She is here on holiday from one of the Northern provinces and will be leaving for home on the fifteenth. I met her at a dance on the third day of her vacation. After spending a very pleasant evening together, we decided to see each other again.

To the present we dated five times and we have three more dates set before she returns. The last one is on Valentines Day. I have booked a table for us in a dark and cozy seafood joint with a small dance floor. I can only find one word to describe our dates so far and that is ‘joyful’. We will probably spend some more time together this weekend. She appeared on the scene at a time when I needed somebody to get somebody else out of my system.

She is not a woman that I would have dated regularly if she was from around here but now, after we dated a few times and knowing her better, I must admit that I would have hanged on to her if she did not live so far away. During our first two dates we have sort of agreed that we won’t pursue the relationship afterwards. Since then the subject was not raised again. I don’t have a problem with that. As I said earlier, she is not quite the woman that I would normally date.

But the fact remains that we had some great times during the last three weeks. I want to give her something to show my appreciation. She is not a materialistic person and she has always offered to pay half the bill. Naturally I refused every time. Last night she wanted to pay the whole bill and I had to be very firm to change her mind.

I have never been in a situation like this and I don’t know if it is appropriate to buy her a parting gift and if so, what a suitable gift will be.


See! It is almost weekend again.

If my memory serves me right I have been with CS exactly one year today. It had been an eventful year and a lot of things had happened.

Back on the home front life was colorful and interesting; with a few downs and many more ups but today I’d rather talk about the time spent here on CS.

I made some great friends, both male and female. I am not going to single out anybody. It will only offend the friends I am bound to leave off the list accidentally. In addition I also gathered a few enemies. But they were few and most had departed for better things to do.

During the year I posted 180 blogs, 21 polls, 5 articles, 4 tests and 3 poems. In the same period I have deleted approximately 10,800 (unconfirmed ) emails from scammers and if I subtract that number from the views received in total, we are left with more or less 68 real women.

So in all a very productive, if not interesting, year. But most of all, a year in which CS introduced me to the woman I believe I can spend the rest of my life with.

One of the recent additions to his band of followers is Hollywood actress Julia Roberts.

About a year ago, Roberts told Elle magazine that she was attracted to Hinduism and converted to the religion after seeing a picture of the baba. Born Lakshmi Narayan Sharma in Akbarpur, Uttar Pradesh, the baba is called 'Maharaj-ji' by his followers. A devotee of the monkey god, Hanuman, he taught that compassion is the highest virtue....... .. ..According to one version, Jobs, who was then 18, and his friend Dan Kottke travelled to the baba's ashram in what is now Uttarakhand but found that the guru had passed away by then.


But other celebrities came into contact with the baba and have gone on to live a life guided by his teachings. Among them is Larry Brilliant, a physician, humanitarian and the former head of Google's philanthropic arm.

Among his lifelong devotees is Ram Dass, an American born as Steve Alpert. Dass is the author of the spiritual book 'Be Here Now' that has sold over a million copies. He, Brilliant and other followers of the baba started the charitable organisation Seva Foundation. Jobs donated $10,000 in 1978 to help launch Seva.

The baba's followers run ashrams in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and New Mexico, United States. In 2008, American gossip website Gawker reported that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was at an ashram of 'Maharj-ji.' He was taken there by Brilliant, who is also said to have taken Google co-founder Larry Page and eBay's Jeff Skoll there..... ...

Don't say I didn't give you anything.

Does the majority class of women prefer long hair or short hair... Often ibfind the drama books women read have men with long hair but socially I'm told they prefer a guy with short hair... Reguardless I'm growing mine out to shoulder length but I wanted opinions to know what I'm about to walk into as far as the social life goes haha

From what weve been told of how it all began...there was a big Blast or if I have to use the proper terminology...there was a "Big Bang" from something oh so small.....But what supposedly came out of all of this were all of the Galaxies..Each containing "Billions" of Stars and of course Billions of Planets...And supposedly there are Billions of Galaxies(That we know of)..there could be more...Who knows at this Point...oh and Might I add that each of these Galaxies is supposedly traveling at a "Billion Miles An Hour away from each Other...(Lets hope the Scientist are right..(Otherwise we will never know they were wrong all along)....From the time that Human Beings walked upon this Earth(Not getting into how Humans started)the "Earth" was doomed to its slow agonizing Death that it is living through up til this Moment....We as A race of beings have nothing to be Proud of..Weve have Slaughtered Little Baby White Seals in Greenland(As they look up at us helplessly)and then received a blow that crushes their Skulls...We have electricuted an Elepahant in the Early 1900s to show the power of Electricity...We are slowly wiping out the Wildlife in Africa as they become ever so Squeezed into smaller pockets of Habitat...We are raping and scraping the OceanS floors clean of everything(Leaving dead zones wherever we go)And note that Without Plankton the food chain slowly dies.......We kill each other over and over again in Wars for whatever the Reason...We allow whats going on with ISIS to continue while they slaughter innocent People and Children(We do nothing because it doesnt effect us and we cant see it first Hand)We allow our Goverments to dictate to us what we should know(And with what they feed us ..we run with it and nothing will ever convince us otherwise...(Continues in the Comment Section)

Should the toilet seat be up or down?

This argument has torn families apart since the invention of the indoor toilet. Men mostly need it up while women always need it down. And since it takes approximately two seconds and zero effort to raise or lower the seat, it is clearly a matter of principle.

To look for a solution we must assume that the toilet is being used by both males and females. If not, why the hell would you be having trouble with this?

Then we have to realize then both men and women need to sit to do a #2, but only women need to sit for #1. That means that if you leave the seat up permanently, both men and women are inconvenienced, but if it's always down, only men are. Now the ladies may argue that it is best to just leave the seat down and the guys can deal with it as required.

But I do not understand why all the complications about the toilet seat. Why can’t everybody not just lift or drop the seat as needed and leave it in that position for the next person who may well be of the same gender and/or need. It will save a lot of wear and tear on the hinges.

I cannot help but wonder how does it affects the ladies if the seat is left up; for only they seem to be unhappy about the position of the toilet seat. What problems does it create?

But science gives us a much better reason to leave it up: The water in the toilet can evaporate more efficiently when the toilet seat is up. This cools the air thus helping to prevent global warming.
