'm hiding. When you fail something sometimes you just want to crawl under your blanket as you don't feel like meeting anyone because you have no idea to say in case they ask you "How are you?". But then you miss good things too, by hiding. So here I am, back to life, will try to live it to the fullest again. Hopefully this year brings us happier time, more laugh, and more good memories.

same old story ...all over the world

i was coming back home.....from some few hours of travelling in a train...

i happen to meet a fellow passenger....a girl of 17 yearsdoh
even though she pretended like a indian....(i am very clever in knowing who is not a indian sir bobby )

there was less passengers in my compartment....so...i had the chance
to talk to her...conversing

after talking sweetly for 30 minutes....i slowly asked questions
indirectly...the answers shocked me.. help

well her story is this......she was adopted by a foreingners
from some european country (she also a european).....as she attained her puberty....she
was used for making money for her so called parents...as time
passed she started hating her parents and decided to leave them
forever...so..

she secretly made a boyfriend....that made her come to india
her boyfriend sold her to a old man....and ran away with
money....after living with the old man for a year....

she ran away from him....now travelling in the train to reach
mumbai....she had no any plansdunno doh

i was now wishing....(not talking with her in the first place because i had so many works to do...after reaching my home
and no time for anyone

frustrated ) as she kept asking me to help herconfused

so ......finally all i could do was....calling my ladies
club and telling them the whole story....my friends are real
angel 's....they told me .....that some one from welfare
department will pick up her from the end station...

what a reliefcheers

Diversity of opinions

Someone who criticizes you is probably doing so as a way to explore his/her weaknesses.someone who praises you is likely praising something in her/himself that they recognize in you. Just because another person disagrees with you doesn't mean they hate you.It means you are fortunate to live in a world where diversity of opinions can coexist. Pay attention to the opinions of others but don't let them consume you or knock you off track.Choose your actions not to impress or to please but to create the value you've chosen. You can learn much about what others say about you but you'll go crazy if you try to take every suggestions and answer every objections. Be understanding and considerate while also being your own person.Be aware and involved in the outer world while also being driven by your own uniqueness,internal dreams and values. Be thankful not offended that other people in this world are not exactly like you.And allow your own perspective to be made richer by all the different people you encounter.dancing teddybear

Its A New Venue.

I'm really happy to have a new venue to share my mind and thoughts with people. I started blogging about 3 years or so back at googles blogger.com. . Like so many people I wanted a nitch on the net, and heck maybe make some loose change even. lol. Well I never did the paypal thing, because its not the mney end of the deal, like I'm made of a million bucks lol, I'm not.

Its my heart and soul to reach people with what I believe to be sound information on current events, politics, dangers in the world and history which people aren't taught today. Wisdom. It can be found in history from some amazing people and the trials they had gone through in their life times. I heard it said nothing new under the sun, and I'm sure that is true. So learning from others has always been the way. And now with the internet we can all journey together of like hearts minds and souls even.

InRealTyme is my 1st Google blog. I guess they use it to boost their ad rates and all that, but I filter them as best as I can and I don't use their ad sense for income generation. I feel if I'm not bought, I can write about anything and be sincere and shoot straight from the hip. To me that's keeping it real. Followers is not what I am seeking either, thou I probably should. Views to me tells me their there and its anyone's guess if their actually reading it or watching the embedded videos or not lol.

The goal in blogging for me is to warn people and help people, that's it. There's a gazillion fashion, romance, photo, news outlets etc etc etc on the net, so I'm not really seeking fame or fortune. I'm there for others. To get a message I see as imperative and important others get it as well. I don't produce videos or ad copy or post for money like people do at Beforeitsnews.com and cnn and rense.com. There's a gazillion of them also and maybe someday I'll go down that road. I just think it dirties up the agenda and motivation a tad bit.

Am I trying to save the world lol. Probably. Okay thats a bit far out there, and maybe I can't save the world, but if I can help one person, one stranger in even the smallest of way, hey good for them, and may the gods look down upon me kindly. lol

So, have you checked out the videos I have been attaching? Some are so amazing. The emotions, the messages, the stories told are so incredible. Everyone communicating something to someone, to everyone, about something. Some of them are made by people with no education, phds, doctorates, ex cops, vets, house wives, moms, dads. Its clear they took the time to say what was on their hearts and minds to others. And that says alot about real people with real struggles and having real experiences, woorth talking about. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Now please be kind, as I'm not a professional writer, as anyone can tell. My sentence structure and train of thought isn't by design from a college writing course or class. lol And it'll take me abit to get used to their controls here, but I'll try to keep it clean, sometimes erotic sorta, and interesting maybe (to me anyways ) so as to not bore you to bad.

Other than that come along and comment anytime.
