Our Governor will be extending our stay-at home directive until the end of May. He expects this to peak here in the next few weeks.

I miss grocery shopping. My son does it right now and while he understands checking out what is on sale, he sometimes brings home things I just don't understand. Too many over processed things such as pre-made
pre-formed mass produced meatloaf that you heat in a microwave. Ughh! I asked "why"? He said "'cause they looked cool". For what he paid, I could have made a meatloaf that was not only better for you and tasted better but would also be enough for leftovers. These 2 tiny plastic wrapped things had better taste good. I'm all for trying new things but I don't see the logic in this. I understand for a single person - ok maybe. There are 5 of us.
Time will tell. I think we're having them tonight.

The Duke and duchess of Cambridge are visiting the Carribbean at present, and have faced opposition from inhabitants, particularly in Belize. The objection is to Britain's history and connection with the slave trade and failure to apologise. The Duke said that he was sorry for the abhorrent practice of slavery.
Should any country apologise for their wrongful acts in their history even though the present regime is not in any way responsible.
How many countries can say they have a blameless history?

I always have to chuckle when I see a profile of a widow in her 40's looking for a man 20 to 40 years older. What... they didn't learn the first time? The (out of reality) problem is making a statement you want a man to be with you for the rest of your life.

Logically, when she reaches retirement (around 65) if he is still living would be 90 years old so the chances of him being around for the rest of your live are very slim. Very slim and you can visit him in assisted living facility if you don't plan to be his nurse.

I wish I had superpowers. Yes, not just one, but different ones.

Throughout the centuries, via comic books, tv shows and movies we’ve been exposed to witches & warlocks, superheroes & villains, all with special powers/talents that amazed us during the early stages of our life. We wanted to have such talents, and some of us even pretended to.
Besides wealth, ‘superpowers’ is probably something that everyone would wish that they had. I’m certain that I’m not the only person who imagined myself having such powers/talents as a child (and even as an adult) to ‘save’ myself (and or others) during the most frustrating or frightening times in my/their life.
With all the turmoil that good people are facing in the world today, think how useful that would be. It would really have been nice if some of us (i.e. superheroes, NOT villains) had superpowers.

Whom among us is not an antagonist? There is Someone who spends their waking hours bloviating in the blog which they know little about. This person recently decided to pm me and they accused me of, among other things, being an antagonist.

An ANTAGONIST! What a terrible thing to read about oneself. Anyways, not feeling the love, this person is now blocked Blocked and may never pm me again on cs. There are now two humorless bloggers who are blocked from pm ing me.
