Musk backed OUT on the Twitter deal

JUSTIFIED? He's being sued.

Counter sue is the name of the game.

Disclosing all of the current practices on this company, Musk is vehemently proposing changes such as transparency.

He's scrutinizing all the management criteria to make sure he's able to control everything specifically eliminating fraudulent practices such as fake accounts.

Obviously there's a lot of anomalous parts in the real number of accounts presented.

44 billion is the number. The latest today, 4/25/2022

Yipeeeee Freedom of speech guaranteed.

Quite honestly? I'd have preferred that he'd start one similar from ground up and that'd be better.
Well from Offer to rejection to finally closing it.

I couldn't be happier. teddybear

Bald Headed Women: Do Women look Right Bald?

Embedded image from another site
Embedded image from another site

Do women look right bald headed?

We don’t think so.

Some men don’t look right bald headed, let alone women.

We are talking about when women shave their hair off as a choice, not if she loses her hair from a disease, chemotherapy, or accident.

Being bald headed takes away from a woman’s looks.

Takes away from her femininity.

Makes her look masculine.

It’s the woman’s decision to do whatever she wants to do with her hair.

Though some women choose to wear their hair short, maybe to fit in with their lifestyle.

Many lesbians contribute to this factor, when some are tomboys that dress like men.

Some straight (and gay) women experiment with the bald do, maybe to be different, rebel, or even for a good cause and charitable contribution.

Even when a woman have a very low cut hairstyle, can be almost the same as being bald.

Certain female celebrities that tried this out but didn’t pull it off, for example, like Natalie Portman, Britney Spears, India Arie, Demi Moore, Amber Rose, etc.

It doesn’t matter if they shaved their heads for a movie role. Though hair grows back but still, it don’t look right.

Even media-oriented-beautiful female celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Megan Fox, Halle Berry, or Jesica Alba wouldn’t be able to pull being bald off.

And you know exactly what people would say, if they can’t do it then no woman can!

Male Celebrities like Steve Harvey, Jamie Fox, John Travolta, can’t pull it off neither.

We don’t know any woman that can pulled being bald headed off, without taking away from her looks.

But a few males celebrities like Michael Jordan, Wentworth Miller, David Beckham, look great bald or with low haircuts.

People can sport any hairstyle they want to because it’s their choices.

Both men and women. But we all know that a woman turns more heads, when she is sporting a shaved head.

Like always, in this fashion-conscience society.

Women gets most of the cruel brunt, whenever they dazzle with their hairstyles and wadrobe choices.

It’s not right but that’s the way it goes in our society.

Women have to be perfect to fit in with the fashion game.

It would be nice if someone could say, “Hey, I make my own choices, society don’t dictate me. It’s my money, so I can dress the way I please. And I can wear whatever hairstyle I like and still feel beautiful inside and out.”

Hopefully, more people will develop this attitude.

Condemned man dies during execution, updated.

A news item today reports on a condemned man who had a heart attack when the "lethal" injection failed to work properly,

To my way of thinking this leaves us with several questions -

Should we be executing people in the first place?
Can we not in 2014 come up with a lethal injection that both works & is humane?
When can we expect to see the bastard that raped & murdered an 11 month old girl who was due to be executed two hours later put to death?

UPDATE.
Further details of the days events are now available on the BBC news site for those that haven't already seen them.

my very sobering blog

some people look to God for inspiration. i look to one of God's gifts for inspiration. i watched a documentary on Dave Munstaine of Megadeth the other day. i was riveted by his story.

i had the pleasure to meet him in the '80's when my sister worked as his band's press manager at Capitol Records. my sister said he was equally impressed with me. a high compliment for sure.

This man struggles with monumental drug and alcohol addiction but has kicked it and is a responsible family man with a wife and 2 successful children. he has overcome throat cancer and is currently in remission.

This man as been to rehab 15 times and thanks be to God that he is clean, sober and a living icon.

i appreciate his struggles and respect his tenacity and strength. his health achievements soar even higher than his musical genius.

i have struggled with addiction for probably 20 years. i've been to rehab once, after ODing on pills and whiskey. spent 48 hours under suicide watch, a very unpleasant experience.

last night, while i went out for smokes, i entertained the idea of picking up a 15 pack of beer that i can finish in a day, but while i was driving to the gas station, i could see Dave's face. i thought about what he had been through and where he is now, and i drove straight home.

i've been clean a week. i know it's not much but i have pictures of Dave to remind me of how i can be. if i have the will. Dave helps me. no, he's not God but i think God has finally reached me, through Dave.

this blog isn't about attention seeking. it's a sliver of a reality some of us live and i'm talking about it.

here's one of my favorite songs

jealousy, misunderstandings... blogs

Ok I know i've been pre-occupied a bit as of late.. But that doesn't mean I didn't notice whats been going on around here.

Today, I guess its time for me to speak up once again.
Not so long ago, many bloggers have left this site.. some by free will others were made to leave by Cs. Whatever the reasons were are of no importance at this moment in time. but, before that day had come we know their were heavy fights going on around here. I also remember how many of you have asked, even begged, or demanded peace would return on these pages that we all love.
Peace has been restored by Cs officials. And I for one thank them for that. Ever since that day, we were able to return to our normal way of blogging. Some created heartwarming stories, others shared poems, relegious, or scientific blogs. Some were light hearted, other plain stupid.. but we had some very funny ones as well. Some were popular, others were not. New members have joined and started sharing their stories with all of us.
These pages have been a nice place once again. I wish we could keep it that way. Don't let jealousy or misunderstandings lead us to create blogs that are only their to place sneaky remarks at others. Follow your own advice that all of you have given me at one moment in time.. Ignore the ones you don't like and focus on the ones you do like. Feel free to debate, or to express your opinion about all topics that are placed here. But try not to insult another blogger on a personal level.

Let us all do what we claim to be here for.. let us enjoy ourselves. I do hope and believe we are all here to have fun and that nobody here considers having fights or arguements is a way to entertain themselves.
Don't forget, we are all unique, with our own qualities and flaws. We come from different backgrounds, different cultures... But that doesn't mean the one is better then the other. Let us respect eachother and learn from eachother. Don't let us be put down because someone else has a moment of glory.. Let us be motivated to become better ourselves because of that. Better by improving our own skills, not by bringing someone else down.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this. hug cheers

A toast to vegemite

Embedded image from another site

On October 25, 2013 vegemite is celebrating it's 90th birthday. This product isn't always appreciated globally, in fact, many people from overseas wonder how Australians manage to have it as a staple food in their cupboard.

But in recognition of vegemite, I think we should have a toast...

Embedded image from another site

giggle...okay perhaps we will put it on toast.

To date, we have enjoyed 90 billion jars of vegemite in Australia. It's iconic for Australians.... just as a tinnie at a BBQ, our 'such is life' bushranger or even Don Bradman , our star cricketer. It holds an integral part of our culture in it's hands.

The only thing that saddens many Australians is that our famous icon and favourite breakfast spread is now owned by Americans...and they don't seem to appreciate it like we do! laugh

So on behalf of Australia... Happy Birthday, Vegemite! party

"Miss You Like Crazy"..........

Embedded image from another site

"Miss You Like Crazy"
I miss you like the sky misses the birds
I miss you like a song without the words
And everyday away from you it hurts
Cuz I'm missing you like crazy
I miss you like the sun misses the day
I need you like the desert that needs the rain
And baby it's driving me insane
Cuz I'm missing you like crazy
I'm missing you like crazy

Sitting here, thinkin' bout how much you
You mean to me, you're my love, my baby
You're my friend my homey
What we got can't be replaced
I see no one, taking ya space
Anywhere you take me
I'll follow

Cuz everytime I gotta go, I look into your eyes and then I know
You'll be waiting for me,
and no matter how long that may be
I know that you are always there for me
Oh baby, I can't wait until I have you here

Sometimes at night I get it bad
I think about the times we share
So I rush to call you hoping you miss me too
The speacial way you say my name
You soothe my heart, make it ok
You're not here so I hold
My pillow

Cuz everytime I gotta go, I look into your eyes and then I know
You'll be waiting for me,
and no matter how long that may be
I know that you are always there for me
Oh baby, I can't wait until I have you here

Baby, I'm missing you like crazy
And I'm hoping that you miss me too
I'm missing you like crazy.

Lending A Hand

Last week, while mending the fence, my neighbour’s wife came over to chat with me. While talking, her seven year old son joined us, asking if he could help me. The woman was astonished. I suppose with five kids in the house she could do with all the help from the children she could get.

“Why don’t you ever ask me that?” she asked him reproachfully.

The boy looked at his mother and asked;”Mommy, can I help the uncle?”

I suppose that boys, even at that age, don’t want to do “a woman’s work”.
