THE IDEAL MAN-WHAT EVERY WOMAN EXPECTS...

THE IDEAL MAN-WHAT EVERY WOMAN EXPECTS...

He will be brilliant conversationalist

He will be sensitive, kind, understanding and loving.

He will be a very hard working man.

He will help around the house by washing

dishes, vacuming the floor and taking care of the garden.

He will be a man of emotional and physical strength.

He will be as smart as Einstein but look loke Harrison Ford.

...... BUT WHAT SHE ACTUALLY GETS

He always takes her to the best restaurants, someday he

will take her inside.

He doesn't have any ulsers,he just gives them

Anytime he gets an idea in his head,he has the whole

thing in a nutshel.

He is well known as a miracle worker,it's a miracle

when he works.

He supports his wife in the manner to which she was

accustomed,he lets her keep her job.

He is such a bore, that he even bores her to death when he

gives her a compliment.

He has occasional flashes of silence that make his

conversation brilliant.

After a man finds out ''woman'' is no angel he tries to ascertain to what extend she isn't.

What's Your Favorite Music Video?

Music videos have been around for some time now, however, really started making a visual statement (as art) in their own right (apart from the song); probably in the late 1980's. This was when "basic" special effects (generated by computers) came along.

Back then, (if you lived in Australia) you had to watch a show called "Countdown" (top of the pops format -on TV) to see your favorite musicians perform. In Australia, The ABC television station has a music video all night (weekends) TV show called "Rage" . In America it is MTV (or it was in the late eighties). Nowadays; of course, we have most music videos on youtube.

Anyway, you get the idea.

Blog open for each person to post their favorite music video/s.

(please post a maximum of 1 per comment). Comments are sought for each music video - Why do you like it? What makes it special?

To kick things off, I'll post a few of my favs. (there's really too many, to choose from)...

Baldness And Grey Hair

The Lord made a limited number of perfect scalps. The rest He covered with hair. Somebody asked me yesterday if I’m bald. No, I fear I do not have a perfect scalp… yet. sigh

I have a smallish bald patch on top and I have lost some hair in front, but this is only visible in winter - like now – when I grow my hair. In summer I keep my hair short.

Some men go bald on top first and then it spreads to the front. Others go bald in front first then it spreads to the top. A third group – like me – start both at more or less the same time and they work their way together across the top.professor

So what is the relevance?confused

Men who are bald in front think a lot while men who are bald on top know a lot.

So what if a man is bald in front and on top? Like me! grin

He thinks he knows a lot! rolling on the floor laughing

But while we are at the general topic of hair, why is it that my beard is greyer than my hair? It should not be so. After all, my hair is 18 years older than my beard.

So today is Tuesday. Vasbyt! We're getting there.

The dream of mature people

A mature person is not only that one who lived a long life, but someone who had lived many experiences which may not, necessarily, be linked to age.

When we are in adolescence everything in life is enchantment and charm. All dreams are possible, life is a big and funny party and it seems paradise is our arm’s reach.

We believe our first love will last forever, we will be succeeful professionals, and yet, think people who are around us will always be sincere and gentle.

One day, we face the first obstacles: we lose our love, paradise gets dark, we need to compete and work hard and harder to get a place under the sun, and people… not all of them wish the best to us.

Our dreams are broken, we are experienced in living, we became adults, mature people. And it hurts. Yes, it hurts deepest inside us, in our soul, in our life.

Some people just give up, they get tired out of disillusion and let it go. Never grow up, never build anything. They do not believe at dreaming and the magic power of it.
They get old prematurely and become surly, bad-tempered. The world is full of people like that.

Therefore there are some mature people who still dream. But they have different dreams. The young people dream of building, starting, conquering... The old people dream of re-building, re-start, re-conquer…

The mature people dream after having once lived different experiences, after having their heart broken, after many disappointments, after falling into traps and having faced the harsh reality that not all dreams come true. But they still know that it is worth to dream. And dream on ... consciously!

They love again, again and again! ..
They fall and rise and restart every time....
They always believe the next time will be different...

They hold dreams in their hands and do not give up them!

Generally these people are living longer and enjoy their time in its fullest because know to use it better. They are idealistic and blessed!

The mature people who are still dreaming the dreaming of life, are the projection of God’s best wishes, here, in the earth.

A nice stroll around the neighborhood.

Embedded image from another site

I was in a reflective mood this morning as I was walking Matilda (my pet dingo) around the local neighborhood.
I have come to know many people from around here, It is a diverse neighborhood with many born from other parts of the world now settled here, most are friendly souls and well others, I am best to stay clear from. There are widows and widowers, divorcees, singles, married, and others just starting out in a relationship that live nearby.
Some are nurses, photographers, retired, office workers, sales people, computer experts, builders, and so forth, all living in the same area.
The houses are all so different, some are two even three stories high, others have a pool in the back yard, and some are long, whilst others are decorated to reflect that person’s personality. Of course there are a couple of blocks of units and not forgetting an elderly person’s villa.
Occasionally, some would gather at the front yard of one persons place and they would just chat for hours, discussing the news of the day, and yes there were those that just liked to gossip and talk in circles, but they were normally the ones that lived in the old persons villa.
The weather was strange too, took a lot of getting used to, one moment it was as hot as an oven with your roast in it, the next day the ground was white with snow, this often caused confusion as no one knew what one day would bring to the next.
Everyone seemed to call each other by their nicknames and no one cared, I’m not sure if I know any of their first names either, but in general, all seemed to have an enjoyable time being in this neighborhood.
There was no Saturday night dances to go to, it seemed most took it in turns of hosting a group of others so they could share a drink or two and spin some yarns (tell jokes). There would be a different host nearly every night. It was great learning about people and where they had come from and how their country was different.
There were those that would just listen to stories and not say much if anything at all. It was thought that with time they would share, but ought not to be rushed into it.
As with every neighborhood, there were those that would meet just to gossip and spread innuendos about others, talk behind the backs of some. And of course there are the complainers, the ones that complained about the cost of bread, fuel, some would even complain about the time of day. Governments and authority seemed to be complained about most, it wasn’t as if we were all in a different situation. The rules of the day affect us all.
It was in general a good high spirited neighborhood, although at times I have seen some who crossed the road just because they saw someone they didn’t like walking towards them. Then there were those who thought that they were well liked, when in fact they were not.
Still I guess every neighborhood is similar to mine, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, Some funny, some not, Some elderly that need looking after, others that we hoped would move away, Some kind and generous, some wise, just a mixture of everything.
I guess I should call my neighborhood my home. BUT I don’t,
Home is where the heart belongs and my heart doesn't belong to this neighborhood.
What’s the name of my neighborhood?
Why it’s CS of course.thumbs up cheers sigh

Profile Honesty

How honest should we be on our profiles?

Would it put people off, or would it simply attract the type we are really looking for, and who are looking for us?

Should physical disabilities/abnormalities be put out there?

What about mental issues, from mild depression to dipshit loco?

Some people have no problem with either mental or physical issues, some even are attracted to them.

Same with body size. Should we put our BMI (Body Mass Index) on our profile. Although not a perfect method of measurement, is it not better than 'average ' or 'curvy' which means different things to different people.

Again, lots of people like fat or skinny people, and it would save them time in guessing/searching.

If we are selfish; unfaithful; possessive; short-tempered; undependable; argumentative; lazy; only want casual sex, etc., is it not better to say it?

If you want a partner to support you financially, why not say it? Some people want others to be dependent on them. Match made in heaven.

How honest should we be? And how able would people be to accept that honesty?

Useless trivia

Trolling through the blogs today for use of a better word i found nothing new or of interest so I decided to post this blog of useful and or useless information.

Feel free to add your own bits as I intend to update this blog on a regular basis.
