a servant of salt
she docks on the old jetty
timbers in the sun
topaz delights me
sets the rhythm of the night
to the chase I'm born
Aristotle's virtues
a field of mountainside flowers
making of a man

“In the future,
all parts of the body and brain,”
the professor beamed
at his rapt audience
“will be replaceable.”
“PROMAN will pursue
his ever-adjustable programs
forever.
He will affix to and discard from
his body, as required,
all that is in need of renewal.”
"He will function faultlessly
as per The Blueprint.
‘Imperfect’ man and ‘polluted’ Earth
will at last be done with.”
“Does that mean there’ll be no more
Father Xmas?” a student asked, aghast.
“Sorry,” the professor dourly replied;
“no chimneys likely.”

In shadows we roamed,
Echoes of love now faded,
Lost souls find solace.

About this poem:
In the haiku, "In shadows we roamed" sets the scene of a relationship that once existed, where the lovers were intertwined in each other's lives, sharing moments both bright and dark. "Echoes of love now faded" signifies that the intensity and passion of their love have diminished over time, leaving behind only faint remnants of what once was. Finally, "Lost souls find solace" suggests that despite the loss and heartache, there is still hope for healing and finding peace in the aftermath of lost love. It speaks to the resilience of the human spirit and the possibility of moving forward despite the pain.

flames for Africa
a hot girl in my chimney
move over Santa
send me an angel
send me an angel, right now,
right now, burns me up ... Real Life, remember that one?
Our love is custard
You're so white and I'm an egg
beat it, beat it, Uh! ... one for Michael.
