turning the other cheek

Embedded image from another site

I know this is a very saturated and over exposed discussion about the Charlie Hebdo case but this is a very interesting point of view.

I read the front page of the Pioneer Newspaper published last Sunday and it was a remarkable analysis on how Joe Soucheray the columnist, who likened his story on his experience with one of the rock and roll magazine.

In the Christian world, I remember being taught that if someone slaps you in the face, you should turn the other cheek for more slapping? I kind of said: REALLY????? Now of course, I know sometime, we can't always do that..It is in our human instinct to fight back. To retaliate, to protect ourselves. But yes, if only we can all be like Jesus, then there would be no more war. You think?

Anyway the gist of the story is that sure, no one deserves to die, specially for the practice of free speech and it shouldn't be, after all this is one of our prime provision accorded to be free.

The thing to me is, there is nothing that can trigger any of this, knowing very well that these people kill with or without reason.

TERRORIST- are here to agonize us, torrorize us with or without reason. We already know that. Why wait for some cause or reason to justify declaring war against them? Why don't we commit ourselves on identifying who they are, where they are and expunge them?

AFTER ALL IT'S EITHER THEM OR US, RIGHT? I

NOTE:I feel the sensitivity of the Paris fiasco has gone so deep on our minds. But more so on our emotions. Touching very deeply our core of religious beliefs, and somehow even our cultural ways of life. It is played out both ways where there is not an easy answer nor there is any clear solution on the matter.

First of all it is complicated on the fact that from all sides it has been dispersed into associating it with old religious institutions. Second, it has become over toned on political implications due to the SO CALLED FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, and lastly, now here we are asking ourselves, who is our enemy?

Thanks all for your read and comments.

Incomplete Blog (Mostly Gossip)

I get very suspicious when two bloggers disappear at the same time. Every time when it happened in the past, there was a snake in the grass.uh oh

Jim and Wallops have been missing for a while now. I know they are still underage, but there may just be some state in the USA that will allow minors to be married. I think we must investigate it. At this rate there will soon be nobody left to read and write blogs.wow

Our beer-drinking Canadian flutterby is also MIA, but methinks she patched it up with her ex-husband. From her blogs, it seemed evident that she was still very fond of him.grin

But lots of things are brewing. Before Denmark’s very own Marco Polo got visitors, he was camping on the blog of a prominent Scottish blogger. I‘m not playing Cupid, but is there something hatching?confused

And somebody else is still crazy (after all these years) about some jerk with a weakness for Fruity Loops.shock

As for myself, no thank you. The woman who settles for me is mad and I don’t want a wife who is – please insert the F-Word (continuous tense) here – nuts.doh

Things to do before posting: Insert more garbage in here.idea

Did I miss anything? Any other late breaking news can be posted on my billboard.conversing

Listening to Kevin Samuels....for the men...What is a low value woman...

S.I.G.N.

According to Kevin Samuels:

A low value woman is...

S = Shame (They will shame you).
I = Insult ( " " insult " ).
G = Guilt ( " " guilt " ).
N = Need to be right (they will always need to be right).

Which leads to these types of traits:

no accountability
no honesty
no apologies

What do you think men and women....do you agree with him? Is Kevin Samuels right about low value women?

Happy Friday all. wave

Some People!

I’m very even tempered; always the same. When somebody or something pissed me off, I don’t take it out on the next person and I cannot understand why some people are like that.confused

My neighbor's wife is one of those. Generally she is very sweet and we get along well. I have entertained them a few times and go there sometimes as well. I think we can consider us friends. But every now and again she gets into a bad mood and then she is the unpleasantness in person. very mad

Yesterday afternoon when we came from the beach, my neighbor's wife was in the garden and when I greeted her, she ignored me. I repeated my greeting but she promptly turned around and went into the house. I opened my house door for my guests, asked them to excuse me for few minutes and walked around to my neighbor's place. mumbling

She opened the door and I spotted her husband standing a few yards behind her making some gestures towards me that I translated as ‘run for the hills’. I was not going to take such advice. uh oh

I greeted her again and asked her why she does not want to greet me. She said that she can greet whoever she wants. I agreed with her but added that then she should be consistent so I don’t waste my time greeting people who don’t want to greet me. Her husband still stood at the back grinning and covering his head with his arms as if expecting a nuclear detonation. I had trouble keeping my face straight. Sorry, she said, she’s not feeling well. I’m sorry too, I thought but left it at that. To rub my misgivings in a bit, I greeted her again and she managed a weak smile and greeted me back. Fourth time lucky!applause

Later, after my other two guests have departed, I relayed the story to my girlfriend and she suggested PMS. I have heard a lot of this ‘evil spirit’ that possesses women at times but cannot always understand it. I can understand that it leaves the host irritated and frustrated but is it really reason to be rude to people who you have a good relationship with?dunno

Older woman dating younger man. . .

Guys, please tell me what is ur honest opinion about this?
For example, Demi and Ashton. . . (i think the age gap is too much is it?)
But honestly, its a tempting choice for some women to think that we got a hot younger man by our side...
But women gets to be mature faster than men, so maybe plastic surgery, botox and implants are a way to keep up with the younger stud. . .? (want to stay young and beautiful is too much pain some times and expenssive too, lol)
Because the more years we spent on earth the more of this earth gravity are pulling us down . In other terms WRINKLES ... Lol
So can a woman look like her age and have younger guy interested in her anyways?
Btw, this blog is not about me, really!

Green eyes

I never knew this before about green eyes.

Green is the rarest of eye colours, occurring naturally in only 2% of the world's population. It is the only eye colour that changes, becoming more green, gray or blue based on mood, weather or surroundings.

People with green eyes are often leaders. They tend to be good listeners and excellent speakers, attracting other people like magnets. Naturally curious and very intuitive, the green-eyed person is always easy to talk to and makes an excellent lover. Tough, quick-witted and caring, they also make wonderful friends.

Those interested in becoming friends and lovers please form a orderly queue on the left, while I work out why my eyes are hazel as often as they are true green. If I can just get the switch permanently flicked across to green, the future looks rosy. grin

WIFE VS. HUSBAND

A couple

drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.

An earlier discussion had led to an argument and

neither of them wanted to concede their position.

As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs,

the husband asked sarcastically,

'Relatives of yours?'

'Yep,' the wife replied,

'in-laws'laugh

Why I lose my temper

I really should stay away from here, this place just makes me too angry. Stupidity and dishonesty are two of the worst things for making me angry, and there is an abundance of both here lately.

The dishonesty is in the videos and articles that get posted. Most of what is in them is shameless distortion of facts, and very often outright lies. The fact that they are dishonest is bad enough, but many are downright dangerous, or they would be if enough people believed them. To encourage people to ignore official rules and guidelines in the present situation is malicious. Encouraging people to act politically, prompted by lies and propaganda is malicious. Trying to frighten people into believing over religious fantasy with the threat of Hell and the Devil is malicious.

The stupidity is in the idiots who believe all this crap. They actually think they are being smart; can you believe that! They think they are one jump ahead of the government, the establishment, the mainstream media, the NWO. The morons are swallowing it all, hook, line and sinker. Who do they think is behind all this “truth” they are being given? What do they really know about these people who are “enlightening” them? What logical reason do they have to put even the slightest trust in them? Just because they are sceptical of officialdom, they seem to think that absolutely any information that confirms their suspicions must be the gospel truth, no matter how implausible or absurd it may be. They end up beating their chests and crowing about not being suckers, while all the while they are being exploited and manipulated by people far worse than their governments.

All this, on top of my having to go back to work on Tuesday, is simply too much. crying
